Do you mean a Supergroup Uniform, or just 'traditional' spandex costumes for all heroes?

If the former, then I believe there are quite a number (I'm afraid I don't know for certain which ones), and if you mean the latter, then it's actually a rarity for the heroes to NOT have some sort of 'traditional' costume.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

I'd disagree.

Most heroes I see have a very urban looking costume these days, don't see many tights/spandexers around.

Urban?

Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

Urban=street clothes. not as in urban hip-hop fashion.

I'd say most of my chars dress in light body armour and cloth, my spandex heroes and villains tend to have a very short lifespan, as they tend to look silly (like the classic x-men do)

Spandex is so 1940s, Kevlar and leather is where it's at these days. :P

See to me spandex is classic, leather is 90's, armour is more modern but can leave toons looking more like Metal Mickey than Iron Man.

Guess it's each to their own

Hmm... War Crow didn't have a costume with a cape and a superhero look until he got a fifth slot and I decided to give him a 'formal' superhero costume. He uses it on Vanguard missions mostly.

I tend to agree with Merrow on this one, lots of non-traditional (or at least non-Golden/Silver Age) costumes about.

Subconsciously, or consciously, I think most people like to relate with their heroes, so they dress them in what they as a player might wear, i.e plain clothes, simplistic/realistic armour as opposed to the traditional golden age spandex. Smooth, silky, black Cyclist's Lycra is kinda sexy though.

Welcome to last month
you are, however, going to have to remind me who you are, and why that comment is important.

... or connected to the topic of traditional costumes for that matter.

I know a lot of Rpers on union with "traditional" costumes (myself being one of them) just look around at GG and try and find some, or randomly click through the handbook site and see who looks "spandexy" and try and contact them in-character in-game.

I find that costumes with tech and armour appeal so much more to me. My only spandexy hero is a PB who was specifically built as part of a Spandex opponent group for my villain SG. And even then he has armour plating on
Its just personal tastes really.

Yeah I agree, it also comes down to character concept. Alot of people just simply don't play the type of person who runs around in multicoloured tights. Others do, haha (i'm well known in my supergroup as an 8foot tall spandexed giant )
