175% bonus damage is about all you'll ever see out of Fury in most situations. 185% facing an AV spamming alot of fast activating attacks, with 200% being the highly theoretical maximum. Brutes have a relative damage scale of .75 with a 850% cap, while Tankers have a .85 base with a 400% cap.

If you can't solo on every type of Defender, then that's a problem with YOU, not the AT. I have no problem with solo-ing any Defender.
[/ QUOTE ]
Heck, I'd bet that you could solo all Heroic content (sans Elite Bosses, those are technically small team content) using Air Superiority and nothing else.
Of course that makes the ability to solo a non-issue for balance. What matters is advancement rate while solo. Something I think Defenders tend to lag behind in, due in no small part to endurance issues. -
Venom Grenade is all Toxic, as is Bile Spray iirc. As far as I know toxic resist is rare, its just that like Psychic, when it is resisted, it tends to be resisted heavily. (Cue the robots! We've got spines incoming!)

Can't it be both?

Sure thing! Its Shrodenger's Defender! -
Congratulations! And the fastest time for a Hami raid on Victory yet, to my knowledge!
Next time consider contacting one of the operators of Hamidon-Victory global channel (Madame Pistacio) and ask to have the MoTD updated with the time of the raid so people can find out in advance. Not that that channel sees much traffic, but if it gets used more, that will change. -
Explain it? "I blame Voodoo" is one of those rare in-jokes that doesn't require an explanation. They'll think it involves dolls and pins, while you'll be smug in your knowledge it's all VoodooCompany's fault.

Can anyone prove that defenders need an across-the-board-buff?
[/ QUOTE ]
Only the Devs can 'prove' that using data mining, and then its still a fairly subjective thing. Relative advancement rate and popularity are about the only benchmarks that are reasonable to use to 'prove' that a buff is appropriate. Balance across so many aspects is an incredibly subjective thing, proving something is needed is virtually a pipe dream. Asking for proof an AT needs something is almost along the lines of asking for proof that strawberry ice cream is better than chocolate, its mostly personal preference with a bit of sales numbers none of us have to partially back up that opinion.
Better is to show mathematically that there is room for improvement without infringing upon a competing AT's territory. Show that an idea is reasonable, and leave it up to the Devs with their data, and frankly more important opinions, to decide if it is appropriate to use. -
Blues: A blaster if its a lone blue should do fine. For groups, A tanker, an Empath, and a few Blasters/Defenders. The damage isn't that impressive from these, any healing should do. What you really need is fear protection and ranged damage.
Yellows: A Regen Scrapper should be able to crush a lone yellow or even a pair. For groups, A Tanker (self healing, high regen prefered), an empath or two and a pack of Scrappers. The damage from these is beastly, as is the stun, regeneration and healing are the only ways to survive. Melee damage crushes them just fine.
You could also try a Mind controller against either for attacks that ignore the Mito's positional defense. -
Curse those KSing drones! At least we got some easy heavy kills when no one else moved away quickly.

I just ran it, it is indeed 30 merits now. Not only that, but with the functioning Temp for MMs Reichsman isn't that hard to beat. I would make sure your team has good protective buffs though to keep the ambushes from being a pain the the backside.

It's called Khhaaaaaaannn TF. I prefer Shaka Khan myself.
Won't be able to do it at that time......but good luck to the team with Cow tanking :O
[/ QUOTE ]
Fixed.Good luck with it, its not a bad TF. Bit hard to understand what's going on at times, but still pretty good. The 'Cuda SF on the other hand, stay away from till the next patch.
-
Just ran a DKTF, I noticed that the "Invulnerable" Reichsman took damage, with nothing special having been done. That is totally different than the Invulnerable Reichsman from the BSF on my last few test runs that was always "Unaffected."

Never heard of him, some of the stuff in this article about the guy is pretty stupid, but still, what some people did to him was TOTALY uncalled for. He actualy PvPed in a PvP zone. ZOMG NO WAI!!! I gotta agree, teleporting them infront of the malta bots is pretty cheap, but hey, the goal is to defeat the enemy no matter the cost, so I really cant fault him there.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, PvP zones have goals, having a drone/npc defeat someone doesn't meet a single one of them. Moreover, the Devs have stated that intentionally causing xp debt is harassment and against the TOS. Doesn't engaging in an "illegal" activity negate the entire point of his 'paper'? -
Build looks fine to me. Though I'd pull one slot out of Tough and change it to 2 end/res IOs and 1 res IO, and move the slot to Transfusion. Its only a 1% loss of s/l resists that way.
You can get Steadfast Protection kb IO in Tough, Charged Armor, or even in Increase Density.
Blessing of the Zephyr kb IO works in any travel power, even Inertial Reduction.
Karma kb IO could go in Hover.
In short, plenty of options to get the KB protection you desire. -
That's... news to me. It sounds like a bug, or poor perception of what was going on. Transfusion has a fairly big radius, are you sure that the blaster was outside of it?
-
Remember, time passes in two manners in game: by Issue and by Level. The time capsule isn't moved to city hall until after the failed attack on it in your cape mission.
However, it would be nice to see the glass box replaced with the nifty capsule from the DKTF. -
Yes, its quite viable solo. Short Circuit provides solid protection against large numbers of foes once you get SOs, and the usual Kin powers deal with the tough single foes while waiting on SC to 'win' the fight for you. Its probably not the fastest, but it does quite well against groups of enemies.

It can't be Rhode Island because of the geography. In Paragon City you have Ocean to the north. I'm not seeing anyplace in the state that would fit the same geography.
Another trick question.
If you start in Detroit and go due south, what is the first other country you will hit?
[/ QUOTE ]
Canada.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sadly, I knew that as the only time I've been out of the country was a brief visit to Windsor. I'm sooo well traveled and worldly. -
I cheated. I also was fooled by wiki's inconsistent formatting. London is larger. Not that the other way would surprise me, population and city size don't have a direct correlation.
-
Canberra, but London is far more populous.

A toggle (but only from the primary or secondary) could be set to simply continually renew the vigilence buff it provides. All toggles continually refresh.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just tossing out an alternative. If differences between primaries is an issue, Vigilence v2.MK could simply only be built by use of the Secondary. Blast sets have a lot in common, and would be easier to balance in that regard. -

Holy cow that's a lot of people. ... How many of them actually *chat* in it?
I mean... I'm in Jello Shooters where we kind of concentrate on quality nuttiness over quantity of it, and I can't even imagine that many people in one chat area... O.O We usually peak at like... 100ish on at any given time heheh.

Inactive accounts fill up spots in global channels. Popular channels tend to fill up with large numbers of inactive accounts as no one has any way to remove them. Currently the only solution is to move to a new channel or ask people to quit during the free play periods.
I don't think a simple increase in channel size will do much other than delay the inevitable. We need some way to boot inactive accounts, even a twice a year automated cleaning by the Devs would be a big help. Still, increasing member limits would be nice. So...

Come up with a stronger reason to hold the Arbiter title for something else and suggest an alternative badge title then.
Off the top of my head:
Arbiters are supposed to be above the Arachnos hierarchy, their loyalty to the organization beyond reproach. Giving away the title, even in what amounts to an honorary version, cheapens the role. Arbiter should be saved for a more meaningful use. If Going Rogue uses the idea that Villains who never change sides gain a special status (as was suggested in the Marketing survey last year), Arbiter could instead be used as an Accolade, granted for remaining a villain and gaining several hard won badges that show repeated loyalty to Arachnos.
Instead the badge for "Thus Spoke the Reichsman" could be Tyrant's Fist, Bane of the Reich, or something else appropriate for defeating this powerful foe.
