omg what an amazing list in this thread, its kinda funny that the pvp community would be able to put a list like this together of all the things that need to be changed in the game for it to be better for pve and pvp. gj, awesome work. ty.

as it stands now a scrapper with tactics and focused accuracy fully slotted with to-hit buffs can hit me in Kuji-in Retsu (tier 9) almost 75% of the time and with buildup active 100% of the time and its annoying to activate the power go in for the attack and get 2-3 shotted in less then 10 seconds knowing that if they use (elude) there is nothing i can do but maybe hit him once out of every attack chain that includes buildup.
either have to overhaul defense, lower to-hit buffs, or completely change the game to total accuracy over total defense = total % of damage done to target with sucessful hitting each time. perhaps make accuracy enhancements into schedule B or whatever its called for 20% acc bonus instead of 33% per SO.
btw as a defender on a team with tanks and scrappers i'd expect them to have taunt ppl off of me and use mobility to keep me alive. one vs one as a defender i'd not engage anything in pvp. -
would you rather the stalkers be given focused accuracy and conserve power? or perhaps give the dominators hibernate, and the corruptors PFF? get real our patron powers suck compared to the epics that are chosen by heros for pvp in mind. yeah force of nature for the masterminds please.
heros always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but when you actually roll up a villain and look at what the PPP's have to offer your AT and build you will laugh and tell yourself, damn i wish i had focused accuracy on by brute so /dark and /rad defenders couldnt pawn me while i whiff whiff.
please by all means keep crying, and if you wanna help us and help yourselves you could ask the devs to delete the PPP's and give us similar epic power pools, i'd even pat you on the back and PL a villain of your choice to lvl 50 20 days after issue 7 was released if you could make us more balanced via PM's to the devs. -

im with you on that, boy nothing like wiffing against someone running elude and they just kick your butt while in retsu, funny thing how retsu and elude are the same power and with scrapper having 50% more hp's being unable to hide from them and they negating half your defense with a toggle, i felt like i was punished for killing all those unprepared noobs that had no tactics in the past.
the only scrappers i can officially pawn are Dark Armor ones, the rest totally were rocking me tonight. eh the tanks still sucked but what can they do besides taunt and take a beating. needless to say even buffs on a team didnt save my behind tonight, kin corruptors are cool and all but nothing can stop a scrapper running elude with FA except, well FA.
i guess if i had 5 sets of tactics running i could have done it, but tonight showed me my first complete A$S woopin in awhile.
fighting HO'd lvl 50 heros in WB = cake
fighting HO'd lvl 50 heros in RV = face in mud
i hate to say this but its about that time,

Either way the power is far from useless and is uber in it's own right. I can ask any Storm Defender or Controller right now if there going to respec Hurricane out of there build due to this nerf and they wil say No. It would be like me saying that Unyielding is pointless to take because they added a -5% to Defense and lowered the Mag protection. It's making Mountains out of Mole Hills.

I WILL respec out of hurricane, the only use I have for hurricane right now is to try and keep meleers away in PvE (I don't do PvP), and that ability has been neutered from the power so, to me, it's useless now.

just because you lose your i dont have to really fight ever power doesnt mean its not still useful. im sure you will discover this for yourself. and as for the pvp aspect, its because of abuse that it got nerfed, same as AS one shotting, and placate hidding stalkers from the whole team of heros after oneshotting a squishy.
we (the pvp community) get ourselves nerfed, have you not reallized this yet?
its not the pve people like yourself its the pvp community that keeps taking advantage of specific powers or specific builds that might have ruined your pve experience, for this im sorry.
I too am guilty of oneshotting and escaping, and complaining about superspeeders with Hurricane that can see through my hide+stealth in pvp knocking me into corners and either getting me debt or ganked while unable to defend myself. and because of my lack of ability to deal with them, especially when your dealing with 6 or more at one time, i was upset about them in pvp as well and probably helped to get them toned down. -

Quiet Ninja <----- one shotted by a BU+HS (crit) from a broadsword scrapper. in warburg buffs at max on villain side, dont know about hero side, however that resistance buff didnt do a damn thing.
I 2-shot blasters normally though and have only died from defiance a few times when the followup missed. and taking 500 burst damage from a blaster in melee and getting killed before you can finish them off doesnt make sense to me seeing as how i only have about 860 hp's in WB, had i had blaster hp's i would have won im sure. -

In RV...you will be seen.
Even if someone can't see you, but knows you are there, they can hunt you. My /regen has killed pleny of solo stalkers who thought they were doing the hunting.

