I don't have a M of anything on any of my toons. I think this is something I'd like to look into getting
The hard part will be deciding WHICH toon I want it on the most!

It looks like they've been staggering the times of the events across different servers, because there was one on another server that was on at 3pm PST. They may start staggering them more skewed towards West Coasters, but if it's a Dev playing the mob doing the running, I don't think I'd want to stay past 5pm for work if I didn't have to. If they put it at 7PST, then it'd be 10EST, and then you'd get people saying that they're unfriendly towards people on the East Coast. Since the free transfers are going on, if one is on another server at a more convenient time, you could always transfer there, do the event then come back!
It puts it at about 8pm my time (AST), so it's nice to see something start early enough that people on the East Coast don't have to stay up too late for.
Thanks Devs, if I remember (and I will try to!) I'll be in FF!
(Edit Was looking through the history and it looks like one of the events was at 5ish PST a few weeks ago on another server) -
I think you upgrade your account with the serial code from the set, but I don't think you can upgrade your account more than once with the same 'expansion' set so to speak.
It's a good idea to contact a CRS regarding this though. Could you let us know the outcome? I am curious in case I come across a similar deal. -

There are SGs that are mainly active during the night, ones active during the day, ones that run TFs all the time, etc. What are you looking for.

I think he's asking for clarification from Avatea (you know, someone with a a red name).
I wouldn't mind clarification either, because the wording is ambiguous - it says 'you have the opportunity to access' not 'you CAN access' and it doesn't specify live server or test server, just that you 'have the opportunity.' Language like that is vague, and I'd like it to be clear.
Will pre-ordering it give me access to dual pistols and demons on the live server in March, or will it give me access to it on the test servers in March. This is a yes/no answer question.
And Golden Girl, while I'm sure you *think* you know for sure, and even if you're right, I'm confident that I and others would prefer to get this clarification from someone with RED in their name and that gets paid by NCSoft, and not rely on the assurances of someone that THINKS they know. -
I'm not sure what other people were experiencing, but when I would access it, it would take 2-3 tries to buy something, then 2-3 tries to get it into my inventory, or if I was putting something up for auction it'd take 2-3 times to get it into the AH window.
Really annoying, and it's been going on for a few days now... since Friday I think. -

If you could build your dream team, what ATs would you have on it and why?
What sets would you take to literally mow down the enemies?
For the purposes of this question, let's assume that you're running the STF,
Numina, and a low level TF - let's say Posi or Synapse. I know some people will have the team make up be different depending on what TF you're running due to enemies faced, so let's see what you think! If you're really in the mood to be creative and verbose, show the dream team for all the TFs.
You can go even further and break it down into what a dream team for a speed run would look like, or a clean run [no deaths](sometimes, they're both!).
I'm not talking about specific characters, just ATs, so let's assume every AT is staffed by a good player.
I'm really curious to see what you all come up with! -

As I mentioned earlier, I dinged my first 80 in WoW. I have done some minor world PvP when I run across someone my level with their PvP flag on, but I hadn't tried zone PvP.
I picked one of the PvP capture the flag instances and zoned in. My build was a lousy build for PVe or PvP, I hadn't bothered to look up a min/maxed one. Once everyone started zoning in, one of the other players on my team laughed at me for coming in with suboptimal gear and spec. I shrugged it off and went ahead learning how the zone played.
At the end of the time my group won and I ended up mid ranks for kills for both sides. Since I had spent about half the fight defending our flag carrier I thought it was acceptable.
I was quite pleased to see that I didn't totally suck at PvP over there. Now that I have a better build I am going to go back in and see if I can do better. Somehow I have a feeling that going into the arena is a totally different ballgame. I'll still have to give it a shot though.

And once again let's consider the red side. There is absolutely no way for any one character to get Dr. Q/ Positron type merits anyway, so the system is already broken.
It'd be *REALLY* cool if the Devs did a 2xp weekend for Redside ONLY, then the next weekend did a Blueside only 2xp weekend. With incentives like that in place, there may be more people learning to love redside.
If they did that, I think they'd have to make the co-op task forces 2x xp/merits for the whole time, but like I previously mentioned, diminishing rewards would work against you if you wanted to try to farm it - or, make a special exception and ONLY get the 2x rewards once per 18 hours (only for the co-op ones). -
Impyre, is there enough interest blue side to run this, or maybe change it to a dark/* defender team as well as the rad aspect for blueside? I think dark defenders would chew through stuff almost as fast as rads, and we need more dark defenders!

I really like the idea of the 2x merits for 2x xp weekends. They don't come along all that often, and some of us run all KINDS of TFs on 2x xp weekends cos they're the best/fastest way to make levels, influence, and drops if you're not into farming. Keep the diminishing returns in place for them, so people can't run the hell out of Katie Hannon, and there shouldn't be a problem.
