I have to admit that there was a time, not too long ago, when I was playing (one of) my Rad(s), and I got SERIOUSLY wound up whenever anyone took down the anchor before the rest of the spawn was taken out.

I then got perspective.

Now I reserve my anchor powers for EB and AV fights, because on the teams I tend to play on, if I have time to actually drop all my anchor powers in a normal spawn before they're all dead, then it's a flippin' miracle.

My main runs with Superspeed and a +Stealth IO without any problems at all, except against Sniper mobs. Sounds to me as though you may have a toggle running that affects enemies, as that will break stealth.

Actually, yes, you are. And therin lies the problem. You're saying "Either join in, or break character by ignoring something happening". Because to ignore it, I had to break character. But I didn't want to get involved. Perhaps, once you'd gathered your little group of people who wanted to be railroaded, you could have moved, politely, a short distance away so as not to disturb those of us who weren't interested, like we asked you to, politely, but you ignored and decided to force your railroad on us. Not at all, MaX. But RPers don't drop their nukes five times a night after they get them at L32/38. Yet it happened last night, for some reason.

So, let me get this straight... you WANT to force me to do something I don't want to do? You think it's OKAY to force me to RP a scenario that I want no part of?

Wrong.

I have as much right to RP there as anyone else, but I also have a right to pick which RP situations I want to get involved in. What happened last night was at the very least god-moding (forcing characters to get involved in something they didn't want to, and a cardinal RP sin), and if it wasn't that, then it was griefing (actively trying to spoil the enjoyment of other people playing the game).

I'm not moaning for the sake of it, I'm asking that people give the same consideration for other RPers that I do, and not force them to break character or get involved in what was, quite frankly, and in my opinion only, a stupid and pointless 'plot' (I use the word loosely) designed for no better purpose than to show off the shiny new power.

No one ever assumed, believed or stated that the area under Galaxy Girl is only for RPers. We don't mind people passing through, to click on Charlie Sparks, read the plaque, or whatever. What bothers us is people deciding that it's a good idea to interfere with OUR fun.

Not when the same person creates a handful of toons, drags them to the area one after another, and blows them all up, while (as Ravenswing said) pretenting to RP for 20 minutes about the fact that they were going to blow up, with no way for anyone to intervene. If they want to show off their fancy new power to a lot of players, there are places to do it where it won't interfere with other players' enjoyment of the game.

It may not help much, because this fits into the classification of "known issue", but there might be something that can help you.

If you're going to do it Solo, do it on Unyielding.

Invincible spawns AVs regardless.

IIRC, Unyielding won't spawn them unless you're on a team of 3 or more players.

Do you mean a Supergroup Uniform, or just 'traditional' spandex costumes for all heroes?

If the former, then I believe there are quite a number (I'm afraid I don't know for certain which ones), and if you mean the latter, then it's actually a rarity for the heroes to NOT have some sort of 'traditional' costume.

Yes, refining Base Salvage into Component Salvage counts - I've gained at least two of the crafting badges while I've been doing this.

Not selfish at all. For the moment we are uncertain as to the ultimate result of this. I'm sure we can expect some impact, but I'm sure that NCSoft will do everything possible to minimise it.
