For me, undeniably and without serious competition, its Croatoa. The entire Hallowe'en vibe makes my day. Two fun GMs to kill (three if you count Sally, but she poses as much of a threat as an emp defender on a tequila bender), a great TF (with witch hats!) and you've gotta go there anyway to unlock your salvage costume slot.

If there was a gate to the Shard (2nd favorite zone--I think of the SS zones collectively) from Croatoa I don't think I'd ever see PI again!

Bring up your map in-game. There are tabs on the upper left that let you choose between zone and city wide views (enlarge the map to see better).
When you mouse over zones on the city map you get their names, and the map itself will show you which zones connect to which. You'll see that Dark Astoria lies to the east of Talos Island.

The city-wide map can also be seen in the train stations, although without the same mouse-over-for-name capacity.

That all rad ITF last night was awesome. I wasn't sure how well we'd do with no tanks, scrappers and so forth, but it cruised along amazingly well!

Are you still looking at Trials for next week? Personally, I've found this event so much fun during the month you've been running it that I'd be happy to stay for 2 TFs / Trials or what-have-you.

I know I keep telling you this, but it's an awesome idea for an event. Now I'm thinking "all rad pvp team".

It drives me nuts when I'm at the tailor or respec'ing only to find out folks were PMing me the whole time. Sometimes they think they're being ignored.

You can't use the /afk command because it disappears as soon as you click the tailor or what have you.

Could it be set up so that, once you start at the tailor's or start a respec, the game automatically responds that you're afk? Would save some hassles, to be sure!

P.S.: Radiation melee. Just sayin'.

There isn't really a place to put this up, so I'm going to throw it up here.

I know a lot of CoX players are also university students, and that can be hectic. So I wanted to make an offer to those who fall under that category.

Writing papers and such sucks and it never hurts to have someone give them a read-over. I completed my Masters' last year and am not lecturing this semester (took some time off). So, if you're a student, and want someone to read over your papers before you hand them in, drop me a line here on the forums and I'll send you my email address. Then send me your paper and I'll give it a going over, no charge.

Beyond proof-reading, my specialties are comparative religion; history; and political science so I can also advise on all those topics.

I thought this might be a nice way to give back to the CoX community; there may well be other players out there who can offer the same thing and, if so, I invite them to hop on board the bandwagon as well!

Then @Silas' agents found me and convinced me that rolling a corruptor would be a 'Good fuggin' Idea' and that otherwise my 'really nice laptop could have an accident, ya knows?".

So I'm corruptoring my way through Praetoria.

I doubt my rad blaster will be in the right level range by then; if not, I'll bring my ice/thermal troller and handle the buffs and heals.
