This issue may have already been addressed but does anyone know why this power doesn't support accuracte to hit debuff io's?

If it is anything like the Blaster version I think because it is an auto hit power which doesn't make sense because it take acc enhancements.

I have a ton of hours on my AR/Dev, but this is 'partially' true.

The -perception portion hits every time. But the -to hit takes a hit roll to actually effect. (And I belive in PvP, neither part is auto-hit.)

It ultimately makes no diffrence, the -to hit is pretty minor and not worth slotting in most cases.

A new change on test is making Widow Smoke Grenade autohit.

It might be similar to why TA's flash arrow accepts ACC enhancements. The power is entirely auto hit, except in pvp. In pvp it has a to-hit check so can slot acc.

I am confused by this post. I just got smoke grenade this morning and added an -tohit debuff enhancement. I then replaced it with an accuracy enhancement since it was missing a lot. What are you guys referring to/ I am a Night Widow using the smoke grenade power and those enhancements were availble. BTW as a nice aside on this power, you can run right up to the mob you wish to kill and not draw aggro when you are stealth'd whereas you normally cannot do this as a NW and so do a buildup from a small distance away. This power allows me to step right next to my victim and then do build up and then attack from stealth.

The animation on Smoke Grenade can be deceiving. Because the toHit debuff portion of the power requires an accuracy check, the game will display "Miss" if it fails to land.

However, the -Perception debuff is auto-hit regardless of whether or not you see "Miss" or the cloud of smoke that surrounds enemies when they're being affected by the -toHit debuff.

Thanks for explaining that to me Timeshadow. So now I wonder if the ACC enhancement I have slotted on it will actually effect anything.

It'll affect the chance for the toHit debuff to land on all enemies within the area of effect.
