Managed to cobble a team together... but what a great team it turned out to be... flew through the TF in 2hrs 45mins.

Used the merits for random drops and got :-
Siphon Insult - Chance for +to hit 5k+
Numina's Convalescence - Heal/Recharge 7m+
Soverign Right - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance 1k+
Analyze Weakness - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge Kept

Will probably do SSTF3 on saturday, same time.... if i get my empath upto lvl 44 in time.

[/ QUOTE ]If you are actually in NY, then you are actually only 5 hours behind, and with Daylight Saving time difference at the moment... it's actually only 4 hours until the 29/03/09 when it resorts back to standard time zone difference.

That said 5 hours wouldn't be much of a problem as prime time over here on weekdays is generally 9-12pm, so 4-7pm your time... which depending on your own personal preferences, could work or not work for you, as the case may be.

Somebody else said the same thing in another thread. Best advice would be to try again later. It has been working as got the Valkyrie Pack myself within the last week.

[/ QUOTE ]Generally TV trial takes 1hr - 1hr30, depending on whether 2nd mission is ghosted or not.

This trial would be even quicker, if it wasn't for all the wasted time waiting for each wave in the reactor at the end, this alone uses up at least 20-30 mins.

As ShadowGhost says, this can't work with mayhem missions.... because the timer starts from entering the mission, where as in a Safeguard, timer only starts after all bank enemies are defeated. Hope that clarifies it further.

[/ QUOTE ]Heroic was just about right, as we suffered a few defeats which a) helped to keep my emapth busy and b) gain him extra healing points. All in all, not a bad run... at just under 3.5 hours.

Hmm... im not usually a doomsayer, but things don't seem too bright for CoX's European future. However we're being reassured, it feels like clutching at straws rather than a long term solution.

Perhaps a server merge is inevitable, but I hope it never comes to that. I don't want to rename all my characters or stand even the remote possibility of losing my SG or base. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end, but a nagging voice tells me there's more to come.

Like many of you, I don't want this to happen... but inevitably it will, whether it takes 2 days or 2 years... eventually we will be recalled back to the mothership...!

What will annoy me if it happens sooner rather than later, is the money I recently spent bringing all my Union villains over to Defiant.

Bit harsh charging our European cousins £7.50 for it though seeing as the exchange rate is 1/1 at the moment. I can't imagine that posting to the EU is a lot more expensive than within the U.K. though..

Gonna get me a copy real soon, and helping a charity into the bargain, just seems like the correct thing to do.

When i14 hits... it would make perfect sense to re-release CoX as 1 stand alone game, with 2 discs (1 Mac and 1 PC), which would hopefully improve the initial start up time. [/ QUOTE ]None of these badges are hard to get Redside, all it takes is organisation. Do you consider them hard to get because they are located in specific areas (except the Rikti one obviously)?

All you need is 4+ people (an adequate team size) then descend upon the casino area in St. M (for Marcone bosses), goto the Fab in Grandeville (for Protectors), get a lower level alt on the team in Port Oakes/Mercy/Cap-A-D (to spawn Troll bosses in Paper missions)...

Ok granted, Doing paper missions and spawning bosses isn't the easiest unless you have either (a) a full team (b) rep set to highest level. Then you have to clear the map, leaving the end boss, and repeating.... but hey if you want something bad enough, then you may have to change your principles and farm/grind for them...

This is the only way to get the Illusionist badge, without waiting for 3 years or more And you need that Blueside to get a major accolade power!!
