    Well like i said this isnt a joke thread as i am serious
    then you should have emailed one of the devs or mods. just because this game does not have the numbers of WoW or other MMO's does not mean it is failing. look at the time of year it is. schools getting out, parents taking vacation time and all sorts of other things that affect the population just like during school start up and christmas and every other holiday out there where the pop seems to dip for a little bit.

    of course it would help if maybe they fixed the bugs and other problems with the game before going live rather then just pushing things through.

    where is your "proof" that the game is loosing people because they don't advertise? while i agree that they should look at doing something, i find your assumption false.

    as for where this section belongs, here is good. there is a very good reason why this section is where it is.

    Taking risk does not always bring failure anyway. By being timid with the changes, the Devs almost guarantee failure. I quit the game for nearly two years and still return to find sets like EA and FA suffering. If they buffed both sets boldly the first time and then nerfed them again slightly then they would not have been in such a poor state for so long. We would be sitting here talking about how EA and FA are solid sets.
    the problem with doing it this way is that you would have a lot more whining and crying about nerfs then anything. that is why it takes a while to make changes to power sets and such. they have to make sure that they aren't going to destroy the powerset by doing so while keeping playability there.

    i don't think you understood the problem SB. he has a dark purple bar, not blue bar, which would indicate debt.

    to the OP, can you take a screen shot and post it here so that we can see exactly what is going on? make sure your chat box is open so we can see the rewards you got for killing something.

    i believe that in the io description it says just that. something along the lines of a chance to give 10 end to the TARGET.

  8. there really is nothing wrong with the io at all so i see no need for any change to be made. if you have froce of nature then it is safe to assume that you took temp invuln so why not remove it from FoN and put it in temp invuln so that you have it active all the time?
  9. i seriously think you have confused your self M_C_M. vet rewards are not used to keep players playing or to intice new players to join. it is the game itself that does that. there is no reason to add any other "tiers" of rewards. the only thing that needs to happen is to relook at the rewards and change out the costume rewards for something else or give all players access to some sort of generic costume pieces of the vet rewards.

Much more kins would use SB and keep it up (without even expecting people to beg for it, like OP!) The only complaint I could see is that the other buff classes still have to buff everyone every two minutes, in which case they should just change most of those buffs to have longer durations as well.

    Hell, I'd even be happy with them just making it a "buff one person and everyone else gets it" buff. That way it's less of a hassle for the person in charge of it.
    it all falls in the little category know as balance. if they up the duration they will take away from the performance to balance it out. and your "buff one person...", what happens when there are people not in range of the person who got the buff? do they still get it or are they screwed seeing as how you just spent 1/3 of your end giving out the buff?

  12. i do not believe it does. and if it did, it would only last for the 5.25 sec duration when you cast the pets. i really think it is a bad io to be in a pet set actually.
  13. jade, i have a feeling your sound drivers are borked. try updating those if you can and see if that helps. try a disc clean up and defrag also.

    thirdly, if you find your server dead, move to another one like freedom or virtue. go to the server section and check out what is happening on all the servers and make a choice.

    trying to back pedal and say that you didn't say what you said when we can clearly read what you said is a very bad thing. next time, use the search. it is the word at the top of the screen that is in between new posts and quick links. if you don't know how to use it, there is a sticky on every section i believe that tells you how to use the search.

    i am surprised that i was calm about this. anyone else?

    as long as you keep your account active you will get the rewards that everyone else already has for keeping their accounts active. just because you joined in 2010 doesn't mean that you wont get the same exact rewards that we have now. in fact alot of the vet rewards, specificay the temp powers, can be gotten in game through missions. while they don't last forever, they are still versions of the vet rewards.

    as stated already, walk was put in for the rp'ers to use while rp'ing with each other. that is all. do you have any idea how long it would take to make every power in the game work with walk? if not, then please do not continue with this topic.

    ok let me spell it out for you, N O. vet rewards are not what keeps players around. it is new content and powersets and the like. for new players, it is the fact that they have never played the game and are amazed at all the options they have that keeps them. if you are that put off of the game by vet rewards, then by all means do not continue on with the game.

    what part of NO don't you understand? vet rewards are based on keeping your account active, not how much money you are willing to plunk down. and trying to start a new vet reward system along with the current one will only create more problems then it will do good.
