What is the best way to unlock a power and what is the best way to get incarnate salvage?
-
I want my slots unlocked already, stupid school!
-
Is there a list some where that has all of the interface powers and descripts? Paragon wiki hasn't updated yet...
-
I just have one question, do you feel lucky?
-
Quote:Adapt and evolve your build. My suggestion, open a thread in the scrapper section and start building for 59% defense. You can do it!Congratulations Paragon Studios. You just made one of my Invulnerability Scrappers powers completely pointless, and IMO made her completely piontless too.
Which one? Invincibility. It's pretty much a 'must take' for any invuln character as it provides a good chunk of your Defence and also gives you a nice little to hit boost. Well tonight I ran a lambda trial. And I got creamed repeatedly. Ad I don't mean I died a bit and got annoyed or I died 5 or 6 times. I managed to rack up a full quantity of debt on my level 50 scrapper within 20 minutes. Yes she has tier 4 and yes she has a few sets through her build but she's not softcapped (and I don't see why she should have to be either if the Dev's continue with their 'IO's are optional, we haven't made the game any tougher' mantra) but she was completely useless. Her major points are S+L Resistance which is next to useless thanks to all the fire and energy flying around, she has very little ranged defence which for a melee based character who should be 'in there' shouldn't be a necessity either. Basically she's now completely pointless and incredibly painful to play on the Incarnate trials. I feel like giving up on her and she used to be my favourite character. The trial should be difficult yes, but IMo they've taken it too far. it suits some characters perfectly and practically encourages people to softcap, simple because just about any level of resistance is utterly pointless.
Congratz Pragon, you just relegated one of my favourite to 'No i don't want to play her on this, she'll spend more time face down and in the hospital than fighting' league. -

Quote:Patience!? Who has that anymore?Being patient is the most important thing - I ran 7 Trials today, 4 Lambda, 3 BAF, and I'm 0 from 7
I found it was a good idea to get people to check their Incarnate window so they could see the progress they were making on the new slots, so they wouldn't feel they weren't getting anywhere.
I also tried to emphasize that the main thing was to learn how the Trials worked - I think it's more important to work out what to do before you work on actually winning them - like let people see how the prisoners escape, or where the blind spot is to fight the AVs out of the way of the turrets, or the size of the Lambda Sector interrior maps, and how the acid grenades work to stop the reinforcements.
Getting people comfortable with what they're doing will help coordination, and it'll also help spread the knowledge to other first time Trial runners. -

Quote:There is no such thing as learn to play, everything has to be easy. I want instant gratification out of this game. I'm paying money so the devs have to give ME what I want.Doable on beta. It's called "learning how to play" rather than be "spoonfed the same gruel" year after year.

I'll be working toward my destiny slot. The extra defense will be need unless I really want to aim for 59% which would destroy my damage output.

There are quite a few Fire/Shield builds floating around if you search
-
So do you guys remember that "Apex" build that I made for Murcielago? Yeah I20 is why lol
-
I was under the assumption that Judgement's damage is unenhanceable.
-
Same here, school is beating me into submission. Murcielago has been standing next to Mender Ramiel for 3 days now. I'm pretty sure he's getting tired of hearing the same information about Incarnates by now.

Quote:There is always a roll for a *insert AT here* no matter the circumstances. If you haven't read up yet, check out this long, but excellent description of the first 5 Incarnate slots by dispari. Then look at Judgement. As an example, we have:
Pyronic:
Base stats:
428.36 damage
80 foot range
Targeted AoE
25 foot radius
16 targets max
AoE, fire
1.00 activation time
20.00 endurance
That's base damage. T4 w/T4 Musculature will do over 700 pts of damage. W/no crash. From range. W/a 24 target cap.
It's also not scaled for ATs. Which means if defenders do the same damage, but can debuff the crap out of their foes first, they win. Scrappers & tanks w/far superior defenses doing the same AoE damage: win. Controllers are already win machines, and they just get more win (at least no containment, but does that mean no defiance for blasters?).
Granted, it has an unenhanceable 90s recharge. On a team of 8, all w/Judgement, who notices? For long term AoE DPS, will blasters still be king? I *think* so, but the gap will be shrinking, mightily.
Similar arguments may be made for other ATs as we get massive buffs, debuffs, pets, and likely crowd control in the future as well. I still think the AoE damage gap is closed the most w/the addition of the Judgement slot.
And yes, this is 45+ content only, so 1-44, blasters will still rule the damage game, but as we have more and more end-game focused content, I can see less need (insofar as any AT is "needed") for a blaster going forward.
Thoughts? Cries of Dooooooom? Or are we just happy to get more fireballs? -
I agree that Musculature is the way to go for claws/sr.

-
I thought MG required only 234% in order to run that chain...
-
In Soviet Russia game grinds you!

Optimal for what? Endurance usage, damage output, least recharge? Gaidin is alive!!!
