You should put a proc in Brawl just for laughs.
Revenge of the Funk hits you with Brawl!
Mako's Bite, Chance of Lethal damage hits you for 81.3 points of lethal damage.
You have defeated Guapo Sombrero Senor!

Quote:Nice, only problem is XFunk might get stuffed and slow down from all that raw meat.I think if I'm projecting this right.....We might have a 7 team Ladder from the start. Hopefully that really does happen and eventually grows! :O
Also, Rad is 47.3...almost there then need to do Portal Jockey crap. -
I had something like that happen, some med-level vills zoned into my bubbler's Dreck farm so we Force Bolted them around and stuff. Eventually they laughed it off and hosped...back in Sharkhead.
Was pretty weird and you wonder how much more fun Mayhems/Safeguards would be if you could choose to fight other players in them. -
Very sad for your loss. Just know that though he is no longer here in the physical state, the memory and changes he brought in his life can never be removed.
Be strong.

Synapse please.
Cut out two defeat alls and one or two of the defeat boss missions, perhaps one patrol too. -
I don't like the new Posi tf's rewards and I don't like losing rewards for Numina.
Not enough Merits for Posi to make it worth running more than once and Numina is fairly short but losing influence/experience for the hunts is just brutal.
I used to run the old Posi daily for the Merits, the new one not so much... -

Congrats slacker, hope the grandkid gives you tons of joy.

I really miss the silent movie era beauties, it seems they didn't try as hard as modern ones, but still held a mystique of their own. That and those dresses must have been a ***** to get into.

Quote:Don't let Psoma discourage you.lol Vex. I probably ended up just dissuading people from wanting to play an emp after writing all of that out.
Healing Hank told me one thing:
"Just put Clear Mind on auto and follow a Blaster, pop Oranges and heal them if they aren't bastards."
It's worked for me and I've managed to parlay it into a mediocre emping career.
(Of course, the oranges aren't needed anymore, except as the occasional TP counter)
Seriously, it'll come instinctively when you're a buffer. You'll get into your routines of passing our Clear Mind, Fort, AB, identify the spike target and hit them with AP and HO, then take a lap, rebuff, em dance 4 around the Atlas statue, Phase too late, die, ragequit, curse in dUmb forums, show up at practice, slack off, make Slax and Psoma rage, play better in a match, cuss out Syph cos he went to watch heroes, wonder why you agreed to Emp in the first place, Blasters get all the cool boys, evade, give the team hope then implode at the two minute mark.
Also, animated tails help a lot.
Edit:
Actually, if any of you are interested in PvP and can install the Training Room, there will be a ladder soon. Peril is excellent at this PvP stuff and you can watch matches/practices etc once stuff gets rolling. I know dUmb is practicing there tomorrow night at 9:30 Eastern in Pocket D. Nothing like watching a match up close to see what goes on (other than taking 13,424,462,239,197 damage from Psy blasts, unprocced of course.) -

Quote:I imagine it's to prevent counter-picking within the time limit. Have one person disconnect and then be replaced by something that might hinder your opponent's line-up. I'm not sure this is a valid argument as line-ups seem so static these days that people are getting lazier and just bringing "what works" with some notable exceptions. The idea of the submitted line-ups seems to be to save time but generally both line-ups aren't always in simultaneously.lf another argument for line-up submissions besides that of start times.
Of course, we get back to the old ladder disputes about whether line-ups should be static anyway, with everyone running their 4 Psi/Em 2 Stalker 2 Emp line-ups or whatever is most efficient at the time. Not sure if that's useful as there is little enough diversity as is. -

PvP.
The competition is the reward, the IO drops are a nice bonus. -
I hear there's a Buckethead Ultramode on Guitar Hero or somesuch.
Guy lays down some mean riffs but doesn't seem to get much public/media appreciation (probably a good thing to be honest, media-wise)... -

Teams in-match keep track as well, pretty sure someone would notice 30 or 40 greens being used.
I don't see this as an issue at all, but certainly if yourself and other captains feel it merits attention, it can be talked about. Not seeing it very high on the priority list though. -
Quote:I don't think this is much of an issue, observers in and out of match tend to count out green inspirations used and you'd basically become a laughingstock if someone caught you using 40 greens or whatever.I don't know if this has been brought up or not. Another issue I feel needs to be looked at is the email healers (you know what I am talking about). However, untill the devs do something I suppose you can't enforce a rule.
You have to honour system it at this point, turn off emails under your settings and go from there. -

Quote:All the live teams already have all their stuff anyway. It's basically the Freedom ladder plus two or three other groups. >.>lol test, pvp for people too inept to earn their io's so they dupe them. Test is for people who can't hang on live
If Mebs joins that makes 3, I'd imagine BadBadGirl can proably throw together something. We should have 4-5 teams at some point. -
Quote:If you really want to teach people how to PvP you should sign up a test ladder team and challenge people there...we're all terrible on this server so it would really be like stealing candy from an armless baby...Alright some friends and myself from Champion are comin on over to teach you nubs how to PvP. I'll get you the lineup as soon as we hit 50 on our toons. May the battle of the servers begin.
