Based upon what exactly?
They are making these pieces from scratch to give to players, not really sure why they would purposefully make them unable to be colored.
edit: I thought you could color (some of?) the villain helmets. can anyone confirm? I thought I remember changing the "lights" on the wolf helm. -
I think they are actually going to be individual pieces which attach to the half helm. This is based upon the concept art which looks like the half helm (regular for states and warrior(?) for recluse) with a detail 1 and detail 2 attachment. That is just a pet theory though. Either way, I think it will be colorable.

Storm. Great for all situations.

Sounds like they are just trying to get rid of you. Devs really really really need to look at this. Customer Service isn't doing there job (and for all I know, they don't have the resources to properly assess the situation).

Things like producers letters tend to go in and out of production. I feel like they keep us pretty well informed lately with the intrepid informers.

This is why I think it should be a per character purchase (on a part of the character using the summon). So you design a character from the ground up with that plan that it will be summoning one of your alts.

From the sound of people in this thread, they would have liked to vote with their dollar concerning the price of storage items as well.
-
So the ninja run is 500 points and the Martial Arts Super Booster including ninja run is 400 points. Is the price point for the latter permanent or is it just for Black Friday?

Quote:Haha. I even checked Paragonwiki and ingame to make sure i wasn't just going insane.U
-Edit: Bah, beaten. S'what I get for double and triple checking, and pondering whether I should even post or not...
They should really change the icon though, none of those pieces are/should be included in that pack. -
In that preview icon, those are samurai pieces, not ninja/warrior pieces. The samurai stuff is a vet reward.

These consumables should never go back up to their full price.

Quote:^This^ Cape and Aura global unlock purchases are the best thing in the store. Own them.A few days ago, I purchased the cape and aura unlocks. I don't want to say how long it took me to find those, either, it's just embarrassing. When I couldn't find it in any of the categories that seemed logical to me, I used the search "capes, unlock" - and found myself back to pages and pages of capes that come from costume sets that I already own. *sigh*
I finally found it, but could not tell you where. And the thing is, they were really cheap. 180pp apiece, which I think is a fabulous deal! Real money, that's what - $2.00?
Do I think others out there would be buying this in droves? Yes, I do. But it's hard as heck to find, even when you know exactly what you're looking for. It's only via forum discussion that I understood that this purchase worked on ALL my characters. Forever. That, for around two bucks, I would never have to spend an hour traipsing all over the city on street hunt after street hunt, trying to find Rikti monkeys in Crey's Folly who won't kill me ('cause that is a seriously depressing thing, getting offed by stoopid MONKEYS!), and ending up on rocks outside frigging Terra Volta, to find the only DE I know of I can defeat on a level 30 squishy.
I wonder how many other gems I've bypassed? I really do wonder... but not enough to try to navigate the store again for awhile. -
Quote:Yeah, honestly, I had no idea how the windfall worked until yesterday. Even the store doesn't say which drops it works with. People on the forums suggested that it also works with Incarnate shards for example, which would make them much more appealing. I think I might have one from my vet rewards, might try it out.Really? I had no idea that was how this functioned. I've been under the impression that they were one use vouchers, like the kind you can get with incarnate merits.
*grumble* Someone in marketing somewhere is doing a terrible job at clearly conveying information in a manner that is easily accessible.
Also, since we are giving store feedback, when I claimed my enhancement unslotters from vet rewards, I had to relog between using each one. I found it rather annoying. -
It is 2400. I guess it's not a big deal, but Peace Bringers in Dwarf Form get very close to that. With Dwarf Form + Essence Boost, you go quite a bit over (about 400 over on my current build). Maybe that is intentional, I just think they should have a HP cap closer to Brute/Tank given Dwarf Form. I probably should have explained myself in the last post.

I really like this kind of promotion.
Are the helmets a single unit or are they attachments onto the half-helmet? (even from the concept art, they look like the latter) -
Quote:I would prefer it as a per character purchase (on the part of the summoning character, not the summoned character). For most players, that would be a fairly highly repeatable prospect. But yeah, this will be a server resource drain as it has to access the character database and pull out a Doppelganger version of a stored character. Which is why it's a good idea for a repeatable purchase. You might be a drain when you summon it, but you're paying up front to do it. It'd be funny if everyone summoned an alt during a Mothership Raid, though.
Also, it would have the flavor of having an real, in-game sidekick. -
Okay, I have already expressed my desire to cast a vote with my dollar in another thread. I hereby pledge to immediately buy $50 in paragon points if the decision is made to make costumes and IOs in the upcoming super packs non-exclusive in a meaningful way (not just in-game trading or a vague promise of future availability in the store or some capacity like celestial armor sets). In addition, I will spend $10 of those points on something immediately which is neither costumes nor powerset, as I have all of those but the fireman hat and backpack (perhaps a global costume slot unlock, but if you guys can convince me to get a temp power, I might even do that).
I just want to support the game on my own terms. -
I will add one other constructive post to this thread.
I, personally, would be okay with exclusive costume pieces in the super packs on the one condition that when the super packs are released, a reasonable release date (no more than 2-3 months later) and reasonable price (equivalent to current costume costs) is also announced when the costume pieces will be made available as store purchases. By this I mean that I would be okay if people who bought super packs got a preview of costume pieces I can buy at a somewhat later date for a reasonable price. I speak for myself alone with this suggestion.
