Can't forget Highlander 2: the Quickening (also referred to as the Sickening), Highlander 5: the Source (worse then HL2), Star Trek 5 (not entirely Shat's fault as the studio did want a rush job), the Star Wars Holiday Special,........the singing exploits of both Shatner and Nimoy.....

Quote:Actually, given that in FEAR # 3 (spoiler) the daughter of the Red Skull who was the first of the Worthy to emerge killed Bucky Barnes as Captain America, thus necesitating Steve Rogers to suit up as Cap once again in Fear #4 (jsut in time for the movie) and the Black Widow and Bucky were lovers, so that smaller woman silhouette could be the Black Widow.Don't know anything about this story. Was at the comic shop today and looked them over, just wasn't sure if it was worth picking up.
However, I'll have to say She-Hulk on the tall woman, and with that design, Spider-Woman as the other.
Or it's Sue Richards out to stop the empowered THING. -

Yes, Mjolnir is forged by the dwarves in the comic, along with Beta Ray Bill's hammer Stormbreaker. ODIN simply empowers the weapons.

Here are some villains that we could do without; all from the Adam West Batman TV series:
1. King Tut
2. Egg head
and nearly every villain on the list of secondary/minor villains from that series,

with Clock King as an exception since Clock King was done rather well in Batman TAS, and as coordinator for the infiltration of the Watchtower in JLU. -
Quote:I'd point out that Destro has never really been all that interested in taking over the world.
He's an arms manufacturer. His family has been in the business for generations. He makes a asston of money of selling his military guns, robots and vehicles. Mostly to Cobra, who is ALWAYS buying.
So he's never so much "following a weak leader" as "showing nominal support for an important client."
I personally don't think he cares if Cobra succeeds in anything or not. Just as long as they keep buying.
Also, his girlfriend is in Cobra. So he has to at least pretend he cares.
Cobra was somewhat less inept in GI Joe: Resolute, though.

I agree, heck if Destro could sell to GI Joe as well he would. If anything Destro might be the one best positioned to shut Cobra down. -
My EM toons still play great despite EM changes, that being said however I would certainly NOT object to Energy Transfer being reverted to its original animation, OR its original animation being inserted as a choice for the power when you customize the powers.

Regen + Katana = "I'm Duncan Macleod of the clan Macleod" Another Regen+katana enters "I'm Connor, same clan, different vintage"
Regen + Broadsword = Kurgan -
Quote:Bump it up a few years and have Optimus and the Autobots have Sam+Carly's son: Daniel to aid them. Can't say I care for that rumor.
Carly + Sam (aka Spike...and why he couldn't get that as a nickname at some point, I don't know). Just how it should be. And now they want to move Carly onto someone else if Shia doesn't return.
Lame.
Instead. Sam and Carly can be off, and in comes the new NEST guy or what have you, played by Statham. -
her mother is Callisto of the underground tribe of mutants called Morlocks.

My own idea for Top 10 list:
1. Star Trek (the entire franchise)
2. Dr. Who
3. Blake's 7
4. Babylon 5
5. Red Dwarf
6. Battlestar Galactica (original and new, minus Galactica 1980)
7. original V miniseries and sequel miniseries (Tv series itself is optional)
8. Six Million Dollar man
9. Incredible Hulk (minus the 3 TV movies) included for the Jeckyl-Hyde dynamic and for some of the issues the show touched on.
10. Firefly/Serenity. -
Though anime can indeed be called Sci-Fi and I greatly enjoy anime, I feel that anime should have it's own list. However if such shows from Japan are going to be included then the entire Ultraman franchise (except for Ultraman Powered..ugh..) must be included as well.

