  2. KiTTY,

    What're your computer specs? Namely processor, RAM (Brand/Speed) and video card?

    I experience all these things but it doesn't crash me. I suspect where yours crashes and mine doesn't might be a difference in quality of RAM.

    Switch
  3. While we're at it...

    10,000 Jaegers for the Jaegermeister badge, PLEASE?

    and...

    Make Me a Sandwich

    For 100 Knives of Artemis bosses.

    Kidding on the last one... my girlfriend just punched me.
  4. I love my Huntsbane.

    He's some kind of monster

    I wholeheartedly recommend it.

    Touch of Death too.

    But for the likes of Kinetic Combat, skip the proc and add a 4-piece Mako to it.

    Learning these little things takes time and respecs
  6. WASD, mouse for camera control (My girlfriend yells at me for being able to split-second 180 and jump over her mid-fight), space to jump, X to fly down.

    I use shift to toggle SS on any speed characters, and have a bind file set up to toggle between travel powers on an auxiliary mouse button.

    That is to say, button4, depending on character, either goes

    Hover->Fly->Sprint (loops)
    CJ->Super Jump (loops)
    Sprint->CJ->Ninja Run (loops)
    Aid Self or Ice Slick or other Targeted AOE.

    Yay me?

    Pre-grats. Don't forget to look outside some time, you know... so you don't forget what it looks like! :P

This is in a world with people who can read minds, see through walls, predict the future, etc. It's utterly absurd to think there could be an open pipeline of goods flowing through Went's to and from the Rogue Islands without anyone knowing about it. Once discovered, the company would be shut down, permanently, no saving throw. (Not necessarily by the government -- what do you think e.g. Manticore would do if he had solid evidence Went's was dirty?)

    In order for this state of affairs to persist, it must be the case that Wentworth's is openly corrupt and is being protected by the government -- which is simultaneously refusing to recognize the Rogue Isles, embargoing and giving support to the Phalanx's private war against such, etc. Which makes no sense. It doesn't make much sense that heroes would knowingly market their Weapons Of Mass Destruction components through a company known to be doing business with superhuman terrorists, either, but the average player doesn't give a fig for such trifles as world consistency.
    Couldn't Wentworth's simply be in the middle of an ongoing investigation into corruption within, trying to reconcile lost trucks (or goods therein) which were shipping goods between Atlas and Founder's? Of course the info on such would be suppressed until they found out the culprit. Meanwhile going the reverse way, heroes in Wentworth's employ are recovering lost trucks, but the shipping manifests don't match... *thinks*

    It's not the best solution, but there's something.

    Ice Control

    Ice can be made into a lean build using only 5 powers (Personally: Block of Ice, Shiver, Ice Slick, Glacier, Jack Frost) and really ramp up the secondary for effect. Now, this experience comes from my Dominator but many controller secondaries will work nicely.

    For soloing, I'd recommend kinetics. For team play, anything.

    Oh and one note: I'd recommend avoiding the AoE immob because it negates the mitigation of Ice Slick. The benefits of this set seem to be heavily weighted on the knockdown of Ice Slick and the slow powers. Even with just the five powers, I keep mobs on my dominator either locked down or slowed beyond belief. But then again, I have attacks to remove the threats, which you do not.

    Take this advice with a grain of salt.
  13. I remember when Voids were broken (or missing) and Paragon Protectors spawned in their place.

    I remember when I got my Dominator to 40 before there were any buffs to the class - no increased domination rate for members on the team, no using it like a break free... those were hard times.

    I remember pushing my character to 36 (I think it was at the time) for the Sewer Trial and they nerfed the XP on the Krakens when I was 35.9.

    I remember when Lusca was something I actively sought out.

    I remember when Terra Volta was challenging and you could actually get overwhelmed by spawns in the Reactor.

    I remember naked Rikti with surfboard swords, lol.

    I remember when I thought Unyielding was useless and never slotted it. I had the worst time getting to 24 trying to complete a respec and fix my ways.

    I remember my SGs first attempt at navigating the shard for a Sara Moore TF took 13 hours to complete the TF, ROFL.
  14. Revised build posted above. Works like a dream. Can't wait for Incarnates!

    I used to play Hide and Seek in Atlas. I'd give clues in broadcast and the first person to open a trade window with me got 100,000 inf until I ran out. I should do that again some time.

    TEEN
    Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.
    I stand corrected

    Hrm. I overlooked that post. However, the rating is cumulative based on a number of factors. And between the writing, animated violence and who knows what else, this game accumulated a teen rating. There was a post a VERY long time ago by someone who probably got themselves cut loose from the team, but they said we couldn't have a costume option to have a cigarette because it would bump the rating - those damn impressionable kids. Cigars were okay though, since they're not in the public eye as much anymore.
  18. Devil's Advocate: Adding gambling to the game would increase it beyond a Teen rating which I believe the devs refuse to compromise.

    Otherwise /signed.
