A respec trial shouldnt have too much difficulty - they are usually quite popular and give good XP. Like you said though Dual Builds and veteran respecs will make them less of a necessity than they once were 
I switched to my 2nd build on my new Defender because I didnt want to have to go all the way to Galaxy City from Talos to respec before I bought enhancements so I just switche builds. Best bet is either join one of the badgehunter channels or broadcast in IP to see if anyone is interested!

By broadcast channel, do you mean [broadcast], or are you watching the appropriate events channel? Certainly on Defiant Events, people generally have no trouble filling up a repec trial. It's well worth subscribing to the channels, as a lot gets organized on them.

Some people forget that there are badges attached to the respec trials - not much to many, but it can help get peopl eto attend if they collect badges!
The channels I'd try for the English speaking servers are:
Union:
sals badgehunters

Union Taskforce
Defiant:
Defiant Events
DefiantBadgers
Of these the sals and Defiant Events seem the two busiest.
If you know when you fancy trying it, it could also be worth posting a thread on the relevant server board (e.g. Union Heroes). And don't forget to mention it in SG/Coalition channels and, if you're short, to ask anyone joining the team if they know anyone on SG/coal/friends who'd be interested.
BTW - the first respec trial is often better done with at least a few people at maximum level and who don't really need a respec... it'll be quite tough if you're all low level and have builds in desperate need of a rework!

An hour for a respec and some good xp can't be 'dissed'.

[/ QUOTE ]Generally TV trial takes 1hr - 1hr30, depending on whether 2nd mission is ghosted or not.
This trial would be even quicker, if it wasn't for all the wasted time waiting for each wave in the reactor at the end, this alone uses up at least 20-30 mins.

Really wish they added a difficulty setting for the final mission. So that at highest difficulty the timer between spawns would be nil and there'd be larger/more spawns. And that we'd get extra merits for completing at highest difficulty (something which is missing from merit rewards atm imo).
Let me explain the situation first. One of the characters i have created is a level 22 sonic/psi blaster wich i used to try out the game when i came back a few weeks ago. Since i didn't know a lot of things,i screwed up my first build and now i find even the second to not be exactly suited to my fighting style. So i want to respec to finally arrange my powers the way i like them.
Here comes the question: how long does it take to do the terra volta trial,and how difficult is to find the people interested in it? From the broadcast channel i see players have a hard time finding teams for task forces,and this one in particular,now that characters have 2 active builds to chose from,may be ignored by many. If you consider that i have to make another 2 levels before i can start the trial,i could end up wasting a lot of time and then be stuck anyway.
To remake a new character from scratch and bring it to level 22 again just takes a weekend,maybe less if i'm lucky.
So i'm wondering what is the less time-consuming solution,to rebuild a new char or try to level up the old and then do the tf,wich i never did before and don't know how feasible it is nowadays.
