    I never got anything generic'ed myself, but I do remember running into a couple of doozies..

    Like a Stone/Stone tank, completely brown costume in the stone skin motif, named Butt Mud...

    A kin/energy defender that ran around, in tighty-whities mind you, named Teen Pillow Biter...

    Havent seen either in a while.

    Ultra-mode is great! The new shades and refelctions really breathed new life into the game.

    I do agree with this statement. New civilians and new cars moving around the city would be a HUGE improvement. However, I doubt it would have anything to do with Ultra-mode. I believe they would actually have to pull all the current civilians out of the game in order to put in new ones.

  3. It has been mentioned that vigilantes/rogues will not be able to trade with the oppsite factions. However, it has also been mentioned that inspertaions will be the exception to this rule.
  4. If I'm a hero that goes vigilante, and travels to the Rogue isles, will I still be in my SG, or do I get kicked out for going vigilante?

  8. *sigh*... you know you have too much free time when you actually put thought into this...

    1 - Dual 9mm, light weight so it won't slow you down. As for a melee weapon, I'd go for a shovel, 'cause it qualifies as both a blunt and edged weapon

    3 - Some place Familiar, easily defendable, and well stock with food. There's a reason alot of Zombie movie/games are made around shopping malls. A shopping mall in Canada is even better

    Ya, after 4+ years, I've been feeling burnt out for a while now.

    It's to the point where even a new issue left me feeling burnt out... and failed to catch my interest. I also only logged in the halloween event twice so far (once to get the badges, once to help out a friend). I'm hoping GR is going to fix my decreasing interest in this game.

    In the mean time, I've been keeping myself busy in that other MMO, as well. It's a refreshing change of pace. L4D also helped when it came out last year, nothing like shooting zombies in the head to get rid of the blues Their PvP is also quite addicting. And since it came out, they added another game (survival) and recently added a new campaign (crash course).

    However, before this burn out feeling started sinking in, and I was just getting slightly tired, something that helped perk up my interest again was setting myself some goals. Things like: getting one level 50 of every AT (did that 3 times over hero side, working on forth generation now), work on specific badges (668+ i think on Ycebergg), purp/slot up your toons (got 3 of my 16 50's done), work on the SG (currently 8th on the server, with biggest possible base size), etc etc etc.

    But again, as previously mentioned in this thread, people is the real reason you will want to come back after such a long time in a game. It's what keeps me coming back.

  11. Ok, did some more testing. This wasnt mission related since I'm doing it in every mission now.

    After further testing, Freezing Touch doens't actually stun, but rather has the target perfom the stun emote, while in the ice immob vfx. The target is actually held, and taking damage as he usually did. The visuals are the only thing affected right now.

    I also noticed my other ice hold will have the ice block vfx (as normal) but the emotes the targets perform are the stun emotes, and not the proper held emotes.
  12. Ok, I don;t know if I'm out of the loop or is this a known issue.

    So I'm on my ice/ice blaster tonight, and I'm playing him as usual. I use the power freezing touch out of the blaster ice secondary wich is a melee range, single target, foe hold. Only now it does immobilize with a chance of stun.

    Was this power changed? Is it a known issue? or am I just special?

    Really Glad I decided to read the legal stuff before even bothering trying to enter this contest. It's a shame, too. I'm real proud of my arc and tho it might not have won certain awards, I'm sure it would at least have gotten some honorable mentions...

    Sorry about the confusion all. We had a late start due to trying to figure out what was going on. We ended up starting at 10pm eastern instead of 9.

    We finished with no deaths and won the badge. Tho I must admit we had quite a few close calls...

    During the second mission, when Reichsman spawns to ambush the team after we defeat his portals, we all ran to the door, but the AV intercepted our storm defender, damn near killing him. And for some reason, three tanks couldnt seem to taunt him off of him. Thank goodness we had 2 ice defenders to keep him alive.

    The other close call was during the final battle. Whenever Reichsman did that lightning AoE, 2 or more players would end up in the red... and the only heal we had on the team was a storm defenders single target heal. The AV also managed to stun 2 of the tanks (we had 3). And even with 3 of us taunting him, he would sometime loose interest and do a 180 to face the squishies.

    Thanks to all that joined, and to all that sighned up. Now that I have both Mo badges on my main, I'm open to help anyone who still needs it.
  16. I'm open to any suggestions at this point. I just need to know if T meant he, kid and Blue were coming, wich would mean we'd be 5 so far. If that's the case, I also need to know what they would be bringing.

    On a side note, I forgot Heroes was playing tonight, so start time will be 9pm eastern.

    I will check back on this thread after I get back home from shopping.

    Since I'm off today and tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in running a MoKTF attempt tonight? Let's say arounf 7-9pm eastern?

    For those that might not be familiar with the term, MoKTF = Master of the Kahn Task Force. So this means, no temp powers allowed and no deaths allowed during the task force (in this case, the Kahn Task Force found in Founders Falls)

    Post here if your interested! Please write the name of the toon you want to bring, your global, and his level/powers.

    IIRC, last time they put an event on test for us to abuse (errr i mean test), only lasted 2 hours. So bumping it up to 6 is actually an improvement.
