  1. ...ROFL.

I am a Virtueite, but a roleplayer none the less.

But I agree, Incarnatedom should not be detectable, for those that go that path.

...I'd type more but I'm tired. xD
  2. I sort of use in-game PVE to judge my character.

In the form of how I handle AVs. Due to his magic and the Battle Mage armors Shade wears, he can stand up to just about any AV defensively, for a bit.

I say that he's either had luck or he is as powerful, if not stronger then: Chimera, Romulus Augustus, Hro'Dthoz, Requiem, Countess Crey. But its all hooplah because I haven't found good textfighting buds on Virtue ._.
  3. *Name: The Global Aegis

*Currently Recruiting: We are looking for new members.

RP Level: /sg and /coalition (when we get one XD) are IC unless noted.

PvP Level: Casual -- From time to time we may have fun in this.

*Theme/Concept: The Global Aegis is a government-funded heroic group. They are heroes of all the heroic sort, staying under rule and law to make sure what is done is best for the world. They fit into golden/silver ages type of characters, but can be modern, bronze, and such.

*Activity: 3+ members on, with our low membership at the moment.

    Requirements for Membership:
1.) Iconic Characters -- They are a symbol for something, be it justice, honor, etc.

2.) Originality - We don't want blatant rip offs of Green Lantern, Batman, Thor, etc. Be original, we love this.

3.) Activity - Be on at least twice a week, unless our leaders are informed.

*Leadership: Shadeknight -- Specialist Azul -- Bloodbade

    *In-Game Contact(s): @The Hopebringer -- @Fiaryn -- @Indignant Dreamer

    *Out-of-Game Contact(s): ShadowWings, aka me!

    URL: N/A, working on it.

    Coalition(s): None...however:
We are looking for like-minded individuals for a closed coaliton of heroic supergroups. Vigilante-ish groups may apply, perhaps. Otherwise, that is it on this section.

Other Details: Nothing much is going on, at the moment. However, starting soon we will have a weekly AE arc with a villain from someone's rogue gallery or the group's overall rogue's gallery appears in it as the big bad guy, or something akin to that.
  4. True, Raven.

I won't do anything beyond Alpha Slot until we get to the real higher sets. Which will probably be I21 - I30 spaced. Lol
  5. ...I wish I was on the EU servers, sometimes.

    But neat.

My scrapper, Shade, will also be able to harnass a bit more magic (I like to have multiple versions of my characters, atleast 2 ._.) which will be played off when I can get his other three versions up to 50 x_x.
  6. I am curious, how will you explain Incarnate-ship for your character(s)?

I have a few toons I'll be 'incarnating' in I19.

Shadeknight - Hes mastered his magic and his new 'fusion' with the spirit that once guided him. Hes essentially just the strongest he'll ever reach. I'll be going with the damage Alpha Slot for this.

Legionbreaker - His full power has been unsealed, he is now much stronger upon the mortal plane (Damage Alpha Slot).

Those are the main two, so far. Basic ideas, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone is going to stray off the story path of the story arc, etc.
  7. Oh mah gawd, thank you so much <3.

The charming gentleman with the cajun accent, Christopher is a man of his word and of very few words at that. The cajun CEO is a intelligent and charismatic man, with the ability to inspire his co-workers to work their best and for others to do the same even if they don't work for him. He is known to be a bit crafty / cunning when it comes to debates or fights, to which he seems to know a few tricks or two. There is also the generous / kind side to Christopher, to which he'll give some money out, sometimes all that's in his wallet at that time. Never has Christopher shown to be a angry type, always calm and smiling.

But under the moniker of Shadeknight, he is blank of emotions. He seems to remain calm and always on guard. Shadeknight is serious, never joking around. His nature is to be the hard hitter, so he cuts to the chase, never letting time go for long enough to distract him. On most times, he is silent except for one line that is his trademark.

    <3 Cashoo.

  9. Shadeknight is married to:

Widow Autumn / Tamu Raynes (Use the right half for reference).

    Another reference is

    I've been decent, heh.

Got another similar thing being made. This time without Guru and those guys.
  11. Heh. Didn't you join the opposite group as your controller?

