    EM doesn't really come into it's own till warburg lvl with energy transfer and total focus in sirens the big must haves would be bone smasher & stun for some good mez potential

    i usually slot it for 3 recharge 1 resistance
  4. this is a few bits i have with my emp/psi use if you want or don't just a suggestion 6 slot telekinetic blast and psi tornado with kinetic crash the bonuses grant +recharge mag 8 kb protection(thats 4 each) and a 15% reduction in all mez affects on you(7.5% each) also will domination is perfect for the Fortunata Hypnosis Purple set the recipes themselves cost next to nothing when i bought them the only thing i had to shill out for was the salvage but worth it

  7. and what is 'average' in an MMO with diverse playstyles, power selection and slotting you either have a team that gels together and has a great time or you have one were everyone does their own thing and you end up with a sore head you can't measure people with the yard stick of common sense because some people have none

  9. Secondarys can play a big role in how effectively you can grab aggro and/or mitigate damage several powers from the tanker secondarys have secondary effects such as knock-up, knock-down, stuns, holds or even fear effects such as burn

    Something laptop users like me will find very hard to use. Would be helpful, but so long as we're slow, TS isn't essential

  12. i like foot stomp with my Invul/SS get them nice and tight then hit'em with foot stomp knocks them all to the ground giving you or your team a few seconds of respite from attack or to launch an attack or aid self
  13. Energy Aura, Super Reflexes & Ice Armour are defence based sets - others such as stone, invul, wp etc use combinations of resistance/defence or in the case of wp includes +Regen and -foe ToHit

I can't think of my tank without it improves survivability greatly in melee combat but i have heard these words spoken before by players but as MaX pointed out understanding the game mechanics is important especially where invul is concerned a tight nit group will provide a good bonus to defence but other players probably think that invincibilty grants high defence right of the bat.
  15. i only ever found it hard to manage aggro when rage crashed but now that isn't the case with the changes in the new patch but i'm still pushing for a increase in the taunt cap more aggro plix!

    Energy punch i haven't had in my build since i5 best to maximise on what you have barrage isn't really worth slotting imo slotting bone smasher, whirling hands, Energy Transfer, Total Focus and stun if you decide to take it, it's pretty good for near perma-mez on a boss but it's mainly down to slots but not everyone plays the same or thinks the same when it comes to a tank look at builds, power choices, slotting find what you like/don't like adapt and change to suit you no point in being a carbon copy of someone else

    i would gladly do SS and EM for the tanker secondaries only issue is finding the time to do it if a get a free minute tomorrow night i'll try my best to remember to record some demos

    tanks do go through some strange patterns at low levels wether it's having 2 travel powers before picking taunt having flurry and teleport than stamina or picking kick - tough when your primary shields are much better resistance/defence

    this behaviour has sometimes translated into the later levels one invul i happened to see didn't take dull pain till after unstoppable my first thought was 'botched respec?' but who knows why they do such things
  22. will try and make it if i can get home in time will be a bit of a race but my empath Protector-Bot or my tank Phobos will be up for doing the TF
  23. The only problem i've had in PvP zones with my empath other than griefing, being 'primary' target and pestered for buffs is being asked to 1 vs 1 a stalker when i have 2 attacks and not very good ones
