Glad you're enjoying it here on Virtue! I have to admit, I've been prone to a spot of perching in Atlas Park and watching the new characters roll in and each time I do, I'm pleasantly surprised.
There's a lot, and I do mean a LOT of creativity on this server. Draw inspiration from it, and even if you decide not to join in on the madness that is the unofficial RP server? You'll always be in for a good story to read!

I have to agree. I'm (relatively) recent to Virtue, I came over last year during the server transfers, and I've only been lightly involved with the RP, but... every time I try to be part of this community, it's almost daunting, looking around at all the other amazing storylines and thinking "Man, I wish I'd been part of that!"
Ice/Ice Blaster. Dedication to concept is an ugly thing.

Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.

Even if all I'm doing is hanging out at Wents checking my traps, I *always* see at least one character or read one bio that makes me go "wow, COOL".
Virtue is the server where most people spend more time on their bio and costume than a random farmer on Freedom spent hitting 'random' and getting PL'ed to 50. *
*nothing against farmers, but most of them care as much about how they look as I do about what salvage costs =P

You roll a new character, start the tutorial and almost immediately spot someone with a cooler name & cossie also running it

I am at a brief period of relative burnout -- or more importantly, any time I look at a character, all I can think is how much better they'd be either "if only I had Stamina" or "if only I had three more power picks". (One or the other.)
So I just spent a good twenty minutes in WW looking at costumes, and looking at bios. The bios are great. They're full of variety. Some are really funny. Some are pretty serious. Every bio I read looked like someone had put time and effort into trying to make a character interesting. Even the people without bios often had really great costumes.
This is a pretty awesome server. It's not just that I keep meeting friendly people, it's that even the people I never talk to are, more often than not, making the game more fun to play.
