Hey PW, the reward timer for TFs is 18 hours now, not 24. However, that's for merits, I don't know if that applies to HOs or not.
-
I don't run two accounts, but I expect that system should be fine. The biggest thing for running two accounts on one PC is to use the /maxinactivefps x command. Set x to a low number like 3. That limits the fps of the account in the background, leaving the bulk of the PC's resources for the active screen. With that command you will need to enter it each time you start the game though.
Another option is to put "-maxinactivefps 3" in the path for the game shortcut, minus the quotes. That way it's always set when you start the game, and you don't need to enter it. Even if you don't run two accounts, it makes alt-tabbing to the wiki or mids much nicer. -

Quote:I have these same names for my Thug MM, exactly the same pet/name matches too."Adetia and Crew" Thugs/Pain
Bruiser- Mr. Blonde
Enforcers- Mr. Pink and Mr. White
Arsonist - Mr. Orange
Punks - Mr. Brown and Mr. Blue
I've also been using the greek alphabet for my bots MMs.
Drones- Alpha, Beta, Gamma
Protectors - Epsilon, Upsilon
Assault- Omega
However, I'm going to change the bot/storm's pets to more storm appropriate names, and likely change the bot/traps to match his concept as well.
For my ninja MM I'm using the 5 elements for the first two tiers, and haven't decided on the Oni (assuming I stick with it that long). -
Unfortunately, I'll likely have to miss it this time as my parents will be in town that day.
But I think I can save you some space in your mission summary, try this.
Agree to form the TF
Fight some Council, probably in an underground base.
Talk to some dude
Fight some more Council
Another mission where you defeat council, but this time in a warehouse, and this one has an AV!
Despite that mission list I have no doubt you'll all make it a fun time. -
I should be there as well.

Yay, congrats on the new job Dazz, and look forward to seeing you in game more.
And now, back to the candy I didn't give away, don't want it to go to waste. -
Hi Yeti, yep, the 10 million bullet Task Force, they did a few runs, but I was only on the first one. I was away the rest of the weekend. My global is @Night's Dawn, and the toon I played was Eibhir, my AR/dev. I don't remember if I teamed with you on that first run, but I know we've teamed up other times. Yes, things died pretty quickly on that TF.

Nice image, the spines look very nice. It's rekindling my interest in making my spine/elec scrapper using the crystal spines.
-
Heh, all scrapper and all blaster teams are great fun. It's kind of sad that some people are so stuck in the classic team makeup that they miss all the fun.
Regarding the all AR team, I was on an all AR ITF last spring. I believe the saying goes, "don't bring a knife to a gunfight", or axe in the Roman's case. We slaughtered them, and with very few deaths. Only the AR/EM blapper kept dying. (A blaster trying to melee a Mino rarely ends well, not to mention exploding crystals.)
The team was 7 blasters and one AR/dark corruptor. The corrupter no doubt helped against the AVs, but otherwise was too busy blasting to do much debuffing. Caltrops also helped mitigate damage.
Positioning was irrelevant, at least at a team level. There was no pulling or choke points. We all just charged in and opened fire, often engaging 3 spawns in one room. As one team member remarked on the lag valley mission, "Ambush, meet 8 Full Autos."
AVs were no problem either. Requiem, admittedly a weaker AV, dropped in well under a minute. For Rommy, we shot the nictus from range and then took Rommy out. I don't really remember the fight with Rommy, but also don't remember any problems. As mentioned, ignite would quickly burn him down, plus some had survellance, and of course our dark corr.
Oh, I do remember one problem with the Rommy fight. Three times, someone accidentally shot the nictus with LRM, a different player each time. We had to retreat and restart a few times.
Hmm, now I want to do that again, I'll have to see if I can get one going sometime. I also need to get a spiner leveled up so I can join your TFs Possible. I think spine/elec, I can't resist two damage auras, plus the spine AOE goodness. Just being there should melt them. -
I'll likely be there again, it was lots of fun last week.

Good luck Beany, and may your internet install happen quickly.

