    i agree here. Punchvoke was installed on tankers since the launch of CoH and way before inherents came. The Devs simply repackaged it and gave it a new name, but never gave tankers a real inherent (while other classes like blaster, stalkers, controllers, Masterminds, brutes, and even defenders all have multiple inherent abilities). I suggest that every attack and hit a tank dishes out or recieves increases his resistance much like fury does for brutes. That would be a real inherent.

    Also domination is in every way a plus to doms i don't understand why you would say it's a disadvantage since having domination is better than not having it. Tankers on the other hand will see very little difference if gauntlet were removed. The HEAT inherent is also a plus once your on a team.

    Build Advice

    U'll be able to sap bad players who have every useless toggle on and attacking constantly. Some other builds can sap just as good as ur build with one power from the therm set. Just hold off on this and make an elec/therm troller or elec/elec dom maybe. Trust me when i say that the elec controll is gonna have potential.

  4. List ur toons that Dm/regen can be a FCer or webnader at best.
  5. the only one that would be ok for zone PvP is the thugs/dark but keep in mind that although you can survive a lot of dmg on this MM, it wont mean you can put out any offense nor can you be much of a help to you ur teammates. Also Anyone being attacked by you can run away and if ur lucky and they stay to fight, you might get a kill. If you want to help ur teammates on a /dark MM get the perception IO and slot it into tactics or focus accuracy, then get darkest night, slot some range in it and keep targets suppressed and from running away from your teammates.

    If your gonna roll a new PvP toon ask here first and we'll give you some ideas before you start lvling.

  8. I answered her Q in my first sentence. There are no good stalkers that can kill a good stalker. I offered alternative meaningful advice after that.
  9. if ur dueling a stalker with a stalker ur SOL same goes for fighting regen scrappers. I would recommend a well IOed and proced fort with poison dart and shatter armor with max perception to fight a regen stalker (also psi attacks cut through MoG as if it were'nt even on and if he doesn't bring too many greens the stalker should eventually die). A poison MM a cold or a therm for killing regen scrappers. In most cases it'll prolly be a draw but at least these classes have a chance of killing them if they mess up somewhere.
  10. these dream powers tip the scale. I mean they will make life easier for the un-IOed dom in PvE but they will certainly break PvP balance lol. I do wanna add that i hope doms will get Focus Accuracy in one of the future pools.

    any well built dom beats elec/therms 1 cuz they have the dmg now, 2 domination refills all end. besides, informed players know excactly what earth can do so earth is not underrated especially when the general consensus ranks it where it fits. Nrg also has underperforming dmg and does not make up for it with its PB and KB vs high end builds so it is also usually rated where it belongs. I'd say that the combo earth/nrg or even /ice has some synergy in pvp but against good players it can be easily countered.

    ok thx that explains alot. That's such weak sauce for my playstyle which is to switch back and forth depending on my opponents animation times and if he is mezzed/KBed. This game really does not reward skills... i guess ima have to sit there in BG mode and spam debuffs like the rest of the MMs till the dude dies on his own lol. I swear how do people actually die by MMs? But i'll figure something out where i can take advantage of multitasking or something else that requires skill.

    ok so i put my pets on defensive which puts them in BG mode, great thats nice but they don't retaliate when im hit. Actually they do attack back but it takes them 15 sec or so to react, and by that time a blaster could have me at half hp already lol. I fight MMs plenty and everytime i hit them their pets hit back immediately so what am i doing wrong here? Also anyone got a sure-fire BG mode bind that makes sure your pets fight back and stay in BG mode? thx ahead of time.

  19. i think you would be ok going ar/therm/mace HE, Web, runaway then come back after they start complaing HE, web and run. U have no aim but at least burst has a bit of -def on it. WHen drained use ur gun. Also why not pistols? it's animation times are better and it has dots.

    sad thing is u need to get bean bag for those toggle debuffs tho it doesn't do any dmg like cosmic burst. and ingnite does decent dmg in pvp for some reason. U might make for a good MM killer at best.
  20. Benumb is also a crazy debuff to heals regen dmg and mezzes. Infrig + sleet is decent enough to tie things down till HL is back up. IMO i'd still go with the rad its easier to play and produces nearly the same results.
  21. pain corrs are nearly impossible to kill with DR off and alot of wack players know this and used to try to trick you into playing with it off back in i13-14. The best thing to do is set up a match with someone who has shakles slotted up and with decent global recharge and test from there.

    Wait this is for a PvP MM right? if that's the case why in the world did you gimp your toon to get that much recovery? you'll never need more than 200% even if your running like 5-6 toggles. Also resistance is more important to a PvP MM than defense; even regen is more important than defense for a MM. This time around try to get more +recharge for the sake of your debuffs and pets.
  23. PS does have -rec but due to the long recharge it could not have perma debuffed you. And unless he has 400% max recharge (which DR doesn't let you come close) ES's -rec can't be made perma. Were you playing with DR off?
