The best way to counter a regen in melee is rolling a regen so like I said I'd personally stick to my Elec/Reg stalker.

I'd probably go with a fully decked out ELM/Regen. -

KB protection is light (For team arena even though bubblers are scarce I'd still shoot for 45+)
Recharge is a little light, usually shoot for 55 - 60 ish on emps (personally)
Jump speed is kinda low with that slotting. On an emp I'd go for a min of like 66% enhancement (I think with that set its maybe 42%) And if you have the slots, more even.
+Range and + Heal are something you could work in as well as far as bonuses go.
As for the jump speed I switched the sets around with SS, now my SS speed is bad, guess im just going to have to sacrifice 15 pts of HP.

I have messed around with my Energy/Pain corr, and while fun, she is a bit meh... much better for the PvE aspect of the game she was originally built for.
Anyway, I was considering some combos and am debating either Rad/Cold=Sonic/Cold or Rad/Term=Sonic/Therm. Problem is I have no idea how these perform in PvP or if they are combos with decent synergy... save for having been on the receiving end of the debuffs a time or ten.
Any advice, suggestions, words of wisdom, etc would be much appreciated. Or if there is some other fantabulous combo that I have not thought of... I know Fire/* has great damage, but I already have a few Fire Corrs for PvE and I wanted to try something different.
Also, was planning on a pretty straitforward Fitness/Speed/Leaping/Leadership/Mako with a */Cold, or a Fitness/Speed/Leaping/Stealth/Scorpion with a*/Thermal.

PS: And no, Dahjee, I don't want to play a Sonic/Traps or whatever.
I'd go Sonic/Thermal for easy stuff, Sonic/Cold works too but you might find it easier to start off with a thermal. -
I'm still torn between this or a grav/emp or mind/emp.

You say you blogged it or looked something up, I did too. Saw the video... not the build though. Not sure if it was "iggys" video. Eitherway It's up there and no where did I claim rights. That's why the name is still there.
Instead of crying. Jumping to conclusions. I don't know Iggy the build was sent to me from in-game friend which brought my interest to here. Sorry City of Heroes I'm busted. :P

I expect a horribad pvp charecter but like so many things you read you never know until you try it
One thing I just thought of though, what about AR/Kin?
AR doesnt have an aim power therefore sucks in terms of damage, kins damage boosts would make up for that to some extent however you would have less defencive power because of it since kin has no armor type boost to either res or defence and no -res debuff.
Another idea I had, how about power boost -> soul storm -> Ignite combo? power boost and slotted soul storm is a 5.5s hold, whilst ignite is a 10s DoT it still would hit around half of that not including animation time and you could probably still get one more shot off whilst there under hold still.
Either that or power boost -> soul storm -> full auto? can get the full animation in then without being hit and damage isnt that bad either.
With kin you could extend that to FS -> Syphon power -> power boost -> soul storm -> full auto/ignite as well... since there held it would also be less resisted right?
