Yeah... servers up... logged in... chose server.. got my char in-game. Under a minute later "Mapserver Disconnected". That's where I'm at now. This is.. I believe.. about 5 hours after maintenance started.

I would have purchased this in a heartbeat... for $4.00. Yes, a clean, even $4.00, not even $3.99 (does that seriously still fool people?).
As it is, nothing in there appeals to me in the slightest, it's money they lost for overpricing. It's set to OVER half the price of other packs that include costume pieces and temp powers. Please guys, rethink, you're losing money by trying to make it the wrong way.

It does indeed appear as though it's fixed. The report says you've got a driver version slightly newer than mine (which works fine but is soon to be updated). Your sound card drivers seem to want updating too, although they aren't as important for the smooth running of the game.

I got the "DB Server" error too, on Protector. This is an hour after maint is supposed to finish. I eventually tried Freedom, which shortly thereafter crashed... I didn't even get to load my character. And I just now got disconnected from Protector (yeah I did eventually get on) and I load characters, it freezes and throws the "You must fill out the account and password fields to log in to your account!" error even though I'd already been into character selection. Major issues since maintenance.

Okay Update: I've tried logging into characters on Justice, Freedom, Pinnacle, Champion, Protector and Virtue. I finally got on after creating a NEW character on Liberty.

The forums I don't mind so much... when the game itself won't even allow me to log into some servers and load characters on others. Only since the maintenance.

Thanks for the tip. I played with the settings and it seems to be a conflict between Environment Reflections and Water Effects. Oddly it went away after I turned the reflections up. It comes back again though if I turn them down. Quite a nuisance really...

As the title says, since today's patch most (or all?) water in the game flashes when my Water Effects settings are set to High or Ultra High.

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1095T
Graphics card: AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870
RAM: 8 GB

No I haven't tried updating the drivers yet, however I do know that the problem appeared with the latest patch.

As I type this, the patch notes are still not up on the official website.
Additionally a rough calculation suggests, to me, that the patch notes went up on the forum about 12 hours after the maintenance finished. That is however rough math from someone who scraped through so I'm up for correction.

I am quite happy we actually get patch notes, in some form. However I find it a bit dissapointing that despite being told they will be available, both on the website and forums at time of maintenance, that they are given to us so long after the fact.

All that said, I too am happy they're trying to nerf farms. I don't however see farms as an issue on the server I frequent. They haven't been since i15 and are becoming quite a lot less so as people simply get bored of them.

All those suggestions look interesting.. but how about FIXING the skirt animations... currently we just have the shorts/pants animations copied to skirts... it DOES NOT WORK. Have you ever seen a skirt act like that offline? Really?

I actually got onto the shop a handful of times in the first hour and found... NOTHING! That was about 1 or 2 hours ago... time is kinda fuzzy right now. I since stopped bothering, it's 3am and I'm gonna try again when I wake up later.
