Stealth IO in superspeed
Just wondering, what sets does you Scrapper have? If you're running a power which effects nearby enemies it will break your stealth so you'll need to turn it off to sneak up or go past them.
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
My main runs with Superspeed and a +Stealth IO without any problems at all, except against Sniper mobs. Sounds to me as though you may have a toggle running that affects enemies, as that will break stealth.
The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise.

Nemesis, both outdoors AND indoors, often have Snipers, who have greatly increased perception.
Not sure about Carnies or Praetorians.
No, Carnies and Praets don't have any +perception. It seems most likely the OP was running something like RttC or Invince.
I really should do something about this signature.
Personally I prefer the stealth IO in one of the prestige sprints as it gives more options with the +stealth on two powers albeit with a higher end cost.
RttC at least on my tank doesn't seem to matter - I can still run past mobs with SS and no extra stealth over that without them aggroing.
Snipers will almost always spot you as their +per is so high and Rikti drones will usually do so if you hang around any length of time even with the SS, Stealth IO and Stealth on my US 'troller
Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant
Well, that's because Rikti Drones actually ignore the stealth/perception system and see anything.
Yup I had Rise to the challenge toggled on, some days I am such a muppet.
Thank you all for clearing that up, I turned it off and ran thru the same mobs, calling them names and being generally unpleasant to them and they didn't bat an eye.

That could be because they thought you were harmless. The idea is to go and kick one of them in the shin. That usually gets a response...
I quite fancied SS as my last power choice on my scrapper and thought I would slot the celerity stealth IO in it and zip through mobs un-detected however....
Is this not working or am I doing something wrong?
I tried it out against a mixture of foe, nemesis, praetorian and carnies and in each case they saw me.
My scrapper is 50, the IO is 48 and the foe were 49 and 50.
Can anyone advise please..
