Second, tying chat binds to power use can get REALLY annoying to a team. What I suggest instead is that you define ALTERNATE keybinds for adding the chat.

Yes, of course, this too - I thought that (Maria's arc) was the standard usage and Hube was looking for some other meaning. -

Like watching sports all day, tinkering with the car, *playing* sports all day, building model ships, etc.
Those are all *as* pointless and arguably *more* brainless pursuits when compared to some video gaming, yet most guys would feel comfortable telling their officemates they were planning on golfing, changing the oil, or vegging on the couch all weekend watching football, but hesitate to tell them he was planning on leading PuGs online all weekend.
Will that ever change? -

Anyone struggling with keyboard controls should treat themselves to a Nostromo N52.
Thumbpad is for Powers #1-#4 (attack chain)
Keys are for movement and powers #5-#8 (extended attack chain), plus Hasten, Aim (or other power-up), SuperJump/CombatJump bind, Sprint, & Map,
Power #0 (heal, buff, or panic button (Phase, Hibernate, etc.)) on the flat button at the base of the thumbpad,
and power #9 (nuke/grenade/etc) on the shiny button above the thumbpad.

Also consider checking out the Player Guides section - I'd recommend starting in the Guide to Guides.
Most good guides include at least one proven successful build.
But even if there isn't, just reading through the guide might help put you on the right path. -

It's presumed that this is WAI so that images aren't stretched and so they don't need to provide loading screens in 5 different formats.

Minor issue but Searching turns up no other mentions...
Since I-18 went live my initial Loading... and zone loading screens are in the wrong resolution. I'm running 1680x1050 - the loading screens look like non-widescreen size.
Do I remember seeing somewhere that I might have to add a -tag to the end of the CoH launcher text? -
