Push-ups, squats and leg lifts prior and after team formations.

I hardly ever use Praetoria anymore as it blocks me from getting two Mayhem missions.
Nice shiny content though. -
Quote:I got a KM/REgen Stalk 95% done (need 2 glad jav procs, well...and Alpha unlocked and slotted) and a bubbler somewhere.Thats fine girly. Will be rolling new alts after ish drops for a different type of lineup most likely start saving your tip moniez.
Also, pick up doyler and Kurgain, we needz moar Stalkerz. -

Sup Xanatos, PF.
Tried to read your line-ups stuff on our guild forums but it's buggy atm.
I'll move my TA and Emp over as soon as Freedom launches or I get bored enough to do it. -
-
It doesn't need fixing.
With the ability to switch sides, players can come and go as they please without being locked in.
If anything, I'd try adding a 30-35 SF or a 40-45 SF in the mix to make it a but more seamless, but the bad side is tons of fun, less bland than blueside and apart from doing the patron arcs for APPs, much more enjoyable. -
Quote:Used to get it by running a PvP mission (in Siren's?).Now, let's celebrate the coming of full circle by figuring out a way to make the Disruptor badge easier to get.
Put the bug back in, run a door mission, get a badge.
Or tie it to villain kills in epic tasks and so on. -

Smallz and I were testing some toons out on Victory when we noticed this bug:
Only selectable option is "No Observers".
All other options are greyed out, sometimes you can relog and it will "reset" your toon so you can set options.
Would really bite if this happened during the ladder. :/ -
Just ran a Bunker Buster/Avoid Green Stuff attempt on Pinnacle (we got Buster).
Trial starts out fun, great opening monologue and has a brisk pace but really breaks down around the third time you have to clear a reactor; if you didn't have to drag Anti-Matter around for two reactors it might be a little more palatable. The pulse gets old after the first few minutes as well, not sure how you can allay that without lowering the pulse damage or adding a little more time between pulses without making the encounter more trivial.
Overall it is fun, just seems a lot more tedious than the other two and a lot more work than the other two as well. -
I've never really liked Blasters for some reason. Sure, they do a lot of damage but I'm either having to carry a mix of Break Free/Reds/Blues or I'm out of endurance fairly quickly, or stunned/dead.
As far as powersets, don't particularly like Fire Armor. -
-
Generally they are PvP builds.
Exception is my SPider that has a MasterCrab build and a Bane Spider build that I switch between for multiple AV fights and so on. -
Quote:Gratz to eveyone, what powersets are 'murke and Adamantium?Grats to Hellmurke on winning the 1v1s. He takes home a complete set of Glad Armor PVP IOs and to Impure Adamantium for winning the FFA and takeing home a complete set of Glad Strikes PVP IOs.
Thanks to everyone who came out for the event. We had 22 take part in the 1v1s and I think 24-25 for the FFA. For the first FightClub tournament there were a couple of hiccups but the enxt one will be smoother.
Also, I'll be hosting regular 1v1s and small teams (2v2s and 3v3s) tournaments in the future as well with open classes and standard arena settings (no ts, no hd, 10 mins, with insps) so everyone can get a chance at some gear and peeps can get in some non-league play. -
- Less pulse damage.
- One less reactor drag (IE You only need Keyes for one reactor terminal thingy).
- Explain what the heck is going on with Entanglements.
- Give us temps to ward off some pulse damage, similar to the Hero Respec trial.

