Phoo, I think FF8 deserves that title. :P
FF9 went away from the more serious look of 8 (and to some degree 7), making things more cartoony, but it regained a lot of the fantasy that FF was starting to lack. <_<;;
And I'd consider there to be four FF titles for the Playstation, as Tactics is just as developed as the other three games (stuff like Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon, the racing game, and other things, were not quite so developed...). -
Not counting any costume pieces I unlock, or get as recipes (or acquire from new boosters), I typically stick with my first costume choice as the first slot's outfit (I might alter an aura at 30, if there's something else I'd prefer).
If I'm looking for a different style entirely, then I'll use that in another costume slot. >_> -
Oh yes, made quite a few based on a name/backstory that sounded good... and deleted quite a few of those as well, either from not playing well, or not being played at all.

I start messing with IO sets at the lv27 and up range, when I'm 24, here and there, mostly based on drops and some low-cost auction bids. I'll go full throttle on sets once I can start acquiring lv30+ IOs (lv 27+).
I usually don't plan ahead on what set goes into what power, but I tend to use standbys like Thunderstrike or Ruin for my ranged attacks, and Efficiency Adapter for Stamina/Quick Recovery.
I usually wait til at least 27 to slot common IOs, if not higher, since 30s are better than even-con SOs, but not as good as +3 SOs. These will go into powers that don't take sets, or powers I don't intend to use a set on.
You can slot set IOs in two ways: one is basing it on whatever bonuses that set will offer by having multiple parts in a single power, or, two, by mixing different sets into the same power to have the higher possible combination of stat-boosters (for instance, Acc/Dam from two different sets, then Acc/Dam/End from two sets, for a mess of accuracy and damage, with a bit of endurance reducer, with only using four slots). This is commonly referred to as "frankenslotting". -
Heyas! =^_^=
*gives Pyrokinetix a peppermint* >_>/@ <.< -
The majority of my characters join into my SG on the day they were created, so I can just check that info. However, that doesn't apply to older characters that existed before the SG came around, nor characters on other servers than my main...
So, yeah, I'd like to know if there's a "Created On This Date", or even a "Character has existed for X Days", command to find out. <_< -
I'm going to say Option 2. Everytime an older costume piece is replaced with something newer, even for a small change, there's an outcry over it (how much of one depending on the piece). Might as well keep everything we have, and just add more. <_<
Now, a bit of reorganizing of the menus would be nice. Perhaps options for listing stuff alphabetically, or giving parts with long menus, like Chest Emblems, split-up lists (Chest Emblems could be "Symbols", "3D", and "Characters", for the numbers and letters). -

Woohoo, catsi b-days! <_<
Mew must prepare the Royal Paddle. >_>/
But first, the Mewtropolis Chorus! =o_O=\m/
Happy Birthday!

I've played a Kin/Regen scrapper to 22 before crossing over to Paragon. With the size of the Praetorian spawns, as well as the numerous ambushes, the early Quick Recovery of Regen was helpful to keep me in the fight.

I soloed most of my way to 50 on a Mind/Thorn dom. The problem I had with control sets is the early immobilize, since it doesn't prevent an enemy from shooting you with whatever ranged attack it has. Mind doesn't have an immob, it has a Sleep instead, which was more useful to me.
Once I got to six, Confuse was available, and a three-man spawn was easy-peasy. Confuse one, wait a moment to see who he attacks, Hold that target, then Sleep the third. Blast the held target til it drops (with assistance from a confuzzled enemy), then Hold sleeping beauty, and blast him, finalizing the spawn by wiping out the confused fellow (the Hold animation has a "hold hands on head", which makes them look like they've gone into angst-mode for clobbering their pals :P). -
Great video.
I like how you showed the choice at the end.

I've been monkified once, but at the start of a door mission, not in a fight. I've also teamed with somebody who got monkied, as well, and heard others have it happen to them in global chat.
Personally, I wouldn't mind a nicely designed badge, with a useful title, but badge hunters might get peeved if they think the devs are "forcing" them to come up with 10 bucks for each new badge. <_<;; -
An arena, eh? <_<
*sends in the lions*
*dozens of catgirls appear*
=O_o=
Guess that'll do... <_<;; -

catsi must practice clean brain-scrubbin'. <_<

Isn't catsi normally naked? <_< Being a small, black cat and all.. >_>;;

And to think I used to have trouble understanding Rikti... these guys, though... =o_O=

Woo hoo, cakes! =O_O=
Thankies, all. =^_^=b
*leaves some peppermints*
(Just noticed there isn't a cake icon. <_< Do I need to change a setting, or does the new forums not do that anymore? =o_O=) -
Oh yes, indeed. I've got some standby villains that I'd like to shift to heroside, and a few concepts for new Praetorian characters, but no heroes-to-villains yet.
It's just that I'm close to the 36-character limit on my main server... <_<;; -
I approve of this accessory. =o_O=b

You only betray your Patron on the second arc, so you could just do the first arc, gain the Patron powers, and leave it at that. <_<
Or, you could justify your actions as "heroic" as what each Patron is trying to do might be detrimental to the people of the Islands.
Quote:This is part of the problem I have with villain-side contacts and NPC dialogue. All this "fear me, fool" stuff is fine when you're low level, but by the time I'm in the 30s, and hanging out in Martials, I want to tell Hardcase to stick it where the wailers shine, and help crazy Carnie lady blow up stuff. >_<Were it up to me, every character that has taken her as a Patron would let her succeed and tell Arbiter Daos to go stuff it and he can send out as many goons after me as he wants, I'll smoke 'em all.
And by the time you're in the 40-50 range, you're dropping Arachnos troops all the time in missions, as well as getting around to your GV missions, that Daos's threats seem empty... -
