  1. My own ideas for PB/Kheld improvement:

    1. Pool powers are available when transformed. If my stone armor alts can go granite form and still retain access to the pool powers then why not the Khelds? I find it hard to believe that it would make them "overamped".

    2. human form attacks receive a 20% damage increase.

    3. Squid mode: it's powers recharge faster and have a 30% damage increase. Conversely a slightly higher stamina burn to compensate for these changes. Also Pulsar and Photon Seekers being available in this form would be nice for PB, for WS Unchained Essecne and Dark Extraction could be available in squid mode

    4. Dwarf Mode: attacks recharge faster and have 30% damage increase, some resist to endurance drain, also they could benefit from a fury bar, I wouldn't mind if the teleport power was yanked from drwaf mode and another attack put in its place, also Dawn Strike/Quasar being available in Dwarf mode as well. Transforming into human form to unleash either of those attacks carries a risk at times, triggering the power when transformed with the usual stamina drain plus reversion to human form however may not be so bad.

    5. Also for PB since lightform can now be made perma, aside from pool powers available while transformed (hence access to HASTEN), the lightform power should also be made available while transformed, thus removing the need/risk to revert to human form to reactivate lightform. For WS make eclipse available when transformed.

    6. The constant KB/KD debate for PB.....how about special power customization where we can set powers to be either KB or KD?

If nothing else, at least make pool powers available when transformed.

  7. One stone tank, 2 stone brutes, all have at least 95% run boost from IO and 65% recharge boost from IO, and at the defense soft cap as well, all well worth it.

Alpha is Cardiac to improve stamina usage and also Cardiac bolsters resists so less slots for armor resistance and those slots go to attacks and defense slotting.

I think the only two castings they got remotely correct was Mai Shiranui and Iori Yagami...BECAUSE THEY WERE AT LEAST ASIAN! So not a complete whitewash...

Mai, Kyo and Iori are the main characters...mind is already blown, especially given Iori's background.

Rugal is the main bad guy, okay that's fine...except for the fact he's played by Ray Park. No offense to Ray Park, but he really didn't fit the character.

I'm a big fan of Terry Bogard due to the Fatal Fury movies...and my god...I felt like I was stabbed with a spoon when I saw his character getting beat up by what I would compare to cannon fodder and for some reason, he's Mai's partner in the CIA.

Kyo is the chosen one and is the only one who can stop Rugal and some backstory about the Kusanagi sword...blah blah blah...

I really can't complain too much about the wardrobe with the exception of Mai and Terry. Now I know Mai wasn't going to be sporting her fanservice outfit...but what they had her fighting in was god awful, purple looking dress. Now...Terry Bogard has a really basic outfit...and yet they even screw that up when we see him in a mock up version of it, I guess it was too much to find a red jean jacket and a pair of red Converse shoes. I guess this was some sort of easter egg, but after the Rugal fight, we see him pick up a red and white hat off the ground that says Fatal Fury.

I know the movie is "loosely" based on the property...but god damn...just...****...so much hate.

I was fine w/ the tournament being in another dimension...just the story they pitted around it was full of ****.

If you think this was bad (and it was), may you never watch the Van Damme Street Fighter movie or the Dragonball Z movie

Looking at you Performance Shifter proc in Light Form.
Perf Shifter Proc in Light form would activate when the power is activated but I don't recall it running as long as the power is on.

However Perf Shifter Proc in your Stamina will always be on and functioning. Also a Perf Shifter proc in Nova and Dwarf powers will work as long as they are on.

    DCnU [Spoilers!]

With 52 universes now in the DC Multiverse, and as I recall not all of them have been classified as to what universe they are, instead of rebooting the mainstream universe they could have just put the mainstream on hiatus except for the bat books and GL and moved to one of the alternates for this. This whole "we must reboot...AGAIN!" is getting tiresome.

To be honest DC should save the next major cosmic reboot for if they lose the Superman rights since that is the only way to remove him from DCU. (not that they likely will lose the rights, they would likely make a settlement)

Call it a hunch but I suspect that the producers felt that many viewers wouldn't be looking at her boots.

Jet Li was awesome (he typically is) but the whole subplot (and the ending) with Dolph Lundgren's character really drove a stake into this movie for me.

Yes, it delivered on the 'splosions and violence, which I was okay with. It just needed something more to make it memorable.
To me it was memorable getting all those action stars together. Talk about juggling some swelled heads in the cases of some. Also Dolph's character should have been killed off and I think Jet Li would easily trounce him in a real fight.

