    We'll need bigger personal inventories too - right now, we can hold way more base salvage on our avatars than we can hold Invention salvage.

  5. if it were me i would keep the personal salvage system the way it is and open the current salvage racks so they hold invention salvage that way it allows people to donate to the base storage same way as before without giving up there personal stash as well

    dosnt change the fact i still think this is a bad idea for bases instead of making things easyer for smaller groups i realy do think it is gona make it harder for them

    That has been my biggest gripe with the base builder from day 1.

    Why on earth they couldnt have put an off map storage area in it to avoid that problem is beyond me.

    that has always been one of the bigest gripes with the base editer the inability to save constructed stuff especial if you have an sg member who makes something useful but places it in a very anoying or stupid place you either need to [censored] about for hours or delete it and make it again

    im having to agree here i have both a maestro and master card availible to me and recently i have actuly found myself using the maestro because of how easy it actuly is to use and rack transactions.

    as has been stated in other threads no other online service and because of my work i actuly use alot of online stores and make alot of online transactions i know that only plaync are having these problems so i would love to know how all the other thousands of companys were able to resolve issues with these changes ant plaync werent because it is alienating a huge amount of the player base



    and after properly reading the hole thread an idea ocured to em making things like extra slots availible to buy and aply with codes would make it possible for things like these to be given as gifts and promotionals by everybody form the media in general to sg's for competitions or server events so its not a completely bad idea to work round the problems

    first of all the bad news its not 250 kills its 750 kilss dark lords have been working on it for a long time now and its slow going considering most of the group are pve based

    and as far as we (we being dark lords and coalition) have figured any pvp kill at all counts towrds the badge just as long as the kill is in sg mode. and youve raised an interesting question about it havent actuly atempted to kill to a free for all killing each other to get the badge (the zones warburg) might try and scrape together some members and try it over the weekend
  9. the big issue about the thefts isnt realy trust altho thats a huge facter its ben the fact that to allow somebody access to just something simple like the insp bins the haave access to ravage the hole suply so you are limited on how you let them build up trust

    and witht the change to the salvage system this is going to make that harder i for one would like to limit our salvage bins so only the top two ranks can remove from them without asking but by doing that we limit access to the things like enhancements and insps somethng that we honestly dont bother to much about coz only takes a couple of days to replace those suplys

    but in all honesty untill a ful list of mods to the base is released this conversation/ argument is kinda mute the devs have known for a long time now people are unhappy with the access system as is im just hoping thats one of the things they have looked at for us maybe ghost or pal can chime in at some point and let us know if there is more base goodness to be anounced with i13 or not
  10. what im hopein to see is an increase in the invention salvage drop rate to replace the losss off base salvage but i still think its a bad idea i can see alot of issues especialy for smaller sgs getting members to hand over salvage for the base to build itself but im holding out hope as the devs have been making alot of atention to details lately fixing lots of small issues to make the game a better place so imhopeing they have properly thought this thru before getting to this point
  11. there was a coment in ne of the recent interviews with posi where its mentioned about doing away with base salvage and completly replacing it with invention salvage not seen it confirmed anywhere else im just hopeing the sort out the storage situation at the same time or its going to creat even more issues with salvage theft and complants over storage than there already has been

    altho i dont agree with forcing members to be in sg mode all there toons life thats my personal opoinion and how i rum my own sg's

    if the sg rules are that you need sg mode on always then it cant be considered bad form for removing a toon that broke the rules and simple fact is do you realy wont to be with an sg that considers its ability to earn above its members

    Also if a sg leader (highest rank in a sg) is a leader in the team you are in you can enter thier sg's base. I've done this several times to help people with either advice or opinions on their bases

  20. nowi havent added mine up so i dont know the cost but i will run down what ive payed for just to make you feel a lil better there zortel and should show the lvl of my insanity

    two us acounts from there bata launch untill 6month ago thats delauxe boxes then GvE packs and weding packs for both acounts then villians collecters editions for both then same again for EU side from day of launch with the second acount getting closed when they introduced being able to by more slots and ive filled union with as mansy i can buy for that so that should add up to a nice lil carry out
  21. lo there tir, as a mm there isnt realy a bad duo partner just tell them to stay close to the pets and leg it leaving the pets to die if it all gos pair shaped been both the squishy meat and the mm in that kind of duo can be alot of fun.

    but when in doubt grab a solo lobee for some sk/lhy action normaly somebody illing to tag along for some fun and action

  24. while soome people do think there is a problem with the current sk system you have to amdit that the majority think it works just fine the way it is the fact that i actuly cant rememebr a single thread complaning about it in the past and ive been registered to the forums since cov launch and part of the game since heros launch says to me the bulk of the forumites atleast dont have a problem with the curent system

    now my problem with the auto mentoring is it would interfear with the difficulty machanic of the game this alows you to up the rep of a mission raising the oponant lvl of a mission to make it more challanging by increasing the lvl of the bad guys withing the mission the obviouse example being a lvl 50 mission with lvl 53 bad guys, the auto mentoring system you sugest would then override that tryed and testing method of play and either limit the bad guys to lvl 50 ot up everybody to lvl 52 if it didtn make those changes then you can be dam sure that auto mentoring would encourage pling because there would be no need to find 4 50s to make a decent pl team only 2 a granit and a kin is the most obvouse set up then the reast of the team could sit back and soak up all that lovely lvl 53 xp goodness

    while at first thought it dose sound like a good idea when you sit down and go over the other existing game mechanics in placce as well as the general concept of the game you relise that it would coz more problems than it would solve and have a very good chance of anoying a very large amount of the player base
  25. just reading back on this thread there and i think this would be my finaly arguement pooint or what ever for this one since the pots went up this thread only had 3 responces one of which was mine where the villian side had 15 which included a small discusion the fault dosnt lie with the event the event was doomed from the start for the heros as nobody this side took up the tourch and the post count shows there wasnt alot of interest this side in general