Nice proliferation and Energy Aura armor gets some much needed love.
Now as long as we are talking Power Proliferation, lets also talk Power Customization.....
Ancillary, Patron, Pool powers, Granite Armor, Khelds....... -
I wish we could do multiple attachments, for example an alt of mine needs 5 pangeaon soil for 5 recipies, instead of 5 emails with on Pangean each I'd like to just send one email with all 5.
Also things like Vanguard merits, AE tickets, reward merits, incarnate components I'd like to be able to email to my alts so that I can consolidate and remove them from retired alts. -

Very nice!
Hm, I wonder when we will get an episode or two that deals with the menace of the Hypnotoad. He has his own show just sitting there beaming out his thoughtwaves.....bet Fry is the only one immune to it too. -
Quote:Tell that to Judge Dreddlife sentence is not your entire life... it is i think 90 years
This whole article/discussion reminds me of the Season 1 ep of Babylon 5 where the war criminal Deathwalker arrived on the station, everyone wanted their pound of flesh as it were for her genocidal war crimes until they all learned she had a serum for immortality.
After that, they decide to get the serum developed for all races then execute her for her crimes, she reveals the evil secret of the serum, then as her ship flies to the jump gate a Vorlon ship comes out and blasts her ship to pieces. Ambassador Kosh simply looks at everyone and says "You are not ready for immortality."
Words to remember. -
Quote:Indeed it does, now also add in having the unique miracle and Numina IO in fitness/health.I once considered making a /WP brute that had Quick Recovery, Stamina, Physical Perfection and Superior Conditioning, each slotted to the ED cap and the +end proc. After that I was gonna give him tons of +HP. The idea was that he was able to run everything, all the time without either bar moving from full, or damn near it.
One great thing about the +end proc that people often don't mention or realize is that it gives you an infusion of 10% of your current endurance. That means the more endurance you have, the better the proc is. -
Quote:For stamina recovery there's no such thing as overkill. Put a proc in each one then give consideration to obtaining Cardiac for your Alpha slot.I'm planning on 4-slotting Stamina on my Axe/Shield Brute with Performance Shifters, including the proc +End. Since I'm also taking Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection on this alt, does it make sense to take more than 1 of these on him, or would 3 End procs be overkill?
I have some brutes that have Stamina/Quick Recovery/Superior Conditioning and Cardiac Alpha. Their nicknames now are Energizer and Duracell. -
Plot: improvement over 2, not saying much
Characterization: improved over 2, still weak
Peter Cullen returning as Optimus: great
Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel Prime: great. Brought back some nice memories of him as Galvatron.
CGI: great
Seeing in 3D: feh I could barely stomach this movie in 2D, no need for 3D.
Michael Bay: still too crazy with the explosions, choppy direction, movie felt disjointed to me.
New girl: nice trade up.
Overall: I'll hope that if there is a 4th movie that it is called Transformers: REBOOT and Michael Bay is kicked to the curb as the franchise restarts.
Won't be adding this movie or #2 to my library. -
Quote:I liked that her call sign was Sapphire when she was in the air and I think I saw a sapphire pn her flight helmet too.Went to it again and saw it in 2D this time. There was nothing gained by watching it in 3D.
However...I realized that Blake Lively would look most excellent in a Star Sapphire outfit. Especially the Ame-Comi version of SS.
Yes she would look quite...excellent....as Star Sapphire. -

Quote:Regarding the yellow weakness, for the most part it was eliminated in the movie and as in GL:Rebirth it was shown that yellow is fear and fear corrupts willpower, UNLESS the user of willpower focuses their willpower, then willpower can trump fear.It actually felt like a streamlined Emerald Dawn to me also in many ways. The main differences: they eliminated the ring's yellow weakness, replaced Legion with pseudo-Parralax, and set the climax on Earth instead of Oa. All three changes would have probably been necessary even if they attempted to translate Emerald Dawn directly to the screen. Emerald Dawn also has too many things going on in it for a single movie.
I liked Emerald Dawn myself, but no way does Emerald Dawn make it to this or any other movie screen without major alteration.
To be honest I like how the yellow weakness is in the comics nowadays as I never liked the old "Due to a necessary impurity the power ring is useless against anything yellow". It always felt like the dumbest weakness in comics history to me.