I'm lazy.
My new project KM/Regen Stalker needed some basic IOs so I dropped 30 million on them so I could keep playing the game. There were literally NO Heal IOs at the 30-40 range for sale (crafted) so I crafted those myself for a pittance. Could have done the same thing with the rest of the IOs but Mid-level sales (33) were so good I just dumped a bunch of inf back in the market. -
Not a bad list, but isn't it Galatine that young Arthur removes from the stone, while Excalibur is the returned version from the Lady of the Lake?
Good to see Stormbringer (and twin Mournblade) there...no Durendal (Roland's sword) at first glance though. -
Hmmmm
PvE:
I'd guess Slax from Infinity and Silas from Champion, they're both pretty hardcore powergamers and get things done while having fun with whatever they're on. Marut is up there as well, really polite and a leader to try and break new stuff.
PvP:
Too many to mention but....
- Vex, Dex, Hot for making the tedium a lot less so. Forums are always nice to read when they are around. Lots of laughs all around too.
- Doyler is always pretty relaxed and fun to team with.
- Ajax was great, always had advice and very friendly.
- Lib, Psoma, Trez, SIR, Slax, Siolffir, Trance all the gang from dUmb, great people to team with.
- XFunk for the hilarious times.
- Void for doing more on a SO'd Stalker than a lot of people with better builds.
- Budweiser, for all the crap he takes he has tried to keep interest going.
- Oz for being terminally angry and competitive.
- Masque for patience and mentoring.
- MAH for builds and advice.
- AngelsFist and the gang from HVND for kicking dirt in our faces and making us get competitive.
- Proj and Sabin and Stryker since I wouldn't have started to PvP without them around.
- TMK - The Mighty Kraken because Ice Blasters will return...
- Psyrene for being super chill
- Syphonics for finding out about the "Mute" button on Vent.
- CriticalKat for holding it together when everyone was trying to torpedo her events...
- Twixt for making people rage to this day.
Lots of memories, lots of fun, everyone made it interesting in their own way. -
I remember Friggin' Taser getting all the forums on his back because of jealousy/lack of a sense of humour/arguments etc back in the CuppaJo days.
Budweiser from Champion got threads locked on several servers for advertising an event on his home server.
X-Funk has trolled so many people, both on Pinnacle and elsewhere, that Community Mods have called him "a handful".
Champion used to have week-long flame wars over Hamidon raids...most notable between Captian_Blaze and Lord Stryker and others.
Enhancement Diversification thread that must have hit close to 300 pages... -
Congratz Swag (Psi/EM) and Smallz (Illusion/Emp) defeat Pixel (Fire/Therm) and MAH (Mind/Therm) 1-0-1 in the finals.
Scores were 0-0 draw on Industrial and 2-0 win on Cargo.
Thanks everyone for showing and putting up with the slow pairings.
Next time I'm gettting help. -
Quote:300 hours is insanely slow.Err... On what planet? I don't have a single 50 that's under 300 hours - that's three HUNDRED hours. And I don't exactly waste my time or play slow classes.
I don't know about four hours, but if you hitch yourself to the right AE team you will just burn through levels 1-25. 30-40 will take much longer and the final grind to 50 from 40 will likely take an hour or two hours or so.
I started a KM/Regen Stalker several weeks ago and got her to 31 from doing regular content, then got to 36 in 40 minutes just doorsitting in Architect Entertainment. The means are there if you're willing to ignore scripted content.
Quote:Even a good player, if you don't have a good self heal or destiny or green inspirations will die, at least on one's own. If you have a team member who can help this is less a problem, but relying on someone else to have a specific kind of skill and be able to be attentive to you and your health for you to live. A trial that needs somebody else to do something challenging, a specific trial reward that uses a lot of investment, and may be outside your abilities to never die? Kinda risky. Or you can just die.
There's no huge problem with death around here, but it is probably the least favorite thing you can do to a player's character- kill them, especially in an unavoidable fashion. Things that defeat the player's character are avoided almost universally. Why? People play this for a number of reasons, but I'd venture to guess that winning, being victorious, and feeling powerful are up there in the list, even if unconsciously. Having your level 50 faceplant gives the message "you're not strong enough" or "X is stronger." Make these semi-unavoidable, and you've got something people will shun to varying extents.
I feel completely powerless when I run Keyes. Insanely slotted heroes and villains die as if they were a mere fly on a desk. The deaths never stop either, just a constant grind from the hospital to the reactors then back to the hospitals, only to end up getting disintegrated later on. Sure, I can pop a few Respite inspirations when I see the damage coming in, that still doesn't make it fun.
In response to the OP, I run the content which is most efficient when grinding out Incarnate rewards. Keyes is inefficient (death to goal ratio is quite high), unrewarding (1 Empyrean <soon to be two?> and a few Astrals) compared to the others and immensely frustrating.
I will play the Underground Trial, but again if it features annoying insta-death mechanics, I will forsake it for the Behavioural Adjustment Facility or Lambda instances. The developers surely can railroad me into a trial for the next group of slots, and I will go that route and hold my nose doing so if it isn't enjoyable, but at this time I will not run Keyes and I'll withhold judgment on the Underground Trial. -
Quote:Just to address this and your last point, Controllers and Masterminds are not available in the F2P sub (you have to unlock Controllers and Masterminds) so TK would be locked from F2P players without Controllers unlocked (they could probably get it on a Dom, Defenders or villains). Other issues might arise from f2p as well in PvP (IOs come to mind).
Powers:
Honestly- who cares so long as they are available to everyone (and they are) its all good.
I don't expect this to be an issue for most of us though. -
I'm going to throw Scrapper in there.
As much as I like my Brutes, I dislike the build up (pun intended) of Fury and LOVE the randomness of critical hits. I guess I just like seeing those words "CRITICAL" and "DOMINATION" above my character, it lets me feel as if something is happening in the game that I can witness. Same with Corrs for "SCOURGE" and so on or "ASSASSIN'S STRIKE" for my Stalker.
I love those visual cues and outside the big orange numbers, Brutes have none. -
KM/Regen Stalker - Out of Praetoria (level 16) to level 27 through AE (20-25) and Kal SF.
SPine/Dark SCrapper - 46-49.
Controller - 45-50, Alpha Unlocked and a trial to boot.
Got my firend's Ill/Sonic from 25-45 through a bunch of AE, ITFs and so on.
Double XP is nice, but pretty meaningless with AE giving better rewards.
