Pet Slotting

I'm a little confused on the slotting for pets. Both the pet and the upgrade powers can be slotted for end cost reduction. Is this for the power itself or reducing the pet's end costs on both?

Is there a list somewhere which spells out which slot types affect the pets and which affect the power itself?

End Redux slotted in summon powers both reduce the cost of summoning the pet and the cost of the pet's powers.

Recharge Redux slotted in summon powers only reduce the recharge of the summon powers, not the pet's powers (this is a change from earlier issues.)

Damage, Accuracy, and other enhancements (including Procs) apply to the pet's powers.

That help?

That helps greatly.

On this part quoted above, does the end redux stack on the pets since they are seperate powers? Or, does it just make sense to slot one of them for end redux?

I'm probably better off jumping to where this will end up, how do you folks normally slot your pet powers?

Most MM pets don't need end redux slotting. Some that do are the protector bots, and I think the Lich, not sure what else. Even the pets that need end redux only need about 30 or 40%.

The pet summons were mentioned, but with the upgrade powers end redux reduces the cost to you. It doesn't affect the pet's end use, only end redux in the summon power does that.

3 Acc/3 Dam for the minions, same for boss unless I have uniques (the +def or +res auras), in which case I usually sacrifice a boss Acc for one of those.

I play Bots and Thugs, so my Lt Minions have other things to do other than attack; my Enforcers are slotted for defense, to hit buff and damage, while my Protectors are slotted for defense, heal, and one accuracy/end redux (plus they hold my uniques).

Right now I have sets in my Battle Drones and Assault Bot for my Bots - Blood Mandate, for the Ranged Defence bonus (gets my Bots/Traps soft-capped to Ranged.)

Starting at L27 I frankenslot with L30+ pet damage IO's. I put in 3 Acc/Dam from whatever sets I can get cheaply and 1 damage, either a generic or one from a pet damage set if I want to get some set bonuses - not that any of them are really worth getting. That gives me slightly over 60% accuracy and ED capped damage and only takes 4 slots, leaving 2 for things like pet aura IO's, proc's, etc - what you put in the remaining two slots depends on the pet. For example on my thugs/traps I have a def IO and an achilles heel -res proc on my enforcers.

As for end reduction so far I have slotted it on my necro/pain MM's lich as I noticed he burned through a lot of end after the second attack upgrade and I am thinking about slotting some on my thugs/traps bruiser. When you get high enough level (40+) you can substitute higher level acc/dam/end reduction IO's for 1 or 2 of the Acc/Dam IO's I suggested above and still get about 60% Acc, capped damage and a little end reduction.
