I'm crashing. I've crashed before, but this is different.

I just kind of go to a pixelated, mutilcolored screen of death and the whole system is locked.

Its been going on for about 3ish days now. seems once a day. then smooth sailing... it's very odd.

anyone else? any ideas?

You would to post the diagnostics for more details, but that sort of problem makes me think overheating or power supply issue.

I'm running into the same problem. I'll post all my diagnostics as soon as I get a chance.

For long time I'm experiencing sporadic complete system freezes. It happens from 1-2 times a month to 2-3 times per week. Only way out of such freeze is powercycling. It seems to be most often triggered by kin's or rad's heals.

I'd blame my hardware for that, but, unfortunately, by the time it's frozen, there is nothing I can do to check what is wrong with my system.

Update Vista to SP2 and install all the recommended security updates.

If it were me, I'd free up some space on the C: drive to see if that helps any, and also I'd lower the PhysX Quality to High.
