Quote:Merits are the same for failed or successful missions. The rumor I heard that if you fail 2 LGTF missions, you'll get 1/2 merit reward, turned out to be just a rumor.Doesn't failing missions on TFs/SFs drop the amount of merits you get? At least, that's what I think I remember... or was it just a rumour?
BTW, very often, the speed runners are vet TPing Penny insted of killing her, so they failing only 3rd mission. -
Quote:Did she logged off while being on team or solo?She only plays on freedom, my main server. And she will show up online, after shes logged off.... and I've logged off. and logged back in, 8 hours later (after I wake up) it will still show her online.
wut? -
Quote:There is one legitimate case when you see only "Remove" and "Chat". It happens when your gfriend is on the different server than you.New one, global friends list. This has happened on a few occasions, its showing people online who haven't been online since last night. When right clicked all you get is "Remove" and "Chat" But it still shows their character name that they played last as "Online" even though they aren't.
There is also case (which isn't new, it's been around for a while) when player logs off while being on the team. You will see them in gfriend list as online, but Shard (server) field will be blank. -
Quote:Good idea... While at it, wouldn't it be nice to have ability to convert inf into tokens as well?I realize that it can be a hardware limitation but there are ways around it. The market itself is all ready being used as a way around that. Here's a simple solution. When they go through the data base of bids they can "convert" those bids into a non-transferable "salvage". Make each salvage worth say..... 500,000,000 influence (to save potential bit overflow problems when cashing in or, first creating, the tokens). When the markets are merged those salvage tokens are placed in that character's inventory. Even with the hardware limitations you could still store 2 billion "500,000,000 influence tokens" on a character so again no problem.
When the player wants to convert a token into influence. Double click on it and get a confirmation message that proceeding will convert 1 token into 500,000,000 inf "are you sure you want to do this?".
Making it a one way conversion process makes it a temporary way (which was the requirement) to store the excess inf that is all ready being stored in a similar manner by using the market in a manner "not intended". -
Quote:Not really... If there is no more ridiculous artificial limitations for vigilanties and rogues, I'm going to move my heroes to vigilanties and villains to rogues and leave them at it.That's your confirmation, folks.
Which means a few things:
1) Say goodbye to the Rogue Isles.
2) The markets, in a sense, will be merged because everyone will be at WW, anyhow.
3) Those of us that will be taking hero ATs redside should either group up or plan on soloing a lot.
4) Nobody will want to stay a Rogue very long. -
Are devs opposed to an idea of merged market itself or it is more opposition due to percieved or real problems with implementation of merged market? Any ideas?
As I can see it from implementation point of view, they would have to cancel all outstanding bids/offers before merge takes place. Without increasing inf cap, it might affect many players causing them to lose inf.
On another hand, if bids/offers stay intact during transition, due to huge disparity of WW/BM prices someone is going to lose/win big during merger. -
Quote:hmm... I saw "Recharge time bonus" in attribute monitor hitting red in excess of -1000% during hami raids or LGTFIn more detail: The reason the key is a factor of 5 is due to the way the recharge calculation works.
Recharge = BaseRecharge / (1 + RechargeBuff%)
Where BaseRecharge is the time it normally takes the power to recharge, RechargeBuff% is the total recharge buff affecting the power (this includes recharge enhancements, set bonuses, and powers like Hasten or Speed Boost); the value is the percentage buff (eg, 70% from Hasten) divided by 100 (eg, 0.70 from Hasten). Recharge is the time it will take for the power to actually finish recharging.
Since the cap on RechargeBuff% is 400% (or 4.00), the best recharge you can get is:
Recharge = BaseRecharge / (1 + 400%) = BaseRecharge / (1 + 4.00) = BaseRecharge / 5
In reverse, the floor on RechargeBuff% is -75%, so the worst your recharge can be is:
Recharge = BaseRecharge / (1 + -75%) = BaseRecharge / (1 - 0.75) = BaseRecharge / 0.25 = BaseRecharge * 4
Note that if the game somehow let you get to -100% recharge, it would run into a divide-by-zero error. Fortunately, it won't let that happen -
Quote:It is known behaviour and it was around long before i16. For example, instead of using chopper in 4th mission LGTF, you can enter through the door nearby...In kings row, the Pocket D truck, theres doors nearby. If you click on them, they will behave much the same way Trick or treating does with mobs if the mobs pop up in a different door down the way, these doors behave like the ones on the truck taking you to pocket D as well.

