The chains across the chest give the impression of strength and power. The cape hides all that. Lose the cape and replace it with the gladiator shoulderpad. Or maybe a half cape. Or both. -

Considering our allegedly similar tastes, you already stated you like this game because it's allegedly a "beat 'em up." If so, show me the combo of buttons on the Martial Arts set that allows me to throw a Hadoken.
The game is a MMORPG. That's why it's a sandbox world with interlocking storylines and trivial lore. It's supposed to feel like a real world where a bunch of stuff is happening, already happened, and will happen. You take the role of your character (thus the RPG part) and intreract with the world around you. For all hints and purposes, you are that character until you log off. -

Was an ok episode. I guess this was their attempt at a halloween story line, but frankly it was kinda terrible. Now if they just wanted to say that there were deposites of blueK around from the metor and that clark was going in and out of having powers as a result i wouldnt have minded so much, but to have the people infected with it from the water, i didnt care for.
Be intresting to see if they really have plans for Lex this year, or are they just attempting to bring him back from the dead in order to make sure that his iconic villian is not dead at the end of the last season. -
Well, I for one ADORE RPGs. And one thing I'm always looking for in the market of RPGs whether they be electronic or pen and paper table top is original ideas and that's why I'm here. CoH is original as it was the first super hero MMORPG in a market saturated with electronic clones of Dungeons & Dragons. While I heartily enjoy playing D&D on the table top, I'm weary of market oversaturation.
CoH has enough trivial lore to keep me decently hooked and I wouldn't change it for less in any way. I haven't made a single character that doesn't have a bio. -
It's very obvious: Sam doesn't like RPGs and thus shouldn't be playing them. Unfortunately, CoH is a MMORPG.

ill take many of the episodes of both Voyager and Enterprise over Abrahms' version of Trek. yeah, the ending of both series were craptacular. but there more than a handful of decent episodes during each season on both shows. for Nemesis, all i can say is that it wasn't that bad. it just wasn't that good.

Yes, Sam, I do require it. The lore of this game is a good part of why I enjoy it. I say this because I come from a tabletop RP background. I was bored to tears if the only thing the DM had to offer was hack 'n slash.

Plenty of die-hard fanbois already think J.J. Abrams "ruined" Star Trek with his reboot.
The idea that he could be involved in "ruining" Indiana Jones with another reboot would be epic.
At the very least it would solidify his Hollywood reputation for being the killer of childhood dreams...
