Bah, I'm with Forbin on this. Flying inside missions? Don't you... y'know... bump into the architecture? I know I do when I make that quick retreat during the timed escape in the end of the villainside Protean mission.

I guess that counts their experiment a success.

Ha, I really like this one. Armitage really did strike me as being this crazy guy with his wild claim that he's from the future. "You've got to stop the Rikti from conquering the world! I came back to tell you how to do it!"
-
Yeah, really; I see higher numbers on my Frankenslotted IOs.

Quote:Yeah, for just a few seconds. It looks cool though. I might decide to use that for a few characters I make in the future. You can see said hover board @8:03ish here: http://youtu.be/YMnt5XcbmE0

Quote:Wow, it's been a long time since I last read that history. In the "Globalism and the 90's" section of the history backgrounders.
Quote:I'd have to check with Paragon Wiki to be sure, but I think that the history plaques also make a brief, oblique reference to it.
Quote:Oh, I have no doubt that it was Crey that did it. I've posted my own take on the situation a couple of times upstream already. Still, it's all speculation at the current time and has to be treated as such when talking about what it all means. -
Quote:Exactly where is that said? No, the explanation I referred to is the explanation for the rise in super-villain crime in cities that contract out to Hero Corps.
Quote:The Crey connection to Hero Corps is pretty well limited to Paragon City and then (ignoring the possibility that Crey Tanks were the armored raiders that razed HC Paragon) only after they were threatening to pull out of Paragon City. If Crey has anything to do with them now that they're back in town, we haven't heard about it. -
Quote:Technically, Crey IS Hero Corps' Villain "Corp."Well, you just explained why there aren't any Hero Corp story arcs. /shrug
I suppose that the story could be that you prove once and for all that there is NOT any corruption and, in fact, that Hero Corp has a shadowy nemesis, Villain Corp, that has been deliberately targeting them all of these years. heh -
Yeah, Hero Corps seems to be a pretty legit corporation. Crey's attempts to take them over should not be seen as a "taint" in Hero Corps, as they're pretty much the victims at this point.
I'd love to see some story arcs that revolve around Hero Corps and Crey's attempts to snatch them into its web. -
Y'know, more tights patterns and textures couldn't hurt. Hell, the patterns alone kind of help spice up some of that metallic armor too.
Thankfully, in Issue 21, it does look like we're getting a new texture for tights. So everyone wins anyway. -
YOU are rude all the time. You're needlessly snarky and insulting and downright patronizing in just about every post you make and you have the gall to tell another person "to not be rude?" Are you freaking kidding me? Can it be really that possible to be so insurmountably arrogant?

Quote:Well, considering that the idiot playing him was playing him like a tanker....That blaster was so going to faceplant in the trailer, but they ended it. Tutorial zone looks vastly more difficult than what we currently have.
Seriously, blasters should not grab that much aggro. -
Quote:Really? Time Warp from Rocky Horror and some mediocre melody from some fighting game? My word....I thought of this instead...

Well, since we're choosing who should voice who, put in my vote for Laurence Fishburn as Dark Watcher.
-
Was another step added to character creation really necessary?
-
-
Well, you probably should since it's the original thread about the teaser images. I would kind of expect any new teaser images to show up in the thread that started the topic.

-
On that note, I'd love to find out what Hero 1's Praetorian counterpart is like.
-
I say, if we ever finally go up against Rularuu himself (and actually fix whatever makes such a gigantic mob problematic to fight in the mechanics), that should be pretty epic.

There's also the Valkyrie wings from the Valkyrie pack. They're rather feathery (with armor).
