You need two KB protection IOs for bosses and 3 for AVs. Temp protection is a good res slow/-rech power. As far as taking it over tough, no.

Most people wait till 47 to IO out a build for end game play and base their slotting on that. Its not all about purples. I have 13 50s and none of them have a single purple set. Douring the leveling period, most builds just have common IOs with a few sets gotten along the way. In the case of never playing your character again when you hit 50, making an IO build for it would be for novelty reasons over performance upgrade. Have fun with the TT and burn combo for those two levels you will have it for.

The mobs scale down when people quit the team. They don't scale down when someone logs off anymore. And the lowest they will scale down to is the minimum start requirements. They did this to stop soft loading in tree specs and defeat all missions.

Even though I was new to the game at the time, I don't know anyone who did this. On my first alt, I figured it was a good idea to get my prime and 2ndary powers first before I took a travel. Nor did I know anything about bank missions. I went 22 levels with only the good vs evil jump pack power. That's running threw the hollows, taking the fire escapes to get to upper levels in KR, sprinting down the streets of steel canyon, taking the freeway to get around skyway, falling down the cracks in faultline waiting for the jump pack to recharge. I don't even want to talk about boomtown and doing the cape mission. It wasn't until I actually got on a team and was clowned by everyone that what I was doing was just dumb logic.

Heh. Yeah. I think the RWZ challenge appeared around I9. Whenever it was, it was before a lot of the scrapper buffs and a lot of the good IOs. It was more along the lines of testing to failure with an occasional success, though I think my success rate at the time was actually around 80-90%.

As we've gotten better, it's gotten easier and easier. It still takes a good build and a good player, but yeah, a lot of people these days are probably doing it without even knowing it as they grind out merits or just go looking for tough bad guys to kill. For me, it's a box to put a checkmark in before moving on to bigger and better things like AVs. Not that AVs are that hard either for a good build and a good player, but I think they're a step up from the old RWZ challenge.

Still, grats. Easier isn't the same as easy.

I started playing about a week or two before i9 went live. I don't even know what RWZ looked like before i10. so yeah, I can see it would have been a lot harder then. Its not even close to being easy now. Playing with a /regen means you can't sleep.

Isn't there a redraw with claws and spines as well? Not sure with spines but every time I use a non claw attack on my claw stalker and widow, the claws have to draw out first when I use a claw attack afterwards.

Oh that's an actual challenge? I do that when I'm bored. Sometimes I clear a mob. Other times it hurts. Getting mezzed by 3 +4 bosses is the worst. I do it better on my BS/Regen scrapper then on my DM/WP or my DM/regen. And soloed a pylon. Parry rules! I need to try it with my BS/WP. I know don't have a chance with two mobs. That's 6 +4 bosses stacking mezzes and I can't use break frees or vanguard psi sheild. Ouch.

That's a good idea. I still want to run on test as well. It allows people team with people they normaly wouldn't be able to. But the idea of an all scrapper TF on all servers sounds good. We should figure out a way to do both. An all server one and one on test. Someone from the other servers would have to set up the time and dates. As for virtue, my time is saturdays and sundays 6pm central time zone. It seems like people were leaning towards sunday.

Sorry. TT doesn't have a KB hold. If you use torrent afterwards, you will see flying mobs with tenecals around them.

Agreed. All of the day job powers that are on in game timers are only good for one story arc or TF if you've been logged off long enough, you'd do better getting a temp power from a tier 3 empowerment center in a SG/VG base. The only day charge powers I spend time getting are ones that are counted per use or a toggle timer like the traveler's jet pack. Did two hami raids with one with time left over from one maxed out charge.

I would like to know myself. Context clues tells me it has something to do with the 54s in RWZ and being solo.

I had to look at it twice. Without changing any powers or pulling slots, I say you should pull the KB protection off of tough and put the res/def IO there and put a botz KB IO in super jump. I see you have it unslotted. That's what I would do short of a total build overhaul.

Basically, I did one Katie once, back when I had more friends still playing this game, and one night everyone was on at once, and we had enough people to run a task force. I don't like pick up groups, or asking strangers to pad, so task forces are usually out of my reach. But a group of forum scrappers? Even if we fail, it sounds like fun.

You don't know what you are missing. As far as getting ganked by stalkers, BB isn't as bad as it was once before. I'd still be quick on the meteors and on the fire base. WB is another story. That's why the temp powers are so strong. They are a pain to get. And if they don't get that copy system working, we may have to move this to virtue . That would suck. I'm looking forward to playing with everybody.

the test server. so everybody can join the party. To give people more time, its fair to make it next weekend. either saturday or sunday 6:00pm central time. let me know what day is best. I dont mind doing it both days to get more people in if we happen to have more then 8 people interested.

If you use shockwave while in melee range, you will knock everyone you hit with it well out of rttc range. Even if you don't slot for kb.

The fact that I work everyday is messing up the time window for me. The best time I can come up with is 6pm central saturday or sunday. It can be this weekend or next weekend.

The when is the big issue. I've found myself squeezing in playtime as of late. I miss the days of running 4 TFs in a day. So many different time zones. So many different play time windows...

I just had a thought. How about we take this to the test server so everybody can join?

None of my scrappers are soft cap def. I don't have a pure def set scrapper. They can take hits. Just not soul storm. But I've seen soul storm miss me. That brings me back not wanting set requirements. It then becomes no different from those who pick and choose who they want on Master saturdays. That's what I was trying to avoid.
