  1. That will be funny seeing someone go back and forth. A hero or villiain that can't make up their mind on being good or bad.

I know one thing for sure, I am not leveling up my Night Widow anymore in the event that they allow you to pick up content appropriate to your current level once you make the change.
  2. Well one thing I can tell is that you are lacking defensively. I wouldn't worry too much about buying purples unless thats your thing. Night Widows don't need to have perma Mind Link if cap ranged and melee defense. I would play around with different sets to get the most out of your build. I would show you my build but I am kind of stingy when it comes to her.

Repost your build using the short forum and also post what your positional defense is using this build.
  3. If you run Cloaking Device you will get defense while its running and when you attack. The difference is that the amount you get when you attack is a suppressed amount. Cloaking Device's main function is to set you up for Executioner's Strikes but if you slot the power you can get good defense since its +def to all.
  4. Oh that's awesome thank you so much. I just noticed that you can hover over the amount and it gives you a breakdown in Mids.

    Very much appreciated.
  5. Ugh I don't think thats right.

Foresight provides base 7.5% not Mask Presence. According to Mids and the game power attributes itself Mask Presence is providing base defense of 2.5% unless I am seeing incorrectly.

Right now with my Red Fortune set slotted I am getting 3.93% according to the in-game data.
  6. I know the base value. My question is that how much of that suppresses once you attack?
  7. I have finally started to work on my IO build for my Fortunata but came across something that never really crossed my mind on my Night Widow.

How much does Mask Presence suppress when you attack? The reason I ask is because I was looking at Mids and noticed that my Fortunata is nearly capped in melee if it doesn't suppress and this is something I never cared about on my Night Widow because she is capped to melee and ranged without me worrying about Mask Presence suppressing.

As to going rogue and side switchin SoAs
I pray that we can't switch, though I'll
guess we can. Its one of the aspects of
the going rogue that will likely be my
    end of this game.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Why? Do you like being limited?
  9. [ QUOTE ]
Of the 4 SoA, Fortunata solos the best. Not because she kills the fastest. It's more because she has the defense, mez protection and CONTROL to counter most things you can see when you solo.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Who cares about control when the target you face is dead? I understand where you're coming from, but controls or no controls dead is dead regardless.

A new change on test is making Widow Smoke Grenade autohit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Really? That's awesome. I wonder if the same will apply to Smoke Grenade for Devices.

I really dont understand how you could have an SoA or Widow switch sides. SoA's are supplied by arachnos, (Omega Maneuver, archnobots etc) So I would imagine switching would cut you off.

Besides, then you wouldnt be a Soldier of Arachnos, you'd be a Soldier Formerly Known as of Arachnos, and that just doesnt have the same ring to it.

So honestly, I dont really wanna see the possibility to switch sides with the SoA/widows... but on the other hand, I REALLY want an evil warshade. All Lovecraftian and such. And while I dont think it would make much sense story-wise, it is probably a neccesity to have both able to switch sides.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You're looking way to deep into the title Soldier of Arachnos.

You're a SoA until you pick a specilization at which point you become a Night Widow, Crab, etc. There is so much disorganization and backstabbing within Arachnos it is VERY possible to still be supplied with arms while fighting against them. Look at the story as you run through missions in CoV, many of the contacts are within the organization but do things that can hurt as well as benefit Arachnos.

Also an Evil Warshade is nothing more than a Nictus so its not like they don't exist already. Unless you are refering to just having a Warshade in the Rogue Isles.
  12. My Night Widow is hero 100%, but I will defnitely be leaving my Fortunata as a villian because she is sinister through and through.
  13. They aren't for everyone just like each AT isn't for everyone.
  14. The reason I take the Fitness pool on a Arachnos Widow build is because I never take travel powers with them. Depending on the build you have or will want you may want Stamina since Fort powers don't have a lot of downtime and spamming attacks can drain endurance, but again that depends on your build preference.
  15. Very nice.

I've always liked the idea of characters that have stories which tie them to past lives that are opposite of what being a Heroe or Villain is.

My was betrayed by Lord Recluse when he asked her to kill her parents as a show of loyalty and that is where her story leads her to Paragon to seek out Agent Indigo.
  16. It has always been my plan to take her to Paragon City. Her story is Longbow related so this will be perfect for us.
  17. Well its not like you go after groups that have higher than the base 1.0 psi resistance. I just avoid groups like Rularuu, Council (sometimes), and even though some Carnies are higher than base I love Carnies so I go after them anyways, and as long as you aren't fighting groups that resist psi you do damage on par with other blaster sets.
  18. If I were you, once you make level 22 I would slot level 22 common IOs and keep those slotted until you reach level 37 and make your IO sets level 40.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
i ned to kill 61 carnies were can i find them.

There is something called "mind your business," it's great.
  21. Nothing other than what you mentioned regarding waist capes.

    2nd Uniform

Well due to my impatience, I ended up just making a Fortunata character so now I have no use for the 2nd build on my Night Widow or Fortunata since I have one of each now.
  23. The cap for set bonuses is 5 of the same bonus so if you have three sets of Numina which gives 12% that means you can only have the 12% bonus 2 more times from ANY set that provides it.

I don't understand what you are asking below. If you are expecting your combat attributes to say 12% bonus under the regen section you won't see that. The attributes will say which IO set is giving you that bonus so that is the simplest way to tell.

Level 50 normal IOs and SOs will not say anything in your attributes, they will just increase the heal of the power they are slotted.

High Pain Tolerance doesn't grant +regen it grants +HP which will attribute to higher regen/sec since your total HP will increase. There is no listing under Regeneration for High Pain Tolerance.

You are only going to see Rise to the Challenge boost your regen when you have enemies around you otherwise it will remain low.

Serendipity is the tiny bonus, Scirocco and the Luck of the Gambler are the large bonus, and Numina is the huge bonus.

    How this helps you.
