Another confirmation on purple drops from snowmen. Had an Apocalypse drop from a snow best last night.

I have an Earth/Psi Permadom with around 173% recharge. It's a pre-fitness inherent build, so I'm planning on respeccing into some defense mule powers and popping in 3 additional LOTG's to bring the recharge around 195%, give or take.

My question is, I keep looking at Drain Psyche. I have it 6 slotted right now with 5 Doctored Wounds and 1 IO Acc. I keep trying to look for another way to slot it because I feel like that sixth slot could be used better elsewhere, but if I take it off that will leave it more apt to miss, I'm guessing. I'm not sure how much the defense debuff in Earth's primary would mitigate that, seeing as how I usually lay down a proc filled Earthquake or a Quicksand down. Also, I don't remember off hand what my global Acc bonus is, but leaving that power without any Acc just seems off to me.

How do most Permadoms slot Drain Psyche? I am only building for recharge, and I'm not sure if I want to lose that 5% from DW.

I've seen that video before, and I'm assuming the beast briefly running at the beginning is the power, but I was hoping for something a little more in depth. That doesn't give me a good idea of whether I'd like it.

Does anyone happen to have a link to a vid demonstrating the beast travel power? Trying to decide between that and the Ninja run as a superfluous shiny. Ninja Run is pretty sweet.

I am a returning player and am currently VIP for a few months until I unlock the tier with access to inventions, then going back to premium. I'm going to get my hands on an unopened retail box of Going Rouge and I just wanted to be clear on what that will unlock for me. I'm told that any extra toon slots are not granted. Will Alignment, Praetoria, and the four powersets (Dual Pistols, Demons, Kinetic and Elec Control) be available when I do eventually go Premium? Will I get a paid month of VIP? Also, anything I'm forgetting about in the box set?

On a Defender or Corrupter, I'd say drop it in a heartbeat. Tough decision on a Blaster, especially one that teams. Drop it if you don't like it. What I wouldn't recommend is listening to a Hamster to tell you how to play the game.

I like Illusion trollers just as much as the next forumite. They are great. However the bottom line to all of this is this little gem right here.

I have dual builds on my Sonic/Sonic. One is for STF's and runs Leadership toggles in addition to the Sonic Toggles. The other I tried to get as high on my resist as possible with Tough/APP resist toggle. Both builds benefited greatly from +recovery, +end. I'd recommend keeping it simple and going for that. I couldn't never really justify going for other set bonuses like recharge or defense for the price and the build.

Just as a sidenote to all this, I was running Liberate on my SS/Fire and had a lowbie from level 1 doorsit. Mish was set to +2/x4 and I noticed the drops were infinitely better than any other type of playing/farming with the virtual slider cranked up solo. In the few hours it took to get that lowbie to 28, I'd gather enough salvage/recipie/enchancements (3 purples even) to justify a selling/market run every other reset. Teaming certainly seems the way to go when playing with the difficulty slider. I just have no clue what the sweet spot on that would be. It's very odd.
