Since there is a patch today, I was wondering if those 10 extra merits made their way into the build. I cannot seem to find mention of it in the last couple of patch notes.

Can't hurt to ask, right?

If it were me, and if I were wondering such a thing, I'd PM Horatio and ask politely about it.


If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I just ran it, it is indeed 30 merits now. Not only that, but with the functioning Temp for MMs Reichsman isn't that hard to beat. I would make sure your team has good protective buffs though to keep the ambushes from being a pain the the backside.

Ran it as well.

1. 30 merits = better
2. MM Temp power working =much better!
3. Massive armada of nigh endless ambushes.....NOT Better

I still wonder if the ambushes in that last mish need to be looked at and scaled back a notch.

I took T_J's advice and got confirmation. It seems like they revamped it a bit too.

It's three waves of ambushes, but for some reason, our Stalker did not get access to the wave killer computer. It's still not too hard. You want hard, the Longbow ambushes in the Cap SF. That's totally ridiculous. These guys are pansies by comparison.

You kiddin' me? I love the endless waves of murder and mayhem. My Crabbie had his day in the sun keeping those ambushes back! AOE FTW!

We figured out great way to handle it.

Take 4 Corrupters, Rad & Dark will be great, they debuff Reich, you then IGNORE Reich, thats right, Ignore him.

Then handle the 1000 man Ambush, Its great with 4 Corrs dropping those Sand Tornados+AOE from everyone. Best way to get Salvage Drops, Purp Recipes, & Recipes in general & Cash of course.

Yeah, I used to think this SF is **** , which I still partly do.

But one can do ITF, LGTF, LRSF so many times till it starts to taste like wood.

Done this SF once on test and few times on live servers, just hoping the merit changes go into the live build ASAP so there is a valid reason to run this SF more often.

The plot may be stupid, but fighting 5th Column is something "fresh" compared to waves of Cimerorans and Rikti.