I've done these missions two or three times. Failed the first two on my MM and Stalker solo. Nearly did it with my stalker, but the MM was a mess. I had no idea what to expect that first time.
The third time I did it as a duo with two brutes. It took a while, but we managed to keep GW alive and defeat the EB and his minions. Even with two brutes, I still had t use inspirations, though neither of us died.
I wasn't aware of a bug, but now that I think of it, I believe I did notice the EB was 40 near the end of the fight the last time. We were both 37 or so. -
Quote:I did something like that, we were gathering to fight Deathsurge and some of us started pulling out our temp powers. After a few powers I realized I had Deathsurge targeted, but so far the power's ranges had been short enough nothing happened. The other day I'm on a PuG and we jet off to some smaller island in Talos I think it was and then stand around the door into the mission, waiting for the last guy to show up. I saw some dark indistinct shapes just down the beach so I targeted one and saw it was a red-con DevEarth, a RazorVine or something.
So a couple of minutes later talk comes up about how long everyone's been in the game. I mention I've been here for a few years and click to brandish my Black Wand as proof...
You can see where this is going, right?
Fortunately we were able to take him and his friends down pronto anyways, but I still felt pretty stupid.
Unfortunately, my realization came just as I clicked the next power, which had a long enough range to shoot him. Rather than pull him to our group I charged in, but he killed me, and then the others came to help. I was rezzed and we continued to beat him down, but I felt like an idiot. Even worse since some people missed the chance to fight him because I jumped the gun. -
Regarding the demon pets, I'm sure we'll get unique demons of some kind. Look at all the existing MM pets. They are all unique to MMs and none of them match NPC or enemy models.
-
Most MM pets don't need end redux slotting. Some that do are the protector bots, and I think the Lich, not sure what else. Even the pets that need end redux only need about 30 or 40%.
The pet summons were mentioned, but with the upgrade powers end redux reduces the cost to you. It doesn't affect the pet's end use, only end redux in the summon power does that. -
If you want the power customization files you saved, they'll be in a folder called Powercust. The live version of the game likely won't have that folder yet.

Quote:I also use macros for that reason, but I then bind the powexectray command to a key so that that key activates the macro.Excellent. i still prefer to use macros because otherwise you have to retype the bind every time you need to find a new enemy type. Also, my macros get pretty large after a while since at the higher levels i have a lot of secondary targets i set and forget beyond the target of the moment. Things like sorcerors, sappers, surgeons, cysts, quantums, voids, meat doctors and the like. i may be searching for "bomb", but i like to know if there's a sapper or the like around as well.

As mentioned the fly cap is 58mph. I have a scrapper with fly and no swift. Since the buff he has a fly speed of 56 mph with two level 33 Blessing of the Zephyr IOs. That's 58% fly speed enhancement, no swift and virtually capped speed.
Fly and swift with one SO each is easily enough to reach the cap. -
Do you have a stealth power to stack with the IO? The stealth IO itself isn't enough to let you sneak up next to someone, you would have to stay at least 10' away to prevent them seeing you. To stand next to someone without being spotted you need to stack the IO with some stealth power.
If you only have the IO that's why you get spotted, but that would apply at all levels and exemping would have no effect. If you have a power to stack with it at what level do you lose that power? If you exemp below your stealth power you would lose the stacked stealth and the IO by itself would not be enough. -

The channel is private now, you'll need an invite from one of the mods. From the "LBx has moved" thread; @Cap'n Punch, @Leper Kahn, @Cappy3, and @Biledriver. @Pigtails may be a mod again too, I'm not sure.

I have both the Numina and Regen uniques in my wp. I put them in Fast Healing. I put them there because I have that power at level 4 or so, but Health is at 24. So with the procs in Fast Healing I get the benefit all the way down to level 4 if I exemp. And yes, I ED capped the regen in Fast Healing.
Oh, and I didn't put them in High Pain Tolerance because I also have resistance slotted in it, so I didn't have the extra room there. -
Even deadly super powered assassins need their downtime.
