With KD/KB and KU (Knockup) Mag IS distance. Three SOs of KB enhancement would give you roughly 38-40 mag KB on TK Thrust, if it starts at 16 (KB enhancers are roughly 40% each on SOs).

Almost all Mez toggles (DA and Fire being the big exceptions) not only grant protection, but resistance, to KB & KU. 10,000%. Since the knocks are instant, the resistance reduced magnitude, then protection kicks in - so most mez armors reduce Knocks to nothing. However, some Knocks are irresistible (which is where the armor's having 10mag protection comes in handy.)

You do cannot rechoose your patron - however, when you level up, once you have access to the patron pool powers, you can choose from any of them (although you can only have one at a time). In case of leveling, this automatically rewards a respec (freespec, even, I think, the only one that stacks with others) so you can go back and re-choose.

From what I recall, yes, it works just like purples.

Even if it didn't, it wouldn't matter what level power you slot it into since set bonuses are granted irregardless of the power being available.

Mind Control is a Psychic-based control set. Empathy is a Psychic-based buff/healing set. Thematically, they work for all intents and purposes. I don't see why you feel the need to include something that will, functionally, end up replicating similar, if not the exact same effects, to Empathy when it already exists. Infact, they've done that already - it's called 'Pain Domination'.

You've read the power descriptions, right? How can you seriously tell me that's not psychic in nature? Empathy is a little loose, granted, but you can still have it fit within a Psychic framework (Empathy is, infact, an ability regularly attributed to psychics in the real-world field of Parapsychology, and a sub-set of Telepathy in it and in the comics/fantasy world at large - some of which include a Mind Over Body effect of healing other people through psychic energy) as well, even if the descriptions for it are far more basic.

And almost all examples I can think of of psychic healers has them being tele-empathic even if they are not telepathic (which one can argue is a separate field completely from empathy, albeit similar)

Also, here is the other issue.

Dark Embrace is a Resistance power, not a Defense power. As such, no Luck of the Gambler IOs can be slotted in it.

But you can also snag scorpion shield and slot that there.

The Numia's (as well as Regenerative Tissue's & Miracle's) unique is a 120, not a global.

As a 120, it doesn't care what level you are, just that the power it's in has been activated - at which point it will continue to work for the next 120 seconds (Like a proc, but with a 100% chance).

If it is listed as a global and not a 120, then someone has changed it to mis-information, but last I checked paragonwiki.com it had the right info.

EDIT: Just checked the wiki - it calls the enhancement unique (only 1 may be slotted per build) but not a global.

The way I read this is Player A and Player B are the only players in a PvP zone. Player A kills Player B, rep is rewarded to Player A and the chance to roll for an IO. They fight again in 2min30secs. Player B wins this time and is rewarded no rep but still has the chance to rolls for a PvP IO? However Player A isn't eligible for the chance to roll for PvP IO until 5 minutes after he has killed Player B the first time?

Do I have this right?

I think a lot of later stuff also points out that Batman's capes (as well as those of Robin and Batgirl - Nightwing typically eschews the cape) are made of advanced polymers/metal weaves that make them fairly heavy and bullet resistant as well. In addition to the body armor, that's a significant ranged deterrent right there - and allows them to extend that protection (in a limited fashion) to someone they may be rescuing.
