It does, though the event may spawn as zombie invasion, OR the banners to my knowledge. Don't know whether it's a 50/50 breakdown.
If I'm on, which isn't all that likely though possible now that my laptop has an extra monitor and I can hook the keyboard into it too, I'd definitely be happy to help you on those, The do take quite a few people though, because each of the banner locations requires a couple people fighting, and actually making an effort.

AWESOME JOB EVERYONE! We got the banners to spawn finally, and at first it was going to be a very close...very close like down to the last second. Then...backup started arriving! We had 2 (Carnada and Kilowatt? (Neo?)) that joined us (Stargeek, Archivist, Riverdance, Sooner, and myself), and whole nother team lead by Kyo. Then whoooosh down they went faster than you can say tiiiiiiiimber! Great job everyone and even more a big thanks to all that came out and helped.

To my understanding...like the zombie invasion, the banners still spawn. If this is true, I'd like to try to set up a time to turn in the halloween salvage so that they will spawn, and we can get a couple of teams on the banners. Why do I go through this trouble or even care do you ask? Well...believe it or not (even after all the times I helped everyone), BB never got the GM badge (I think that's the one), so he didn't get that one and the accolade of having them all. Anyone interested in helping or needing them still themselves? Or anyone that wants to verify that this holds true?