    Or am I mistaking names?

I was known as Maestoso Tuono when I first lead it.

    Agreed.

I ran the hero opposite to them.

And regret it to this day.

  13. Shadeknight II .

One of four spandex costumes I've made for him.
  14. ...That bottom pumpkin smiling gives me a whole slew of lol's, in a good sense.

    Love the art, Cyrsei
  15. Sure, Nal. I am looking to expand myself back into greater amounts of roleplaying before I move on.(I quit the game in 2011, sometime in that year).

http://virtueverse.net/wiki/Shadeknight_II -- My character. Hes basically a amalgram between Batman and Doctor Strange, with other hints / inspirations from Gambit and Superman.

But yeah, I'd love to help.

Thats kinda what happens when you take a name I formerly had XD. Even though I did free it up.

    ...And I don't, anymore. :<
  17. Well, I'll be short:

PERC has been a major let down about 3 times in a row, maybe even more, on our server. As for the complaining about rigged, Infinity, it wasn't that.

It was the fact that the reps did (to them) a horrible job.
  18. o_o. Niiice.

I like the one you got from Daggerpoint and all your art your making now, heh.
  19. -3 out of the 8 AT's must be Tanks, Brutes, or Scrappers (Any combination is allowed, and you can have more- but 3 is minimum)
-Your team must have at least 1 Defender
-You cannot have ANY duplicate AT-Power Combo's (That means no 4 Fire/Kins or Fire/Rads x4)

    1. Dark/Shield Scrapper
    2. Dech's Dark/Fire Tank
    3. Elec/Shield Scrapper
    4. Rad/Rad Defender
    5. Emp / Psi Defender
    6. Fire / Kin Controller
    7. Dark/Dark Defender
    8. Cold / Rad Defender

    ...Could be an optimal team.

The remaining player base on virtue dosen't rppvp because our game is built up in cliques with different sg's demanding all the other sg's realize how awesome they are. People are too used to doing rp plots were mary su generic characters win everything, because of this most rpers are way too afraid to lose.

The complaints about the new system are moot at this point, it's been almost two years since i13 was launched people have had that long to prepare new builds and try pvping again. In a game known for it's quick leveling it's a joke for anyone to complain they don't have the build to pvp or their characters concept dosen't fit. Roll a new toon if you want to pvp and get a different concept. Yes pvp has changed, get over it.
Partially true and partially assumptions. But thats my perspective.

It isn't just because of Mary Sues or Gary Stu, but because PVP is something that is mixed for the RPers. Some like(liked) it, like the Sadistic Seven, Abyss Empire (Boy were they a challenge), and others. But some avoid PVP like it is a plague.

Cliques will ALWAYS happen in a game. People are just that bad.

As for the builds part: Not everyone wants to be LAWLUBAR with PVP. As I said, PVP as a topic is mixed point for Virtue's RP community. For some people, PVP just doesn't work out for them, one way or another.

Personally, I don't mind my character getting beat. He is strong, but not lolgod strong. He can take on some AVs solo, but those ones are probably weak against his power sets >_>.
  21. ShadowWings

    RP?

Unfortanately, Mondo will be gone a while.

He can't pay for his account.

But we have time to man the defenses!
  22. I make PVE builds and PVP with them. 90% of the time I get wrecked -shrug-. But I haven't done any RP-PVP because it irks me that people do PVP builds while being a RPer. I dunno, just a little insult to injury in some fashion.

But I don't mind PVP, just that little bit above I mentioned. If I could make a decent PVP build within my RP characters, then meh. But I do want more RPvP with good storyline and stuff, that'd make it interesting and have you actually think things through on how your character reacts.

EX: I don't pick fights with any sets that will chew through my defense and accuracy like a bullet through flesh. Mostly Dark Miasma.
  23. I'm praying for myself *cough* 1 billion sounds nice for my Thug/Dark MM or my SS/WP Brute, lol.
  24. Do we just show up, or is there a sign up site like the last two (or so) runs of this?
  25. ...Goblin, you are a costume goddess.
