I used to play with a rpg group every Sat. - now that I have moved, CoX is a life saver. I need the social interaction (moved to a new state, not working and don't particularly want to be on the PTA - so my contact for adult conversations is limited).

I think that MMO's are stable and will continue to be here. Mainstream tourists (its a fad) will leave, but there will be other to replace them, or they will get hooked. But just because MMO's are stable, doesn't mean that the old stuff is going to fade away. American society is all about entertainment.

I'm just glad I have the option of playing board games, console games, Pen & paper games and MMO's. Wee I can have it all! (now I just need to find the time to be able to do it all)

I do what I want to do and if someone doesn't like it, too bad.

The people I really care about either understand and are addicted too, or don't care what my hobby is as long as its not snorting coke or something.

I am not against SG modes and honestly until I do see something from a dev about it, I'm not going to worry about it overly much. Here are my concerns I do have though.

1. Multiple SG groups. For instance my main SG actually has 3 groups due to the size. How will the data mining affect that?

2. Alts. I have one toon in each of the above SG's and several alts who I play who are not due to limited space. Even though I run them with the SG. So these toons won't count towards prestige? Hrmphf.

3. I am not happy when my membership is not happy and I know there are people out there who don't like the SG colors or symbol or just don't want to switch because of character concept. I would never insist on my members running SG colors except when we are doing a recruiting drive or participating in an event.

Not true, I often slot enhancements I have gotten from a drop. I would rather run lots of missions and spend time playing the game than shopping and making sure my enh are always green.

I also give away SO's to people on my team who are the same origin all the time .

Interesting concept for the contacts stuff. Of course the solo'r would complain :P Making them interact with the rest of the community - what are you thinking

I don't like to play PvP. I love playing PvE. I am sincerely disgusted that the devs statement of PvP will not effect PvE has been hit with the nerf bat.

PvE powers HAVE been changed due to PvP.

While I agree that some things needed balancing, ATs are NOT made to be equal. Smart players should be allows to figure out how to accomplish things by blending powers. Those who don't think outside of the box need to [censored] and quick crying nerf. If you are upset because someone learned how to balance their powers within their AT, then copy them.

Im sorry but I'm heartily sick of the whining I constantly see on the boards and in the game.

Learn to be a better player don't bash the ones who figured it out before you.

I keep having peeps disappear off my global friends list and I keep disappearing off other peeps lists. I laugh everytime I get reinvited to be someones global friend esp. when they invited me the day before and I said yes.

Also, I agree on the hide - you can still see someone on in the Global Channel if they are hidden. Is there a fix?

Sometimes ya just gotta hide or you never get to play the game
