Quote:*Raises hand*And as to why 6.66% resistance bugs me more than all the other stuff... I could get into that, but do you really care? REALLY? Can anyone honestly tell me that you'd like to sit down and read through what will probably end up being five paragraphs expositing the finer points of what bugs me by how much in comparison to what else? Seriously? Because I can do that. I just don't believe anyone actually wants to know.
I would. I would really like to try and understand your take on this because I really do not get it. -
Heh. Personally, I love those guys down there. I always feel a little bad about beating 'em up when they're just trying to do their respec, but eh. *shrugs*

Quote:Why?Maybe not necessarily Christianity as a source, but it's definitely a reference to religion (if it is intentional, that is). 666 is the number of the beast, aka the number of the devil. For a set that already leans heavily towards magic with the sigils it displays on summoning and upgrading, it really doesn't need to work any more references in than that. I, myself, went with a rather basic concept of a pretty much traditional demon, just with unorthodox motivation (and in the shape of a little child) whom I made Natural for reasons that don't bear discussing, but if I wanted to go with, say, a Technology or Science Mastermind, that little reference (if it's intentional) WOULD bug me.
It's a number. Which you didn't even know existed. Which you can't even see unless you hunt for it.
When there's all of what you mentioned as well, this single figure is what bugs you? Not the name "demon"? Not the summoning? Not the "magical sigils" and what not? Not the "Hellfire Whip" you get along with them? -
100% is 100% not 100.
Even if you had 200 END, it'd still take it all. -
If it was related to that bug, you may not be able to reproduce it since that bug was fixed in today's patch.

Marauder's lookin' spiffy and the Syndicate looks pretty cool.
C'mon beta! -
I agree.
Talking with Dean has been one of the most enjoyable contact interactions I've ever had in this game.
That what's the clone look like bit and all the high fives had me laughing all the way. And that he's a guy who knows you're tough and can kick his butt and so he plays it safe (stupid, but safe) and doesn't try to back stab ya.
I loves ya, Dean. High-fives! -
My Mace/Inv Brute's clone turned out to be Umbral Blast/Storm.
A pretty awesome sounding combo, but he got pwned by Ajax. -

Meh. Old information is old.

If this is what we get for giving out VEATs at 20, well, hell, we should've done it years ago!
This thread not only well be gone to the Americans, it came back with souvenirs.
Seriously though: the lack of DDR for VEATs is intended. It's not gonna change. -
Quote:It's always been that good. Was it always that good or did it get some love in a patch somewhere along the line?
It's just that before accurate numbers were easily available, everyone did go by those descriptions. And those, even at the best of times, were never that good. -

Quote:Issue 3 changed it.That is a change, I forget which issue added it. You still need one on each side, but now you don't need them on each server.
Because you never needed to have a 50 on a server in order to make an EAT on that server. Hitting 50 on a Hero unlocked Kheldians for the entire account. Same for a 50 Villain unlocking VEATs for everywhere.
It was always that if you had a 50 Hero on Freedom, you could make a Kheld on Virtue. -
Dear OP,
Sorry you don't feel special any more.
Love,
Rush

Damage-wise, Energy Blast is middle of the road in both single-target and AoE: Not too good, not too bad.
What it does have is lots of mitigation. The knockback in it is greatly underestimated for how much survivability it can add to a character. -

Given the choice of either Touch of Fear or Resilience, I'd take ToF any day of the week.
ToF comes with a pretty substantial -ToHit debuff, so even if it didn't Fear the target, their ability to hit back is greatly reduced.
As for Resilience in general...? Eh, it's not really the greatest. Integration will cover you for pretty much anything short of being surrounded by Green Ink Men.
I ended up taking it on my Elec/Regen, but that was mostly because I had nothing else to really choose from. -
Mezzing does tend to knock a target down the threat totem pole a bit, but I don't think a pet should automatically stop attacking it. That does sound a little odd.
Was that just a one time thing or does it consistently happen?
