Here is my Elec/elec Blast for pvp. I tried to focus on damage, energy drain, and a little recharge. I want to know if this build is "good", "ok" or "totally sucks". If it totally sucks(which I am prepared to see many post with that in it) what changes would you make to improve it? I appreicate any advice good or bad. Yes I know this is expensive.

The powersets themselves are a massive waste of time.

The power selections are way off from what makes a good blaster in PvP (If you wanted to waste time with said build) Fly as (only) travel power, no escape (Phase/Hiber), no perception, taking the aoes, taking so many melee attacks, going for elec epic. You took EM Pulse, srsly?

The slotting for the powers is pretty terrible too. Things like your snipe have a... was that a dmg/mez hami-o in it? And that's it? Expensive and awful use of IO's. You slotted the Panacea proc over a miracle....

As far as advice goes re-roll re-roll re-roll. Then look up a few builds posted around because everything that could have been done wrong, for the most part... was.

U'll be able to sap bad players who have every useless toggle on and attacking constantly. Some other builds can sap just as good as ur build with one power from the therm set. Just hold off on this and make an elec/therm troller or elec/elec dom maybe. Trust me when i say that the elec controll is gonna have potential.

elec/nrg would sapp better.

there is no reason to pump that much cash into, what is arguably the worst blaster combo in both pve and pvp.

you need more kb(41 atleast), you should have capped hp, no perception or escape, and you should not have fly or elec APP. (basically everything liberty said) honestly this looks more like a concept build that you just decided to put abunch of pvp io sets in, which doesn't make a build pvp ready.

PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

I had a very old elec/elec blaster from back in the day and was thinking of converting him to pvp. Back in the day when I played him he was pretty good at draining energy and I even solo'd the "Envoy of Shadow AV" with him (it took forever for me to to wittle down his HP but I was safe because he had no energy to fight back). A long while back the Devs changed it so that boss lvl or above pve critters will alway of 5-10% end no matter how much u sapp them. I was thinking that maybe if I updated him he might be ok at pvp which is why I asked for advice. Good thing I did not make this conversion happen yet. Back when I played this guy "A malta sapper was it!". There was no therm power set or any power set that sapped energy better than this type of toon.There was no pvp that is how old he is. So I will look into a elec/therm controller instead because it seems that time has pasted that old timer. Thanks for the advice all.

Tried to make a elec/therm troller in mids. No primary elec power set for doms and no elec anything for trollers????

i have an elec/mental i built to sap for 1v1 a long time ago, its got horrible damage but it can get the sapping done decently with the fear->drain->short circuit+blasts. problem is, since the damage is so low you will have to play more defensively since you arent pressuring them all that much. ive had people at zero endurance and still couldnt get the kill because of elec blasts horrible animations and low damage. just reroll and build something for just damage(thanks i13).