Quite true, but of Batman's Rogues, the one least likely to capriciously dispose of a henchman would be Rha's Al Ghul and perhaps the Riddler.

They'd all snuff you if you attempted to turn evidence against them but barring that, those two should be the safest.
  17. Wow they got past Van Damme's ego and were able to cast him?

There is that to consider. Not everything in comics translates well to the big screen.

First X-men movie: "you guys go out in these things?" "You expected yellow spandex?"

or the jokes the made in 2008 Hulk about the stretch pants and how Banner said he'd take his chances rather then wear purple stretch pants.

It looks awesome from a side view, but straight on it looks weird.. Then again, maybe it's the off blue the helmet is that's causing the weirdness.
Wing as ornament would likely break off rather easily.

Yeah there's pretty much only 3 options from what I can see, if you're willing to accept that your boss is a ********* anyway and will likely throw you at Batman to get away (which I imagine is pretty much a 'comes with the job' territory for a career Henchperson).

Penguin (who tries to be legit atleast), The Ventriloquist (Mobsters usually reward loyalty and hard work) or Rupert Thorne (also mobster in B:TAS).
Roland Dagget and Rupert Thorne and Ventriloquist/Scarface would leave you to rot if necessary and would have you silenced if you planned to turn evidence against them. Penguin would feed you to his birds.

  24. There is not enough money in the world to risk working for the Joker, working for Harley is bound to attract Joker's attention as he doesn't like it when she's solo. Joker is way too random and while there may be method to his madness, he's a complete loon.

Penguin: he went "legit" so to speak and basically set up the bar/restaurant and likely was becoming the new kingpin of Gotham's crime circuit. Working for him wouldn't be too bad as long as you can put up with his attempts at aristocracy and all the birds. I suspect the pay and benefits may not be too bad.

Riddler: he uses henchmen from time to time and would keep some around to feed his massive intellectual ego. Now while he isn't the Joker, he's still crazy but more in an obsessive-compulsive way. As Batman in TAS told him in one episode "You can't stop yourself" and Batman was right. Also while Riddler may want to kill Batman, Batman is the only one that can match wits with him so it would be a never ending game against Batman that might send me as his henchmen to the hospital and/or prison quite a bit, so I'd put Riddler towards the bottom of the list to work for. (Joker wouldn't even be on the list)

Mad Hatter: feh he'd make drones out of his henchemen if he felt the need to. He's way to into controlling people.

Ventriloquist: perhaps the most mentally stable of Batman's villains despite being a schizoid. Scarface rewards loyalty, punishes screwups but doesn't seem to be a capricious killer.

Clayface: he doesn't really use any.

Catwoman: she's at least semi-legit after meeting Batman

Poison Ivy: only if I could wear a breath filter to block out her poisons and her pheremones and maybe not even then.

Bane: any henchman that fails him would likely find themselves broken in two.

Scarecrow: only if can get innoculated with the antidotes to his assorted gas formula

Mr. Freeze: NO. He'd freeze you just for looking at him.

Now the problem with all the above is that at any time they will abandon you to Batman and the law if ti served their purposes or if you failed them somehow and they would not come to bail you out of jail unless they wanted to kill you to make sure you didn't turn states evidence against them.

Rha's Al Ghul: okay now granted his philosophy seems to be that in order to save the Earth he must scorch the Earth clean, but I suspect that those in his employ will be well treated, provided they pass muster of course. Also if you prove valuable enough to him he might well use the Lazarus Pit to keep you around for a long time.

    Now for Batman Beyond:

Derek Powers: okay he's the Lex Luthor of the show, but even before he was Blighted I suspect that his top agents were well paid, provided of course they don't screw up. I suspect Derek Powers has a long trail of bodies behind him as shown at the end of Season 1 when Batman/Terry confronted him in the submarine

"You KILLED my father!" Blight's response: "Do you have the slightest idea how LITTLE that narrows it down?"

Spellbinder: he's worse then the Mad Hatter when it comes to brain twisting people and he'd be more then likely to braintwist any henchmen.

The Royal Flush Gang: only if I can marry into the family and be groomed to be the next King.

Inque: she doesn't like henchmen, remember the guy that helped her in exchange for her giving him her power?

Shriek: a bit crazy after blowing out his hearing, but shouldn't be too bad to work for.

Paxton Powers: a pale imitation of his father. Wouldn't waste my time with him.

The Kobra Organization: don't like snakes much, wouldn't want to dress like one and don't want to have to yell "COOOOBRRAAA!" (Okay different franchise but you get the idea)

    Stalker: he doesn't use henchmen
