EU servers

Hello all,

I was thinking about joining the EU servers, but with me being 7 hours behind or so, would it be worth it, me being in EST time zone. Also, If I added the EU acct to my exsisting account, how much more would it be?

If there are specific people you want to play with, it will probably be worth it.

But if you're just looking for the hell of it, it doesn't seem worth it to me if you already have the US version. You'll be paying the £10 box price ($14) and £9 a month ($12.50) for two more servers (more if you speak French or German) at a higher ping than the US ones, and you will not have access to any of your veteran rewards, epic ATs or booster packs.

Best bet? You already have a trial account, so give it a shot. See how many people are on at the times you can play, and how good the ping is, and then balance that against the expense.

[/ QUOTE ]If you are actually in NY, then you are actually only 5 hours behind, and with Daylight Saving time difference at the moment... it's actually only 4 hours until the 29/03/09 when it resorts back to standard time zone difference.

That said 5 hours wouldn't be much of a problem as prime time over here on weekdays is generally 9-12pm, so 4-7pm your time... which depending on your own personal preferences, could work or not work for you, as the case may be.

You can play on french and german servers and run in to whole teams of bilingual, multilingual people and even if no one speaks english, there is often nothing that needs to be said, as the play is pretty good overall. You don't have to worry about nothing from nobody really as they've usually got your back.

He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
