  1. The Developers are falling prey to the "new shiny tech" affliction. First it was Ouoboros and Cimerora which fell by the wayside, then it was Praetoria and First Ward (where is the level 30 content for Praetoria?) now it's the four-legged rig.

How many canines/felines do we need?

Seriously, put those resources to high quality costume bundles like Carnival of Light or even the Sci-Fi pack or to new powersets.

Staff fighting could have been released before Issue 22 but I do understand they wanted Dark Control and Dark Assault and Beast Mastery in that timeframe. But it's now mid-April and we still don't know when it is going live. There really should be a schedule under Announcements so we know what to expect and when to expect it...it would alleviate so much forum angst if there were one.

Pretty much this to a "T" except the laptop is on small table to my right, wireless keyboard on my lap and snacks to the left.

Well technically it's the feast of Esther, which involves a lot of celebrating and so on...but no lions. Of course, Christians were allegedly thrown into lion pits and Easter is connected to that sect so there's an oblique connection...
  6. You know what would have been nice in concordance with these?

A staff...that you could wave around to direct your pets, or even swat them on the bum-bum if they're being naughty and peeing on your rug, or perhaps to swat them away.

But apparently Marketing has a massive blind spot toward Staff Melee and the Devs have arleady lost track of the new powerset they've made a few months ago.

    Aaah well...

Well, Mark it Zero, my Walter Sobchak homage has the German Shepherd pet (no Pomeranians...) and references it to the movie's quips while waiting for trials and missions to load. None of my characters can use a lion or liger though.

Honestly, the only thing that could make me spend more this month is if the bubble helmets/Sci-Fi went live. I don't need any of the pet rigs and the novelty stuff outside the flying disc has been fairly meh .
I really just want Staff and Sci-Fi and have my points saved up for those.

  10. Yeah really, really, really want Staff Melee.
My points are staying where they are until that or Sci-Fi is released.

I ran this course on a Tanker (blue)/Bubbler (red) and it took me about 8-10 minutes. You can avoid pretty much all the mobs in IP, the Council base marker is tricky because of the mobs and so is Guttersnipe.

Base porters to Skyway take you to Land of the Lost (complete other end from where you want to be), to IP near the hospital and Peregrine fairly close to the Portal Parter badge, just fyi...

I tend to be quite utilitarian in my shopping; pants and smart shoes, some nice shirts. I have a few skirts and so on for clubbing but I just don't spend hours in stores as I used to.
  13. Hmmm well two accounts and I get all the costumes and most powersets, so I would say an extra $80 total, perhaps $100. I haven't purchased any points in a while though now that I have all the Elemental pieces and Staff Fighting has not released, and likely will not until a new powerset or costume suite knocks me out of the water.

After talking it over with Amy the AV idea is nixed (IOs + capped HP = tie for first).

It's going to be two TFs (different objectives), a level 4 race, a costume/bio contest and a low-level arena slugfest.

I'm still trying to get costume codes from Zwillinger for the costume contest. If I can't I'll give decent prizes.

There will be prizes for 1-2-3 in all categories. some may be more imposing than others etc.

1.) I think teams should be allowed to place bounties on each other!
2.) I'll personally donate to the prize pool one complete atio set of the same types played by each member of the first place team after all is said and done. Come gitchoo some!
    3.) My team's gonna love their atio's!
4.) My global is "@obs inc" without a period!
    5.) Hasta la pasta!
Save your ATIOs, with limited challenges and teams being restricted in fielding multiple challenges the standings likely won't move much until the end of the ladder.

P.S. Bounties are a really dumb (and not dUmb) idea. If you want to hear screaming, kicking and complaining wait until that happens to someone's team and they lose/win etc. It's a fun league and I don't think anyone really cares at this point. As Pixel said, "rolling faces along keyboards" and so on.

    GLHF.
  21. Hey guys.

I am looking for a handful of volunteers for the Champion Olympics.
Need a few to man checkpoints for the race event and redside help
(Need a tough AV redside and blueside if anyone has those missions, no AE).

More details will be forthcoming...contact me via PM or ingame @Neuronia or @Neuronium.

P.S. Yes, there will be prizes awarded for the Olympics 1-2-3 place type thing.
P.P.S. There will be team, solo and non-combat events.

Probably more busy filling bio fields than being useful; then again "INSERT BIO HERE" and "TEXT" can only tell you so much about a character's motivations...

To be honest, though, I don't think Sister Psyche was directly targeted. I think it was a combination of the fact that it was actually Manticore that was targeted as being the renegade that the writers decided to make one of the center-pieces to the story, combined with the fact that the devs seem to be shuffling the pieces around surrounding the character and her alternate analogs, that painted a bullseye on her.

I don't know if it really can be attributed to spite: is it even true that any of the writers involved ever had a working relationship with Jack?
Psyche's death was needless except to help self-gloss Positron. The proper decision would- have been to let Numina or Citadel or Luminary get the job, to avoid any potential conflict of interest issues instead of it seeming as if Positron wanting a ton of attention. At least War Witch wasn't made part of the Phalanx, but the Wesley Crusher-esque Penny Yin is bad enough...cannot wait until we never see her again.

I get Statesman leaving, but that's where it should have ended. Especially since NO ONE on redside took a hit, unless you count the eternally bohemian Scirocco's self-redemption as being an abandonment of Arachnos principles.
  23. Issue 12 PvP server, unlimited IOs/Respecs/everything.

    Call it a day.

Have some ideas but need to do it redside/blueside or Coop.
