  1. First of all I have a relatively new computer. It has always run rather nice and smooth when running CoH.
So, I was looking at my options and just messin around and seeing what things do when I notice my graphics setting.
I notice that it is set at "recommended"(which is one down from the top) which is fine but I wanted to see what the top graphic setting looked like...
So I switch to quality setting, and my comp immediatly and noticeably lags down.
Now I am fine with the setting my graphics were at, but this concerns me because I was really looking forward to "Ultra mode" when GR comes out.

So if my comp cant handle "quality mode" I fear it will have no chance against "Ultra mode".

To satisfy those people who will undoubtedly ask me what my graphics card is, It is a NVIDIA GeForce. Im not tech smart when it comes to products so...Im not asking for a solution just a yes or no can I use Ultra mode effectively.

(BTW sorry since Im pretty sure this was addressed by several people after the initial announcement of "Ultra mode", but I missed those threads, and they have already come and gone.)
  2. Yay! The badges are awesome. Now Im itching for beta...
  3. [QUOTE=StormVyxen;2412117]Badger, badger, badger. Mushroom. Snaaaaaaaaakkkkkkeeeeee.

    Ahahaha! Love that song!
  4. I think a teleport defense set would be brilliant.
One power description could be: Just as you are about to be hit you vanish and avoid the attack.
I just really want to be able to tp behind someone, punch them, tp in front of them punch them in the face ect...
For the combat tp the reticle would have to dissapear, maybe it would work via targetting an enemy?

    No "More"

Lol. Im imagining Atlas in one of those old Godzilla movies.
  6. [QUOTE=BBQ_Pork;2377755]The way I read it:
It sounds a lot like being able to roll an alt, but retain the current name, costume unlocks and badges. Since you specified that the new "build" would start at L1, that is.
I do have a L50 that has been retired for quite a long time that I would like to have made with a different Secondary. (Willpower would have been better, but it wasn't around at the time) The only thing keeping him from deletion is his badges, many of which you can't get anymore, like the 1st anniversary one. And a bit of sentimental value.QUOTE]

This is pretty much what I was thinking, except that you could always go to a trainer and play your old build if you want.
  7. The abdomen area reminds me of Praetorian clockwork.

Hmm...you make a good point. Its more like expanding upon a current character rather than making a new one, I guess it has more RP purposes than not. But more could be added to make it more than just like rolling a new toon.
  9. Ok guys we all know that a lot of the ideas that are implemented into the game come from players themselves. So lets get our minds working and pump out some ideas! Criticism is ok as long as its constructive. So dont just say "That is stupid and will never work." Ok, so to get this ball rolling I'll shoot out an idea.

Ok we already have two builds available to us right? Well, lets expand on that. My idea is that when you get to 50 you unlock a new build. But this is a special build. This build will start over at lvl 1 and allow you to choose a new powerset to use. NOTE: This would not be like now where the levels between your builds are the same, the new build would start at lvl1 again. Also, when that build hits 50 you get to choose a new build, and ect. Thus, this would allow you to expand upon your heros current abilities without cheating the system.
  10. We should create an actual channel in game for the undern3t.
    Just an idea.
    Shadowclone signing off.
  11. Love the puppet idea. Especially puppets that can fall apart and all of their body parts are weapons.

I mean we need to be able to know the movements of the loyalists so we can counteract them.
Not like "We see and hear EVERYTHING your doing." :P
  14. Reporting for duty.
I believe we need intel if we are to succesfully bring about the fall of Cole. We need some eyes on the inside.
It is essential that we take the right course of action so that after Cole falls society does not collapse.
    Signing out...

Why should this imply that Praetoria has portal tech? We can go to Praetoria and it doesnt require them to have portal tech.

Also where did the Weaver come from, and if that is the weaver, why does it look like that??? alien? mutant? giant sprider creature from earth?
This calls for some serious background details.

  18. I'd love to see a Return of the Weaver arc make it's way into the game.
Maybe in Praetoria since States is evil then maybe Recluse is good and never killed the Weaver?

No, their just putting an AE in the Shadow Shard...
  20. "However I have a lot on my plate today, including examining a cavern full of lava for its potential uses in the future and a trip into the Shadow Shard. Crazy place that Shard is alright, reminds me a bit of an old movie at one point..."

That was Dr. Aeon in a thread he made. Great now we have Dr. Aeon in the Shard...
  21. A little bit off topic yet humerous anecdote. Today I saw : Zombie invasion in Firebase Zulu
Because the last thing we need is zombies in the shard.
Well, since zombies spawn off of people, there were probably still no zombies.

Although...hmm, Kuuralath the Scavenger...you could have something there. Villains have been to the Shadow Shard. Who's to say some people didn't wander "off the beaten path" (ie out of the four zones we're aware of), run into one of the Aspects, and agree to do its bidding? We do know that Rularuu has his soldiers try to scavenge our technology, why not have minions to scavenge our magic as well?
Very true, very true... And let's not forget we have Nemisis there as well and we can blame anything on a *cough* plot *cough*.

Lol, nice. But AP doesn't need Rularuu's help to crash.
  24. I looked it all up. I get it more now. Thank you all.

SPOILER(I know the title already said, but whatever)

I found this and since no one brought it up, I will.

"I want to establish my own order and focus specifically on bringing Rularuu back to the here and now and pulling him out of the Shadow Shard. And since you were so helpful in getting me set up, I can see to it that Rularuu rewards you as well, if you are interested, of course. I will let you know when I am further along in my scheme if you want in on the action."-Darrin Wade

If Darrin Wade is the Dream Doctor and the Dream Doctor sealed Rularru away, then why does he want to bring him back?

Ok, I love good storyline and speculation. How do I get/ what arcs do I do to learn of the Dream Doctor.