like i stated in the post you quoted, i will have grant invis and my fellow SG mates will have it also and we will keep it on us at all times, therefore never being seen until we decide to attack. and yeah im stressed mostly cause our patron power pools suck, the HO's and easily accessible self +perception powers on the deadliest of damage dealing toons- scrappers and blasters are going to make sure that the only villain AT that has a chance in hell are taken out easily and smoothly.
the stalkers have been the balance of this game in heros vs villains were the only reason that heros stay out of zones long enough for MM's to clear the mobs to get control back from the heros. i plan to fight through it and will always keep up my pvp rep, however if stalkers are screwed then so are all the other villain AT's do to useless epic powers. -
on my server infinity warburg is always in the highest of buffs for the villains side of thing. its where we all finish levels 36-40. anyhow the truth of it was that i got one shot from someone that wasnt in any hidden mode, the attack went through my kuji-in retsu- godmode if you will, and instantly killed me, the hero was a level 50 BS/Regen (38 in WB of course), i dont think he popped any insp either.
the general consensus would be that he had HO's and used buildup, and not many lvl 40 villains have 3 recharge, 3 to-hit buffs in buildup for the simple fact that we cant waste the slots yet for something that lasts only 10 seconds. however a lvl 50 hero can use up 3 slots and get the same advantage.
i have no resistances to lethal damage except those maybe granted by the zone, but in godmode my defense is at 105% roughly and i barely ever get hit by anything but lvl 50 heros sporting HO's or the occasional alert blaster.
the good news about the new zone will be i can respec out of all my defensive powers and take more toys to assist in playing, fooling, and just plain misbehaving in the pvp zones.
since anything that would kill me can without trying. my def cant get any higher then it is, and if most the offensive heros can hit me and have more hp's then me i guess having any defense is just stupid. hmmm thinking tpfoe, caltrops, 3 movement powers, and a second heal. -

Let me guess... /Regen? Also, I would guess you didn't go up against Blappers who can 2 shot you or Scrappers who, if they crit, can 2 shot you. Or my Inv/SS tank that would eat ANY stalker not using Hide and does frequently ones that do... If a Stalker without Hide is PvP on Easy Mode then ANY Scrapper is PvP with God Mode turned on. They have a higher base damage, much higher hit points and can crit without the need for Hide or somebody to be Held. I think you are overstating things quite a bit to say a Stalker without Hide is easy mode.

I call shenanigans about two shotting. I can barely get a stalker past 1/3rd health with BU + HS at least in Warburg. Then the flee and placate me. :P

you dont understand the differences it seems, without being hidden we have no power, and when seen we will be the first targeted, knock out of hide, and we have the 2nd lowest hp's in the game. basically i know that teaming with the right people i wont have to worry about being hunted by anything.
heros were meant to win, i'll say it again, but i'll be damned if they are gonna hunt me ever in RV. they can nerf us, they can make sure the heros have the upperhand, but they can never give skills to the unskilled.
heros will always be in fear of being killed by stalkers and will always have a team. something i wont ever have to worry about in recluses victory is fear that i will be hunted down by heros because as we all know heros always stay together, and a lone hero is a free kill, most of us stalkers can see through the -Perception cap of non stalkers and since they will only still see us within 10 feet while were teamed we dont have any worries of being hunted. -
read the comics much? watch movies much? the good guys are meant to win. normally its not unless the good guys are out numbered by the bad guys do they even break a sweat not to mention ever really die. the heros in movies and books win all the time and you could make a list a mile long about it.
villains on the other hand, not many movies are made where they win, cept maybe SAW, texas chainsaw massacre and some other twisted horror movies. get my point heros must win and if they lose must be outnumbered by extreme numbers.
we are the underdogs my friends, we have been given the equalizers (stalkers) and we must lead our fellow villains in mass if we hope to overthrow the heros and their allmighty glory. -
none of the stalkers have any resistances to cold, fire, energy, or neg. energy.
/regen have resist to lethal, smashing, and toxic, unless you include MoG which sucks
/ninjitsu have psi and toxic resistance
and thats about it besides having tough for lethal and smashing damage, so it doesnt matter what damage people do as long as they hit us we feel it all. -

On my fire/dev blaster, when I'm superspeeding around in PvP zones I change direction erratically, bunny hop for no particular reason, run in circles, and generally make it hard to anticipate where I'm going to end up. If I'm travelling from place to place, every so often I'll stop and throw caltrops with no warning - I've caught a couple of stalkers that didn't realize that I don't have to see them to guess correctly.
I think adding up the number of times I've killed stalkers vs. the number of times I've been killed by stalkers, it's about a 10:1 ratio.

i think you've got something there, we should just get a smaller list of the zone lvl to relationship to the powers and caps of the AT's to each other.

how do i crack the code for installing stuff without being the adminstrator of the computer, all my sites have computers and i do security day and night and am often alone however this thing is on lock down, should i steal the admin password from the technicians, like make up a problem on the computer make them log in and try really hard to remember what they typed? anyone gotta code cracking program on disc maybe?