Yeah, you need 106-107% global recharge with 3 slotted hasten to make it perma

Quote:EDIT: If there really is a "all level 34" bug - which would make sense as an accidental consequence of the no-TF-difficulty temporary workaround- this just got a lot easier.
It was introduced even before "no-TF-difficulty temporary workaround" - from the first day of i16 -
Quote:I don't think it's a bug. Most likely trick MOBs have ambush AI and these would ignore all pets and go after ownerNew issue, on my merc/pain MM on freedom, the Trick mob AI seems to be rather single-minded. Normally mobs go after whoever is beating on them the hardest. Nope. sorry I just stand there while my minions do all the dirty work and yet every mob that pops out of those doors has tunnel vision going directly for me not caring about the 6 other guys with guns blazing. Any other mob thats not a ToT mob usually goes for the minions first unless I aggroed them first. Even then however they switch target to one of my minions instead of me but not ToT mobs, oh no. They are dead-set on removing my head from my shoulders. I could put my minions right on the door and put them on agressive, click the door and run a good 20 meters away.
The ToT mobs will push through my minions (even though they are damaging them like crazy) and head straight for me. This seems like a huge bug with the mob AI.
Just tested 3 times, I went as far as I could while the door was still opening and with 6 minions all firing, the mob was chasing ME down the street. -
Currently, all 1-10 spawns, including Mary herself, are level 34. It is either silent TF nerf or bug. I'm cosidering it as a bug.
edit: In my opinion all def KHTF >>>>>>>>> than all blaster KHTF -

Quote:I farmed Pither's arc for overseers. Last mission, set to x8, yeilds around 30 overseers on average. I'd recommend to set it with no Bossesaccording to paragon wiki it counts, so hopefully I can still catch Pither cause I'll be forever getting to the end of Scirocco's lol. Killing 100 overseer bosses is out of the question, god they're brutal.
. Depending on what AT you are playing, you might get great advancements in your debt badges too.

For long time I'm experiencing sporadic complete system freezes. It happens from 1-2 times a month to 2-3 times per week. Only way out of such freeze is powercycling. It seems to be most often triggered by kin's or rad's heals.
I'd blame my hardware for that, but, unfortunately, by the time it's frozen, there is nothing I can do to check what is wrong with my system. -
Just be aware that some enemies can even see through stealth cap. These are rikti drones, Knives of Artemis, Rularuu, and I think nemesis and crey snipers

Quote:You can farm Dark Watcher's arc for Fakes tooBah, you heroes have it easy...
I'm facing this issue but on redside. 'Parently there's only the occasional few that spawn on a beach in Grandville (at about 50th level or so) and the Television missions.
I was hoping to get my AR/Kin Corr the unlockable rifle sooner than that...Still, he's at 39 right now so it's not that far off I suppose.

Quote:In FBZ you can also farm Paragon Protectors and CoT mages at the same time as you farm FakesI'm one of those peeps that also enjoys hunting them in FBZ, mostly because there's less of a crowd there with which to compete. Takes a little bit to get there, but there are usually plenty of Fakes to hunt

Quote:http://www.vidiotmaps.com can be very useful, as it provides enemy groups and their level ranges for every areaWhat is the name of the place in the Shadow Shard where I can hunt Fake Nemesis? Where is it in realation to Firebase Zulu?
Thanks for any help! -
What!? People are still doing AE missions!? Shocking!
