How would I get a proper blond color for hair?
Color palette
As shown, I use the colors I've labeled as 1 and 2 to make a "strawberry blond" blond color.
If I want something even lighter I move the 1 to the right one spot, and the 2 directly below one spot.
It gets me results like this.
Wow, that works really well. Thanks for the help.

Similarly, I use one of the yellows and one of the yellow-oranges for a lighter blonde look.
Vary up and down the yellows, yellow-oranges, and orange/orange-reds with differing ones as primary and secondary and alternate those until you find a combination you're looking for.
You can also use other colors as a secondary for some interesting looks - white for a platinum blonde, grays to dull it down, etc.

Did a little net searchin..and found this hair color chart for wigs:

Matching that with the COH Color Chart:

I was able to get a close repsentation of a few of the blonde colors:

Its not an exact science, and some of the new hairstyles use the highlights better than others....Good luck!
It also depends on what hairstyle you're using. For some reason they all blend differently. Some are really bad about not wanting to blend properly and you end up looking like you need to re-apply your dye.
For one of my toons I use the Long 1 and the glam hairstyle, with (using the name's from Monkey's chart) 38 as my primary color and white as my secondary color, I get a really nice bleached blonde effect.
Was going to provide a screenie... but photobucket is currently down. Perhaps I will ninja one in tomorrow.
Another thing to keep in mind when you're choosing your shade... the game horribly distorts or changes the actual tone once you are in-game. This due to their over-liberal use of coloring filters for in-game daylight/nightime atmosphere (most notably in messed-up Zones such as Atlas Park). So no matter how 'perfect' you believe your character is set up... you'll be in for a bit of color-sticker shock once they get out of the noob Training Area.
Alt, nice color chart.
I pulled the trigger. That's right, I did it, in Warburg, with the pistol. - Mista Chains
Everyone know the Tank Archetype get the most drops of all the types. This is because of their "Death Dealing" powers. I call it the front line bonus...but you'll never read this in the wiki - "Rx10"
I've been experimenting in the character creator, and I cannot for the life of me create a proper blond color. Anyone know how to make a good looking one?
