FSAA, Full Screen Anti-Aliasing, big big pig. I had to turn it off. You still get good AA on your toon.
Shadows, they looked like baked booty anyhow. Turned them off.
Reflections down to half.

I was on a team yesterday [a terribly dysfunctional pug to begin with] that gradually gathered my Wetlander Drone, Energy^2, a Gambit clone energy blaster, and a kheld who stayed in nova.

I need to get a team of all energy^2 going some day. -
why cant u use fire cages to shoot ice cubes out your butt, i think we should be able to go to our options and set if u would like to shoot ice cubes with fire cages pls reply soon this has been bugging me for a long time

If you could, take that data chunk, smack it around, you don't even need to reslot stuff that makes no difference, and get my fire/ice gal capped to range.

Here's my horribly gimped quick attempt to throw a ranged fire/ice together. I pass the cap by 2.3% but that won't free up some of the six slottign I had to do to get capped.

From reading you guys...don't use the Rectified Reticule unique if you have Tactics? Woudn't they help each other?
Also, the Gaussian proc in Tactics. That sounds killer...if it works. If it does, how does it work as Tactics is a buff for the whole team?
[Thinking about putting Maneuvers + Tactics on my Katana/wp, if it wasn't for the /wp I'd never think of picking up something that heavy ended.] -
My first and only 50 I took there with not only no IOs except common, but horrible underslotting. I'd often not fill slots I added to powers because I had gotten enough damage or whatever. I didn't understand the game.
But, my MA/Inv, with a little stragety, could solo along the Cimerora wall. That's how I got the last level. Finished the last pip on the beach.
That said, I have great alts in their 20s and 30s who contribute more to a team when SKed up to that level than my 50 ever did.
I have since spend around 800m on her and she is quite the force to be reconed with. But I don't really dig, MA at the time. -
Are we playing the same game?
S/L is the best way to protect yourself hands down. If you're a blaster you also have the option of taking a different armor and with Tough getting the S/L res around 50ish and then use Aegis, Cleaving and Erad, etc to get the ENFC.
I'd like to see the Range cap. That would be great actually.
That said, either cap would work really well. I've never had a capped blaster and always depend on the competence of tanks to get the aggro off me when I let loose the big AoE hurt.
My first thoughts about the weakness of merely S/L is clockwork, and we're not around those much, CoT and Overseers et al. -
Thanks, Local. That was more and better advice that I'd expected.
Why stealth? Because I put the IO in Sprint. I run into walls and fall down stairs if I'm too fast. I never complain about SB but I'm not taking SS on a toon who's a ghost for me. I stub my toe too much and the stealth supresses and I die. Monday I found out I was the only toon who could ghost on the TF. I might be slower than a SS+IO, but I'll consider that my handicap.
I'll try to get over my irrational love for Entropics. It's the regen up front and, to admit, probably the Mandelbrot.
I'll have to digest this and change the build. She's not so far along I couldn't just second build her and with 17's respec and the vetspecs that burst on me when they caught me up, could respec the original when I wanted to. I haven't slotted any decent enh yet.
I realize I railed against the service toon in another post, but this toon really is one with the heal, tp, ghost, and AM.

I only play on teams. Up to the late teens, she played on normal type teams, but since then has played on the fire/rad only teams.
I already have Hot Feet and if I didn't I'd take it. I'll add in Choking Cloud. It's just the faq I had just read poo-pooed it. Then again, they said not to take HF becuase of the end usage.
My playstyle would be Flashfire, Cages, Smack biggie w Char, run in w Hot Feet and maybe Sand d'Mu someone, more char, more stuff in general, kill kill kill.
On the fire/rad team it's just about that, and no more per mob, then run the next. Well, until the 6-8 stacked AM wears off, then it gets slower.
Should I even take EM pulse? Choke's going to push out Teleport, which was just a level 49 "whatever" power.

There sure are a lot of differing opinions on the value of powers and how to slot them in the guide section. So far this toon is at level 25 and I'm a big underwhelmed by LR and Radiation Infection.
And I'm not sure if I should slot Char for damage or get the bonus from Basilisk. And half of what I read said don't do Hot Feet. ??? Don't do Hot Feet?

When I first popped out my spines, they were the ugly boney ones. When I went to Icon, I couldn't find the option to change them. No weapon option. But when I exted out, not cancel but OKed nothing, my spines were back to black metallic.
I didn't mess witih CoH last night though. Tried to see a reflection in anything, then logged. -
