Indeed... I was thinking of Tweak COH, not Splasher!
Zombie Man is right...
Thanks for the correction/addition... -
There are two ways...
1. Google City Splasher, there is a tab that will do it for you automatically.
2. Find a font you like, re name a copy of it "mont_demibold.TTF" and drop it in your /data subfolder in the city of directory. I like "digistrip.ttf" I found it googling "comic book fonts"
Good Luck! -
Thank you for that, I will try it when I get home from work!

Poo latte, or nothing at all!

Bonus points if it has passed through Lemur Lad instead... -
It is an Intel GMA x3100 ...
Thank you for taking the time to help, perhaps it will get looked at in a future patch.
Thanks again! -
Hello!
I am very thankful that the mouse cursor bug seems to be fixed for me!
I have noticed, however that now when I hover my cursor over any thing clickable or selectable ( targets, enhancements...etc...) my screen ( wall textures, the ground the sky) flickers a bit.
Clicking and dragging an enhancement does not actually pick the enhancement up. It remains in my tray until I release the mouse button over a slot, where it will now magically appear. I could swear I could drag stuff before...
Has anyone else noticed these things? I am trying to diagnose if it is my system, or the current software build.
Thank you for any data/ personal experience you could share.... -
Thank you everyone for your help!
I am only up to level 16 so far, but enjoy it.
Thanks again. -
Good Morning!
I have never tried Fire, or (I am embarassed to say) Regeneration... and I am just not used to my main mitigation for damage to be "Take it and Heal it!"
I am unsure what order to take the powers in, what I need and what I can skip. Regen seems to have 3-4 powers all basically described as "This heals you even more" Which ones do I need?
If by any chance any of you have played this combo before and have a leveling build or can just give me some advice, it would really be appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time... -
Might I suggest you DO NOT TURN OFF XP, just refuse to level up...
That way.. someday, when you feel like it.. you can try the ultimate level 10 build, level 20 build..etc...
I say, bank that XP, just don't use it until you want to! -
I went with Earth/Ice, with the Earth powers set to crystal effects and tinted white/light blue.
"Vetursdottir" ( Winter's daughter in Icelandic) She is one of the Huldurfolk or Hidden People of Iceland, spirts that live in the rocks and landscape.
I am really enjoying her so far. If I knew how to embed a screenshot I would, she looks alot like a 4 foot Bjork with pointed ears, blue jeans and a puffy down jacket. The idea was how would a real modern day Icelandic elf hide among us?
Quicksand and Chilling Embrace seem to fill the same hole for me, do you prefer one over the other? -
Can players on Macs please be allowed to choose to have mouse functionality instead of a walk power?
-
I also realised I just plain ol' like the look of the swords better on this particular character... thank you again for all your help!
-
Now I am wondering about the relative merits of Earth/Ice instead...
Do they play much differently?
Which do you prefer?
Thanks for any and all builds or feedback.... -
Thank you! I am looking forward to this character... Icelandic folklore is full of cool myths of the hidden people Elves, trolls and the like.. Thanks Again...

I am making an Icelandic female shaman character, and have decided on Ice/Earth.
Are there any powers to definitely avoid, and any key synergies I should exploit? I will be starting broke on a new server, so if anyone has a build, or just build advice using SOs only it would be greatly appreciated.
Some people say skip single target imobilizes, I know some powers counteract Ice slick...etc... Any advice?
Thank you so much, and wish me luck! -
Switching out a power supply is not much different then switching a surge protector power strip from your home tv/stereo system... just more cube shaped and the plugs are smaller... Have faith in yourself! Here is a simple video...

I use CityBinder http://sourceforge.net/projects/citybinder/
This will turn Flight on when you move, and Hover the second you stand still. Totally takes care of your END management...and you feet will never have to hit the streets of Paragon again!
It also looks incredibly cool when you come to a dead stop automatically, instead of the flying slide Flight gives ... -
I can't find anything using Google about a comic book character named Elsie D or even LCD... New Superhero? Can somebody link me?
EDIT: Ok found her... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elsie-Dee -
Adeon beat me to the punch...
The absolute best way to get on a fantastic team is to start one.
I think people often forget that this game is titled "City of Heroes" not "City of Me following 7 other guys around." You really need to be a hero, not a sidekick, follower or "dude mumbling in the background."
Be the burger, not the ketchup... Do not live your life as a condiment. ( Good advice for real life too..)
You are paying $15 bucks a month... it is your money, so I guess you can choose your own role... but I have found for me personally... it is easier especially if I only have an hour or two to start my own team, not waste it looking for one. -
I can't wait until @Underscores reads this and gets all confused and upset...

I use these two binds with Super Jump:
/bind lshift+j "powexectoggleon Super Jump$$++autorun$$++up"
/Bind <key> "Powexec_name Combat Jumping$$powexec_name Super Jump"
The first one turns on SJ moving forward until you hit another movement key to stop. This is very helpful for crossing large zones and scaling skyscrapers... The second /bind toggles CJ and SJ so you don't have to think about it too much...
One pretty cool thing I have discovered.. I have a short Monkey based martial artist scrapper. If I target an enemy, hold down follow and then the jump key, I will be locked into a cycle where I perpetually jump on their head, and can execute some sweet attacks from what looks like their shoulders... Silly but really fun! -
Dan Simmons just wrote a great book about an Inuit Polar Werebear... The Terror. It was an awesome read!
