Mine are usually the standard "set/set. No blind invites."
Except on Champ, with countless blind SG invites I placed "Blind SG inviters will be placed on ignore".
Then there is redside "Blind inviters will be hunted down and tortures so long they'll think it's a career."
As for setting flags, mine usually stays at the default because I'm usually not actively looking for a team, that does not mean I will not join one. -
Well, that's a name I haven't seen in a while.
Welcome back Slim! -
I checked a list of names for DP over on Virtue, and was shocked to see that some hadn't been taken. I too am at work and can't remember all the names on the list, but both 'Wadcutter' (I use this on another server) and 'Inner-10' (target shooting term) were available as of last night.

Quote:Not exactly true.As long as it is just your and your wife's Characters, you should be fine.
If there are any others, I'd same make sure none are higher than rank 4 and that you and/or your wife have at least a couple rank 5s, so that someone trusted has the Rank 6.
Thank you for the time...
If there are any members of the SG that belong to some other player, then as soon as firespray's accounts go inactive past the max time limit (45 days) the next player to log on will gain the big red star. An active players rank has no bearing on whether they will gain Super Leader status, if the Super Leader and Leaders go inactive.
Otherwise they are safe and they could come back after a year and nothing will be changed. -
Good leads here. When my laptop died just before X-mas, I had about 2 hours to replace it so I got a desktop off the shelf. The game looks totally new compared to my laptop.
While the HD 4350 512MB installed works fine now, I have now doubt it will likely under-perform with UM.
Father Xmas, je_saist, newegg should design an app around you two. Plug in what you have, what you can spend, and then tell me what my best upgrade options are. -
And in case you lose the link again, it's located at the bottom of the Development section of the forums.

Quote:I'm thinking Pocket D would be a better place to try this, as those with mainly redside characters could also chip in.Well then, think we can find 52 or 54 kins? Let's get someone airborne! I wanna slingshot a stone tank across Portal Court!
But slingshotting a stoner to Monster Island would be entertaining.
As far a JS is concerned, I'm always logged in to it. There are times when people will go off on a tangent and talk/discuss/argue about something (regardless to it having to do with the game or not) and on those times, I just ignore it or move it to a tab of its own along with the other globals I watch.
It is a Global channel, not by invite. I do consider it a Protectorite channel (not Protector the server,) and I think many of the JS subscribers consider themselves Protectorites regardless of how much time they still spend on Protector. -

I'm thinking that 1 1/2 hrs was too short a notice for many people.

Quote:I agree with Bill, especially the bolded part. This is because masterminds had to go through that *every time* just to be ready for a mission. It'd be like stepping into a mission and having all your powers have to recharge. The henchmen are, basically, the MM's offense, defense, and a chunk of their HP, all rolled into one (or six.) Prior to the "Pets zone with you" change, other classes could deal with a door ambush right away - the MM was essentially defenseless (and offenseless.)
Buffing's simply adding to someone's capability, not getting them up to a minimum level to be able to *do* anything.
How about... no.
Buffing just isn't that big a deal - and yes, I play quite a few defenders, corruptors, and controllers (don't forget, sharing buff sets.) Including, yes, FF, Thermal, Ice, and Sonic. Buffing times just don't take all that long.
Turn those into a PBAOE, and:
- END cost goes up, as you note.
- I'd put money down the strength of those buffs would *drop* as part of the price for the "convenience" (which, IMHO, isn't that convenient,)
- I can't selectively buff - or avoid buffing.
- I can't catch people I missed for whatever reason (slow zone, AFK, out of range, etc.) on the fly.
Quite frankly, turning these into a PBAOE buff would make me enjoy these sets *far* less. -

There is actually a deviantart group of our very own CoH'ers. I highly recommend browsing the art there to find someone who strikes you for the styles you are looking for.
I'm probably going to get something done by EmeraldCrusader in the not too distant future.
And Clutch has a very unique style as well.
Definitely head over to the Screenshots & Fan Creations boards, many an artist post there displaying their skillz. -

Quote:Zombie Skins courtesy of Zombie ManYeah, I should have mentioned that. I like the functionality of these forums more, but I really wish I knew Java script so I could write a greasemonkey script to make these forums look like the old ones.

Quote:For as yet unknown reasons Aero likes to disable itself. Switch you desktop theme to another Windows stock theme and you should get your alt+tab function back. Also on windows 7, aero theme (not sure if it's disabling in the background or not), 5850 with latest drivers and i've made sure all the compatibility mode stuff is correct ... Can't alt-tab or windows key ...
I also have dual monitors ... Oh and i'm on a normal install rather than steam. -
On the two main servers that I play on, I use SG join dates.
